Issue has been resolvedI have received a full refund

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowthis is the third time that I have filed a complaint against vizio about my defective television that was purchased two years ago from [redacted] the television just stopped working due to a power issue that vizio is not taking full responsibility forI am not the maker of the product I am the displeased consumer who purchased the productCan someone please contact vizio and ask them for a written response to why they are not taking responsibility for the productMr [redacted] from vizio's corporate office stated that it would be unfair to replace my out of warranty television because of a power issue, because it would not be fair to people with warranties and it could cause them to be sued.I would like my television to be replaced with a new one Regards, [redacted]

When I bought my house I bought a Vizio smart tv from WalmartAfter the screen went blackAccording to Vizio this TV has been recalled since chip issue and screen will go blackI have got the run around for months about this issue and recallKnowing there is a recall on my model, they refused to fix my TV nor will they replace it So I have a inch, $1,boat anchorI will never do business with Vizio ever againTerrible customer service

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below My initial complaint had several factors associated with it and most still applyVizio contacted me and outlined their replacement policy, and I was given no other choice but to accept itPrimary issue I have is Vizio reserves the right to replace defective TV’s with “reconditioned” units, which my replacement wasThe replacement TV’s only come with a day warranty and no assurance is given the replacement will not eventually have the same defect, other than they go through the same quality control process as the rest of their TV’sHowever, the customer is given the choice to purchase, at their expense, an extended warranty for the replacement TVThe supervisor who contacted me with regards to my first replacement stated the defect rate the these TV’s was 1-3%, which means, if true, I’m one of the unluckiest people on the planet because I now have had the same issue happen twice with two separate TV’s This ***e I’m being offered a new TV replacement, which is what I asked for in the first placeHowever, I still have been given no assurance the new TV will be any different than the reconditioned, as that was supposed to be a defect free unit as wellSince I am having to go through this process a second ***e for the same issue, I’m requesting a refund or the replacement have a full year warrantyI also request specific documentation of what will be the resolution if the second replacement TV is defective and replacement is required a third ***eI was informed there were “other options" if this happens a third ***e but the representative would not provide any specifics As stated below, if the quality of products is truly important to Vizio, they should have no problem offering an explanation, in writing, as to what’s being done to address the white/bright spot defects on the new replacement TV I’m being offered and also provide a one year warranty starting the date the TV is receivedMy preference would be to get a refund so I would be 100% assured to not have to go through this again with Vizio Regards, [redacted]

The television I purchased is broken, Vizio refuses to repair it although there is still a warranty on the productIt was purchased in October and still has a warranty on the television Comcast says the issue is not there repair issue

I would advise everybody to steer away from anything with a Vizio nameIt's just not right for anyone to get away with what they doIn my opinion that is no different than theft.I know people who have been locked up for less than thatVery Ridiculous!!!

We purchased a Vizio TV had it years starting experiencing lines in the picture I also looked online and found a lot of complaints with the same issue I contacted Vizio they offered dollars off a new TV I will not invest in any other products from this company The customer service area did not seem to care about customer satisfaction Seems the company has had numerous complaints on picture quality but are unwilling to take responsibility for the issue

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowThe issue was not weather or not the TV would be covered under the warranty as the TV was less than a year old it wasThe issue became we were told many times by multiple representatives that the process from the initiation of the warranty process until the delivery of the TV would be 7-daysI called Vizio on 9/11/because the TV failed to turn onThe representative set it up so someone would come to our house to fix it9/12/received a call from Vizio that was cancelled and Vizio was shipping a tv, and again confirmed with the rep several times the process would take 7-days 9/18/called Vizio again and received confirmation that [redacted] received the TV9/22/received a call from [redacted] that they were not delivering the TV until 9/28/ Called 9/22/called Vizio again and received confirmation that the TV was processed through [redacted] system on the 19thpoke to the Super [redacted] and he stated once the TV goes to the delivery service there is nothing he can do except send an escalation email as it is out of his handsIt could take hours for [redacted] to respond to the escalation emailThe supervisor gave tracking number and number for us to call ***Tracking number given en [redacted] 9/22/called [redacted] at [redacted] gave her the tracking number given by [redacted] at Vizio [redacted] confirmed my information and said I was sent up for Delivery on 9/23/between 12pm-4pm9/23/no delivery9/23/called [redacted] gave him the tracking same tracking numberHe pulled up someone else's information and they were scheduled for a Delivery on 9/23/instead of me [redacted] gave the correct tracking number and said that my delivery was still on 9/28/Which was out of the timeframe of the 7-business days that was given 9/24/ [redacted] from Vizio called and said that he would see about getting the TV on Monday or Tuesday (9/26-9/27) and that if [redacted] would not deliver it those days then he would look into other avenues for me to get the TVHe was supposed to follow up to see if the TV was going to be delivered in that timeframe and never did 9/received a call from [redacted] at [redacted] and she said she just received an escalation regarding the TV and as the Trucks were already out the TV could not be delivered on 9/She was working on a delivery for 9/She stated that [redacted] had 7-days from when they received the TV to deliver itShe is the second person at [redacted] to tell me thisI told her that Vizio promised 7-10days from the start of the process and she said it wasn't true I had to call Vizio again and again the issue had to be escalated and [redacted] again called back and was able to get a delivery for 9-and the TV has been deliveredI am upset with the process and miscommunication that we had to go through to finally get this TVNot to mention that when I called the representative agree that the TV was being delivered out of the time frame promised yet no one could do anythingThe deliver process was stressful as [redacted] will schedule a day but not give a time frame for delivery until the day before the deliveryTo expect people to take a day off of work for an item that may or may not be delivered is upsetting Regards, [redacted]

[redacted] BUYER BEWARE [redacted] I bought a 60” VIZIO tv in 2016, after about months the tv had black lines going through it when the tv was onI called customer service and VIZIO came out and exchanged my tv with a new oneA year and a half later the second tv started going black almost constantlyI called again they told me it’s the backlight and there’s nothing they can do (because it’s out of warranty) but give me a discounted price on a new tvI checked my settings on the tv and the backlight setting was on 100!!!!! I believe VIZIO purposely turned that up to burn the backlight panel out and then have me buy from them againI paid over $for my tv and it’s basically garabage after yearsI have two other TVs for about ten years and never had no problems with eitherI wish I would’ve done my research on VIZIO before purchasing from them! VIZIO is junk! Do not buy or you will be in my shoes in a few yearsI will never buy anything from VIZIO again in my life, their crooks!!
