Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I appreciate the response but it does not get to the root of the problem hereI'm a fairly technically savvy personI worked in the IT field for years and sold electronics for yearsI researched this television set for almost days prior to purchaseResearching both price and technical specifications on well over websitesIn all of that no where, not even on the links I was sent when I started inquiring about this, does it talk anywhere about and upgraded panelNowhere is there technical specifications stating that [redacted] produces a different version of this model of tv that they then sell for an upgraded priceNow I know there is the potential for a panel lotteryIt is known that [redacted] uses a number of panels in their latest LCD's from different manufacturers but because the His a high end model, There is almost no panel lottery on this seriesAll sizes have a [redacted] panel inside, except for the 60"The 60" has a [redacted] panel [redacted] does not produce any 60" panels, no matter the seriesBesides these points, you can consider all sizes of the Hto have the same picture qualitySo you selling me an "upgraded panel" is complete bunk and is what I am upset about and how I feel I was bait and switched because when I called up your rep and he started telling me this line it didn't make any sense based on my prior researchUnfortunately, I did not have the time that evening to dig into it further and when I called back the next day and the next day and the next day no one would answer my call.So what I would like is for a refund of $to get back to the original price I bought this TV for $1,and next time your sales person can be more truthful in what he is selling Regards, [redacted] ***

I was in the market for a new Nikon Dcamera bodyI saw an ad for Abe's of Maine (Westpark Electronics, LLC), that says they had the Nikon Dbody in stock for $3,When I called to order, their salesperson (Jeff S [redacted] ) said it was NOT in stock, but he could get me one and ship it right away for $more, for a total of $3,During our conversation, not once did he ever say it was a gray market camera (a camera meant to be sold in another country other than the United States, and one that Nikon USA will NOT honor a warranty for)The Darrived on Saturday, April 7, in the retail kit box that shows that it includes a Nikkor 24-VR zoom lensHowever upon opening the retail kit box, the lens had been removed prior to shipmentThe only thing included in the box besides the camera battery was a battery, a battery charger, a USB connection cable, a camera strap, and the DmanualOn the side of the box, it said it was supposed to also include a warrantyThere

Purchased an OLED TV online from this business on 11/26/(Cyber Monday) for $with free shipping Rec'd email on 11/instructing me to call and confirm purchase Merchant advised that I would have to pay additional $for insurance & handling indicating this was noted on their website - it is not Cyber Monday sales were over, so I could not find a lower price and completed the purchase I also discovered the TV I received is model OLED55B8PUA when I had cut and pasted OLED55E8PUA from LG's website in my search criteria The "B" model is generations older and less expensive The older model number is correct on the invoice, so I accept that I did not notice the substitution until it was too late, however this represents "bait and switch" selling tactics by this merchant in order to generate unscrupulous product sales This merchant is still advertising the newer model for far less than other online retailers

Westpark Electronics, LLC DBA: Abe's of Maine Camera and Electronics, is a classic bait and switch operation They offer all sorts of name brand products at discounted rates, but in the end they are not an Authorized Dealer of almost any of the brands they carry They sell products that do NOT include the standard year US warranties, and in many cases do not include normally included accessories Once you buy a product from them you will receive a call asking if you would like to buy some of the accessories that should have been included and/or upgrade to the "legitimate" version of the product (for more money of course) They also have a very strange return policy demanding a 15% restocking fee for anything you send back (or refuse delivery for) which is also a suspicious business practice Overall I would NOT recommend doing business with this company

I purchased a [redacted] 5D Mark III with 24-lens I was told it would come with a year warranty from [redacted] and an extended year warranty I did not receive proof of purchase I did not receive the [redacted] Warranty Cards I did not receive the [redacted] year extended warranty
