Prior to working with a local mortgage broker, I had never heard of UWM. As it turns out, they are America's largest wholesale lender. Their secure servicing website is awesome! You can set up all your info, set up your payment exactly as you like, designate more towards principal, etc. It's very interactive!

As a Loan Originator, United Wholesale Mortgage is as good as they get when it comes to service to the Mortgage broker community and our customers. The systems they have set up help to create a much faster process for the mortgage loan to get done in a timely manner. Actually, their systems far exceed those that are available with other lenders. When time is of the essence and I need to get a mortgage loan done fast, the back office systems of this company make things happen, other do not have this capability. There are times when I need to use other sources and I am thankful to those companies as well. I entered the mortgage industry after The Great Crash of 08-09 and as a veteran to this industry for close to a decade I have seen the good and bad that the industry has to offer. I’m not going to say every mortgage company is perfect and I’m not going to say United Wholesale Mortgage is perfect either. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but the fact is for a company like UWM to grab the reigns and adopt the level of technology they have implemented bar none is the best over all in the entire industry. If the public only knew what level of protection the owner puts forward to safeguard every single clients personal information and the steps the company takes by making a difference in the industry, with best practices put forward... It would make anyone’s head spin. I am part of the largest National Brokerage in the country “NEXA Mortgage” and I will say that I am very pleased to be part of this company and the support, pricing, and guidance that UWM offers to their patrons and clients.
The public has to consider being patient during these times, these are uncharted territories for country and industry which in turn is experiencing a major shift for the good. I have never seen, heard, or thought UWM could ever have bad intentions to hurt a consumer like other large companies I have seen. do. In addition UWM is the only company of its size and kind that has never been sued for 100’s of millions of dollars like some other major institutions have... In any event follow your gut and look at the Loan Officer your working with, that’s where it starts and finishes.
