The complainant purchased a used engine from us on 9/25/and it was shipped out on 10/7/The complainant did agree to the Terms and Conditions of our Free Warranty with their initial purchase of the used engineThe complainant is requesting the VIN number of the engine purchased or a total refundDue to the length of time since the engine was purchased and the time of this response, we are unable to get the complainant the requested information as we no longer have access to itThe complainant is suggesting the engine that was purchased has more miles that was statedPer the Terms and Conditions of our Free Warranty, we due state that the mileage is not guaranteed and is correct to our best knowledgeThe specific sections of the Terms and Conditions state as follows: 14: The stated mileage is not guaranteed and is correct to the best of our knowledgeAll the Terms and Conditions of the Free Warranty are prominently listed here: http://www.swengines.com/warranty.php Due to the length of time between purchase and the current time period, we are unable to supply the complainant with the requested and informationAlso, per the Terms and Conditions of the Free Warranty, no refund is approved of at this time as it was stated that the mileage is correct to the best of our knowledgeWe do hope this closes this matter going forwardPlease let us know if you need any further information from us

The complainant is stating that we are not up front about or warranty Terms and Conditions which is the complete oppositeIt is clearly stated on our website along with the receipt to activate the warrantyWe have a specific page dedicated only to our warranty and its Terms and ConditionsOur Terms and Conditions also state, "EATW will not be responsible for any labor cost incurred by the customer." Each engine comes with its own warranty so even if the first engine had a warranty activated on it, which it did not, the 2nd engine that was received needed to have its warranty activated as well to be compliant within the Terms and Conditions of our Free WarrantyWe hope this closes this matter and any issues going forward

We shipped the complainant their engine and it did not work properlyWe then shipped out the complainant a 2nd engineThe complainant never registered their warranty on the 2nd enginePer line of their Terms and Conditions of our Free Warranty: "10.Engine or transmission must be installed AND warranty activated within business days of delivery OR ALL WARRANTIES WILL BE VOIDFalsifying information will automatically void your warranty." http://www.swengines.com/warranty.phpDue to the complainant not registering the warranty, we will not be able to honor any request prior or future when it comes to warranty claims We hope this closes this matter and any issues going forward

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Mrs [redacted] had ordered an engine from us on December 18, and it was sent to her in a timely manner TrueShe had called us months later to complain about some of the bolt on items and covers were broken but the actual engine itself was not broken Not true I called moments after the engine was delivered I spoke ***.We had asked here where the engine had been for months and what had happened to it because it did not leave our facility like that and we have photos of it to prove it Not true The question was never asked, nor was there any need to ask it The damage was reported immediately, as can be verified by the emails that were included in the complaint. It must have either got damaged while it was in transit Could be trueor while it was in Mrs [redacted] possesion for the monthsNot true The pictures of the damage (also included in the complaint) were taken immediately after delivery of the engine. We had told her if she noticed it was damaged she should have reported it right away, or she could have done a damage claim with the trucking company and they would have reimbursed her, but you can ot open up a damage claim months later after you receive a part you have to do that right awayNot trueNone of this was ever said in any conversation or correspondence The damage WAS reported right away The only thing that happened after three months was that I sent yet another email, which got no reply. However the parts she said were broken were just a front pulley and a timing cover, both items are just bolt on items and are not covered under warranty anyhow, she knew that because she had agreed to the terms and conditions form that stated it True However, in essence, the items were promised but not delivered We paid for not just the engine block, but all the parts that came on it If Engine and Transmission World didn't want to pay for the damaged parts, then they should have filed a claim with the shipper, or instructed us to do so Instead, we were told to submit the invoice to [redacted] at Engine and Transmission World and that we would be reimbursed. Please read the emails and view the pictures if you have any questions about what was actually "said." Thank you Regards, [redacted]

We believe this was just a mix up which we have resolved with the customerThe complaint was filed on 8/22/and we had delivered the product to the customer's shop on 8/14/Since receiving the complaint, we have contacted both the shop and the customerWe were able to get a hold of the complainant and he responded through email with the following: "Called you back left a message motor will be installed this week as soon as I get my core refund I will remove my complaintI was advised by the Revdex.com to complete the entire transaction process firstThank You" We hope this clears up the confusion regarding this matter

Mr [redacted] said he was going to send a cashiers check for a Grand Am engine for $We never got the cashiers check mailed to usThe tracking number he provided said the mail carrier left in mail box but we never got it

The complainant agreed top the Terms and Conditions of the sale before making the purchase, as is required for all potential buyers, which clearly states there is 25% restocking fee when cancelling an order In most cases we will waive this if it has been less than hours since the order is placed and cancelledFurthermore, the complainant has many assumptions as to what exactly happens after the order is placed and when it would be delivered with no real knowledge of the process The 25% restocking will stand as agreed to by the complainant when placing the orderOur actual complaint rate is less than 1% considering the volume of business we do yearly so the reasoning for cancelling the order is less than justified

