Vizio Reviews (1844)

I bought a 70" Vizio TV in - $It lasted until August Has sound - no pictureI saw on the internet this TV has a recall because of this problem yet Vizio states I am out of warranty, cannot do anything but sell me another for a discount price $This TV lasted approxmonthsIt's a shame they can continue to take peoples money and not back their productSomething needs to be done

I bought my TV in September of It failed in December of They replaced the TV under warranty then and they told me that my warranty restarted with the new TVToday the TV failed with the exact same issueTheir are vertical lines on the TV and the TV cycles off automatically to rebootUpon calling, I was told that unfortunately the employee that told me the warranty restarted was mistaken and it really doesn't matter that it was the same exact issue, I would have to purchase a new TV as they would not honor their employees word and my TV was considered out of warrantyJustin, the supervisor, was quite curt with meLacking any compassion or desire to empathize with the given situationGiven it is the exact same issue, it is clearly a product defect that needs to be remedied

lets get the facts correct, yes the original TV was out of warranty by months, but this is the second TV that has failed with the same problemfirst TV was replaced in April of with a remanufactured tv {somebody else's broken TV that was repaired} the second TV has a day Add to dictionary come with the same warranty.second tv failed in septwhich was months out of warrantyI don't think anybody in their right mind would expect two TV's to fail in monthsand lastly Vizio is saying that I should have purchased a extended warrantyfirst of all there is no such thing as a extended warranty as a extension of the manufacture's original warrantythey are called a service contract with a third party insurance companies that always have loop holes and deductibles'bottom line its poor quality to have two large flat screens fail in a short time

I purchased the original tv 5/22/I now have my second replacement that I received on 4/29/The first two simply stopped workingWhen I received the new tv on 4/and turned the tv upside down to place the base on and screw in the four screwsAt this point I heard something roll around inside the tvI completed installing the base and turned the tv on to make sure it was going to workIt worked fine, but I thought I should call Vizio and let them note in in my account since there is obviously something wrong and I wanted to be covered if the tv stopped working like the othersI was informed that because I turned the tv upside down I had terminated the warranty because it states in the manual to lay the tv face down while attaching the baseIt does state "Place the TV screen down on a clean, flat surfaceTo prevent scratches or damage to the screen, place the TV on a soft surface such as a blanket." It doesn't say that if you attach the base in any other fashion the warran

I've received a refund on the above mentioned claim that I recently filed with you on the
company VizioThey agreed to a return to the retailer Costco and agreed to let them issue me a refund for the purchase price of the TV that I purchased at their storeI would still like my claim to be seen on your website as I feel Vizio took far too long for a resolution to the problemIt took me days to get a refundThen after telling me they would pick the TV up several times and not following through I had to get Costco Corporate involved to come to a resolutionThey then told Costco they picked the TV up when in fact it was still sitting in my living roomCostco got them to agree to let me return to it to the store and for Costco to issue me a refund, which they did

I purchased a Vizio television with a one year warranty in December of August of 2017, my television stopped workingI contacted a local tv repair company, the tech stated that from my description the device suffered a "thermal crack" due to overheating and to contact VizioI did some online research, and promptly called Vizio to have the issue diagnosedCase # ***I described the issue, stated the technician's diagnoses and my own limited research and was told that Vizio was not responsible, and only covered "Manufacturer defects"

I purchased a TV at my local Target store on 12/17/I did not use it until this past weekend 4/22/and found TV was not workingI took it back to the target store and it was beyond the return date of 1/24/They advised me to contact VIZIO as it is a warranty issueI contacted VIZIO and was advised it was a shipping problem so not their concernWent back to Target and they blame VIZIO so I am stuck in the middle with no solution

[I am very dissatisfied with the entire refund/return/pickup has all be played out. Honestly, they never respond to your request with any personal flair to the actual situation. Below is their response to EVERY ISSUE that you've presented to them. I had to fight for my refund, remain on hold for minutes, probably hours, discuss over and over again with everyone I spoke with my dissatisfaction with their product, until I FINALLY was presented with "Yes, we will refund your money for the TV". Well, the pick up of the TV has been a disaster and just found out that even though the TV was scheduled by a VIZIO representative for Saturday, Nov 1, the TV actually went BACK to the delivery companies warehouse where it sat until I reached out to them to find out why my tracking number kept coming back "Shipment not found". Last night, one of the Manna Representatives (Nia) had called me to let me know the TV was NOT shipped back, only brought back to their warehouse because they had NO OTHER INFORMATION from VIZIO as to WHERE to ship it. So, instead of the TV being picked up and shipped out and delivered before Thursday, the day VIZIO cuts checks, it was SHIPPED BACK TO VIZIO on Thursday, today, November 6th. So, we NOW have to wait possibly another week before our check is cu, to which I don't even know at this point if I am going to be getting getting anything. I am sure they will find something to dispute. So, that is my REJECT OFFER and "I do not accept the response made by the business to resolve this complaint" I WANT MY COMPLETE REFUND ASAP They wanted their TV back, which they set up, they messed up and now will pay up!!!
Their COMMON response to EVERYTHING

In January I purchased a inch series -E smart TV, today upon moving back to my parentsMoved the dresser to put the tv on I had moved it (gently) to the floor with carpet then when we got the dresser where we wanted it (minutes max) the tv was picked up and placed (“gently”)back onto the new standPlugging in the wires/cables I go to turn the TV on and I see those weird colored lines and then I hear a loud Pop!! I am thinking what the blank just happenedas the tv had no cracks externally I call the warranty of the store I purchased fromwell they “couldn’t” help me so I called Vizio here and they were the rudest people! I literally told the girl what happened and she accuses me of damaging the tvI get it accidents happen but this was no accident I’m not sure how that would have even happenedespecially the loud pop coming from insideAll kinds of lined up and down all crazy patternsI originally asked to speak to a supervisor or manager upon the callThe lady neg

I bought a brand new M501d-A2R (50" 3D/Smart TV) on May 28, from Best Buy in Towson, MD for $On 1/24/16, the screen went black and the TV no longer functions at allThis is a common issue, according to many other online reviews & complaintsI contacted Vizio, and they refuse to provide any repair or replacement services since the year Manufacturer's Warranty has expiredI understand that the warranty period may have lapsed, but I also believe that a TV that costs over $should operate as intended for more than monthsWhile it's very unfortunate that Vizio has chosen to ignore what is clearly a common and costly issue, I wanted to provide this info so others can be aware of the risks involved when purchasing a Vizio TV

Vizio is fully aware of an issue with some models where the picture goes out, but there's no soundThey are doing nothing about it
https://www.ifixit.com/Answers/View/280215/No+picture+but+sound
A lot of people have called Vizio & their answers are the same each timeThey know & the TV is broken now
DO NOT GET ANYTHING VIZIO! How can this be allowedWhere's the recall!?! How us there no class action lawsuit?!
