My vehicle was legally parked in front of my home and hit by a person insured with Unique I followed all the proper steps they requested to process the claim The claims adjuster who looked at my car agreed verbally to all requests I made for repairs as I am familiar with the repair process When I received the estimate he did not write it for anything he spoke of, basically he outright lied to me The company only pays the shops $24.00/hr labor rate which is half of what a standard insurance company pays I am sure the shops who do their work will only do half as good a job being they get half of what other companies pay! I say steer clear from this company I had to file the claim through my own insurance company, pay a deductible, and wait for them to subrogate for repairs I hope they really go to court over this and collect fully The *** ** *** *** *** should do a better job of regulating and overseeing such companies as Unique and hold them accountable to the same standards as other companies

If you are considering Unique Insurance for car insurance please take one look at this review and run for your life!!! My car accident occured in July and here I am months later (!!!) still with no assistance! BY FAR THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE EVER EXPERIENCEDI could not get ahold of my adjuster and neither could the autobody shop where my car was towed(Supposedly there was another car with the same make, model, year, and color as my car and at the shop and the adjuster accidentally confused the two vehicles)Regardless, they continued to fax the wrong work order to the autobody shop at least or timesI have tried countless times to reach themMy adjuster Bhaumik has been completely rude throughout this period even going so far as to laughing at my dillema on the phoneHe presented me with a substandard offer considering the headache I've gone through (Over $2,in rental car expenses alone!) To make matters one hundred times worse he presented this disgusting offer with his claim estimate paperworkAS I BEGAN TO READ IT THE ERRORS WERE ALARMINGThey got everything all wrong!! Total negligence on their part!! Here are some of the real big errors I found: YES my car does have air conditioning ( they listed it as No), YES my car does have automatic transmission (those two things alone are HUGE to me) YES my car does have power mirrors, power locks, power steering, and power everythingThe two previous owners were family member so I know :::for sure::: NO, there was never a lien on it, NO ithere was no factory recall for the automatic start feature, NO the damage to the vehicle was not in the front, NO the accident didn't happen in Indiana, NO my last name is not spelled McClain, NO this is definitely not my car at all:::Complete and total negligence::: My adjuster Bhaumik has admitted guilt on their end yet absolutely will not give me the contact information for his supervisor and like I said before he laughed at my situation on the phoneThere is an arrogance about this company and no one seems to care at allI've tried endlessly to get ahold of someone anyone there for helpI'm filing a claim with Revdex.com and have set up an appointment with an attorney for early next weekIt's a shame when your insurance company can't even spell your own name right and the lack of caring is beyond appallingIt's obvious there are likely thousands more cases like mine regarding this company

Unique Insurance should NOT be accredited with the Revdex.com They have done exactly the opposite of what the BB accreditation is supposed to mean They have shown absolutely NO commitment to make a good faith effort to resolve any consumer complaints I was hit by one of their "insured" drivers six months ago and they have thrown out my case because the driver has not responded to their calls and now has an unlisted number I have the police and accident report to prove the fault of the driver and yet the burden is on me to pay for my damages I was hti from behind at a toll booth! This insurance company should not be allowed to do what they are calling business I have seen and heard nothing but negative things about this company who refuses to pay even the most clear cut cases

While this accident was reported to Unique Insurance at 4:PM on 02/02/2016; the coverage was bound for this policy at 11:AM on this datePer the *** report, the accident occurred at 7:AM on 02/02/

only suggest that she go through her own insurance companyThis way, her company will fix the car according to her policy and then can subrogate to Unique InsuranceThis way, she would even receive her deductible back as wellThis should not affect her rates either.Thank you,
