It is very disappointing that a company does not support the quality of their productI for one will never purchase a Vizio product again, I read that a recall was done back in for the same faultI hope something like this happens again because an expensive TV like this should not go out after monthsAgain I will never buy any Vizio product again not will I recommend it to people.

I purchased a new Vizio TV about months ago A line of pixels went out on the TV A call to Vizio and pictures and receipt emailed, I was informed I would receive a refurbished television and it would take approximately weeks to be delivered I expressed concerns over a refurbished TV since I purchased a new TV I was assured that the TV would be just like new After receiving a delivery time frame today, the refurbished TV arrived The visual inspection was ok but after un-mounting and mounting the replacement TV and turning it on, the screen was cracked all over We had to unbox my old tv and swap them again A call to customer service at Vizio was met with an apology and another week delivery time frame Now they offered to replace with a new TV this time but I'm out a vacation day and have to take another one After escalating to a supervisor, I was offered day shipping but because its Friday at lunch and Monday is a holiday, it will not go out until next week A
On January 6th, 2018, my Vizio M550NV 54.6" Razor LED Backlit LCD HDTV randomly shut off/lost its picture and would not power back on after several attempts (including a manufacturer’s factory reset..) Perplexed by the issue, I researched the television further to see if other such cases existed with this particular model (and possible ways to fix it myself)As it turns out, dozens of customer reviews, for this particular model television, revealed the same manufacturer’s defect (in each case, the television shut down prematurelyMany in as early as a couple of years)Having paid $1,for the television in November 2010, from *** ***, I was extremely frustrated to find that my rather hefty investment had very prematurely died outside of its rather meek 1yr warranty (especially when considering our Sony Bravia Television has still lasted for over years!) I proceeded to call Vizio customer support (1/7/2018) to sort out and address the issueWe walked through the standard procedure to attempt to fix, and again no luck I mentioned that based on my online research, this appeared to be an issue that other Vizio customers had experienced and was curious if he had received similar complaintsThe rep indicated that Vizio was not only aware of the issue with this particular model, but had in fact received many calls from customers complaining of the same issue with the same model TV - failure to power on and pictures issues (all prematurely) He went to talk to his supervisors about my replacement options: Either pay a tech service, at a discounted rate, to see if they could figure out the problem or they could offer me another new TV for $(market price $478)It was the best they could do because I was out of warrantyI indicated several times that this was simply unacceptable - consumers do not pay $1,for a television, with the anticipation of it dying within 5-years or even earlierIt's a manufacturer defect
I am looking for an immediate replacement of my television, with a comparable and defect-free Vizio TV Because this known defect has existed in this particular model, I would expect Vizio to remedy and resolve their own technical issue by removing the dead television and replacing it with a new one free of chargeA very well known, manufacturer’s defect is not the responsibility of the consumer (it is the responsibility of the manufacturer..)
The only reason I'm giving two stars is because the customer service rep was attempting to be helpful (keeping on script with Vizio's policies) and because we enjoyed the TV for the short period we had it
I contacted vizio customer service because my wireless speaker stopped workingthey did all the troubleshooting possible and still no resolutionthey advised me they would replace the item or refund my money because they coded it as defectivei sent them my proof of purchase which was through ***.comthey advised me it was covered under warranteedays later they called to let me know they would refund, after about minutes on hold they advised me they cannot cover though their warrantee because " unbeknown" to me I bought through a seller which was not authorizedvizio rep told me unfortunately there is not way I would have known that , that seller was not authorizedvizio said there is nothing they can do
Bought a tv, that comes with a 1-year warranty with VizioAlso purchased another warranty for after the 1-year Vizio warranty expiresSomething hit my tv screen, and Vizio refuses under warranty with purchase of the tv to fix the problem or replace it as promisedThis tv is less then 6-months oldThere should be no issues with a tv this new!!!! I submitted a previous complaintThis morning I relieved a call from the company, and was told " I may have mailed or emailed a copy of the warranty highlighted that Vizio does not cover damage done, and was offered to purchase another tv at a discounted price." I asked, " there is a time frame stated in your warranty, days for example from purchase that is not covered by Vizio warranty?" And was told " no" and I would not be allowed to have our tv repaired or replaced, but that I could purchase another oneSo why would anyone purchase from this company? I was also told that if I purchased this tv from the retailer
Dear Sir/Madam,
I have purchased a brand new TV months ago, and suddenly it stopped workingApparently something is broken inside the panelWhen I asked them to repair or replace as it is under manufacture warranty, they pretty much told us it's our fault, we broke it, even though there are no scratch on top of the screenThey just put the blame on us and denied to honor the warrantyThey are rude and have poor customer serviceEveryone seems to claim themselves as the last person that I can talk toAnd only solution they gave is to buy another tv almost the same cost as the new oneI have tried talking with them but it seems they just don't careI have also sent them their own review site where many others filed similar complaints and pointed out that they should take care of the customersBut it seems like they just simply stood firm that it was our issue and avoiding the warrantyThis is not ethical, and I would like you to kindly intervene and resolve the issue
Bought inch Vizio TV from Sams Club in January and in less than months TV diedContacted Vizio warranty department and they sent me a defective refurbished replacementContacted Vizio again and was told they no longer had the same model and would send me a better model but this time I have not gotten TV because the rep that was suppose to bring it to my home and set it up never showed when he said he would which was suppose to be 8-4-between and 5pmNever showed and never called to say why he would not be hereThe only way I could contact him was by his email addressWhen I finally heard from him he told me he could only bring me my tv when it fit into his schedule at a convenient time for himI finally told rep that has my replacement tv to send it back to vizio and then get vizio to send it to me directly or to someone that would work with my scheduleI now have been without a working tv for a month now since contacting Vizio on the 10th of JulyI had sent Vizi
Purchased the television less than years ago TV turned off and will not turn on Customer service represtentative said that vizio products only have year factory warranty and that it would not be cost effective to fix My TV is now a large paper weight Terrible product and terrible service!
