Dear Revdex.com,We have been in contact with this customer multiple times since June when she disputed her financing We approved for her to have FULL credit of what she spent on the two items - $ The items the customer has re-selected for have been on a manufacturing delay from Ashley Furniture Industry in Wisconsin It is unfortunate that item availability does change beyond our own control We have informed the customer that we are not going to refund the amount of the sofa and loveseat We have allowed our customer to use this amount as an in store credit We will not waver in this decision If our customer wishes, she can use the credit toward any merchandise in the store so she does not have to wait for the new sofa and loveseat Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention once again.Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:This attempt to resolve the dissatisfying experience with Ashley Furniture's customer service department is clearly a last ditch effort to maintain some shred of credibility after ignoring the issue for weeks and countingSince delivery of the couch and other items purchased, it has been a battle to get any response at allAfter spending hours calling up the chain of command requesting to receive "customer service" and being completely ignored, did I post a complaint with the Revdex.comIt is clearly standard operating procedure at Ashley Furniture to intentionally ignore customer's requests for satisfaction by not returning phone calls and refusing to communicate about the problem at hand in order to run out the clock on their refund and return policiesFor what other reason would a business ignore dealing with faulty furniture? Customers, once the purchase is complete and paid for, are set to the side and ignored until one of two things occur : they give up and give in from discouragement, or they become so furious that they will fight tooth and nail to demand satisfaction.Obviously, I am at the latter pointI do not want an exchange, just as I did not want a new chaise lounge cushion sent to my PO Box miles away from my homeThey wasted my time period for returning the couch by ignoring my requests and by refusing to return my phone callsI want nothing else but the empty space in my living room back where this ill-crafted sofa now sitsThey had the opportunity to satisfy me with an exchange weeks ago, but they blew me off in every way possible and continue to attempt to try with their blustery bubble of nonsensical response they've sent into the Revdex.com.What I want is for Ashley Furniture to call me and schedule a time to pick up this shoddy piece of junk couch Regards, [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: As of this date 01/25/we have still not received a complete refund! They came and got the furniture over a week ago and still no refund! Ashley furniture has got to be the biggest con artist that I have ever had to deal with in my life! Regards, [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: this issue still remains The furniture is still in my home Ashley's has attempted to pick up the returned furniture on April I was given a time frame of 4:30-7:30pm When the time exceeded, I called the customer care line and was told they were on the way I called back around 9pm and received the same message, but insisted on a reschedule I had already missed the first part of my shift for work waiting around for the delivery truck to pick-up The date for the second reschedule was May and I was given the same time frame of 4:30-7:30pm The time exceeded again, when I called the customer care line and was told I was route 13, and they were on route I called back at 9pm and was told they were on the way It wasn't until 10pm my husband received a call that the driver was hr away from our house, which would've put the delivery truck at our residence at 11:30pm, which was not a reasonable time to have strangers in my home especially with a timeframe of 4:30-7:30pm pitime I now have a THIRD scheduled piand requested to be the first pick-up, I was told no There are no guarantees on the time frame and they can only suggest I have been put at an inconvenience throughout this entire furniture purchasing task, from the selection, to delivery and now the return of the itemsI've had to miss work on several occasions to sit around and wait In the meantime, NO REFUND HAS OCCURED until the items are received they cannot do the return and the refund I'm also stuck paying the different finance companies they used to avoid a negative impact on my credit history The refund was approved on April and its now 3-weeks later Unacceptable Regards, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: there is no way the bugs were brought into our home except by this bedI believe Ashley Furniture has a day return policy and this bed may have been removed from someone else's home and then brought to mineThe furniture was not wrapped in plastic when delivered and any other purchases I've had delivered they were completely wrapped in plastic until brought into my home A replacement headboard needs to be issued to us Regards, [redacted]