The complainant purchased a used engine from us on 01/16/and it was shipped out to them on 1/23/The complainant did agree to the Terms and Conditions of our Free Warranty with their initial purchase of the used engineThe complainant is requesting a refund for the additional repairs the complainant had to do on the purchased used engineThe complainant allegedly states that extensive repairs were needed to be madeThose repairs were adjustments to the timing chain cover, new seals on the time chain cover and repairs to the valve coversThe complainant activated their Free Warranty on 03/03/which is outside of the day window to activate the Free WarrantyThe specific sections of the Terms and Conditions state as follows: Engine warranties are limited to manufacturing defects in the block, heads, pistons, crankshafts, camshafts, rockers, and oil pumpsWe do not warranty any attached accessory parts, such as switches, sensors, cables, electronics, belts, hoses, water pumps, manifolds, wire harnesses, valve covers, brackets, flywheel etc Engine or transmission must be installed AND warranty activated within days of delivery OR ALL WARRANTIES WILL VOIDED We do not warranty oil leaks/damage on engines or transmissions due to non replaced seals, gaskets or filtersAll the Terms and Conditions of the Free Warranty are prominently listed here: http://used.remanns.com/warranty.php Due to the fact the complainant did not activate the Free Warranty within the timeframe aloud, all past, current, or future claims would be deniedDue to the fact the Free Warranty was not activated in the timeframe aloud, we are unable to refund the complainant for the repair costWe also want to state that the items the complainant repaired and requested a refund on are not covered under the Free Warranty as wellWe do hope this closes the matter and please let us know if you need any further information from us

The complainant ordered an engine from us on 5/17/and received the engine on 6/5/The complainant is requesting a full refund for the engine purchased for the sum of $($for engine, $for returned engine, and $for parts purchased)The complainant activated their warranty on 6/20/The complainant alleges the engine was not working properlyThe complainant alleges the problems with the engine were: Low compression - every cylinder, Low end knock, No compression stroke, Timing chain has 3/4-inch slack on one side, 1/2inch slack on the other side, No oil or oil residue in the motor, Freeze plug rusted through with the plug in it on driver’s side of engine,All heat shields rusted through, Upper intake plenum gasket is bad, Upper plenum was put on backwards, Valve cover gasket is bad, Engine smokes due to high mileage or broken oil rings, All sensors were broken or missing on motor, Engine has been visibly partially dismantled, pressure washed and painted silver in an attempt to hide any imperfections/indications of wearWe do not see any warranty claims from the complainants in our system at the time of this letterPer the Terms and Conditions of our Free Warranty: Line “Engine or transmission must be installed AND warranty activated within business days of delivery OR ALL WARRANTIES WILL VOIDEDFalsifying information will automatically void your warranty.” Also, per Line of the Terms and Conditions of our Free Warranty “We do not warranty any attached accessory parts, such as switches, sensors, cables, electronics, belts, hoses, water pumps, manifolds, wire harnesses, valve covers, brackets, flywheel etc.” https://www.qualityusedengines.com/warranty.html Since the complainant received the engine on 6/5/and activated the warranty on 6/20/2017, they voided the warranty by not activating it within the day windowThis is stated very clearly on our website and on the receipt the complainant was given and submitted for review due to this issueDue to the fact that the complainant did not activate the warranty in the correct timeframe, all current and future warranty claims will be voidWe hope this closes this matter and any issues going forward

my order and invoice # was [redacted] there is no warranty info to submitmy order was never completed by seller and I canceled the order days after placing it but never got a full refund

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I would invite them to send the recording as they have completely fabricated a lie They of course will not be able to provide that recording as it never happened or will come up with some sort of excuse As I stated, I called them for a status of the order and had left a message asking for an update on the engine dleivery I am very confident that they never shipped the engine since the person (Bill) I spoke with on my 2nd call (since they never called me back) ask if I wanted to re-order the engine Why would I have canceled and why did they ask if I would like to reorder the engine if I just wanted an update?? Again, and I am very sure, they never held up there end of the agreement and shipped the order in the 1st place even though they were very quick to charge me for the engine that they never provided. Also, unlike them, I can provide all the details on when the engine was ordered (5/8/15) SW engines emailed me indicating delivery would be NLT 5/28/ I called to check on the status of the delivery on 6/1/allowing extra time because of memorial day (trying to give them the benefit of the doubt) Why would I call on this date to cancel an order that was promised on 5/28? Again, I can prove this with their email There (so-called) phone log would show that is the date (far past the due date of delivery?) So, for a fact, when the so-called manager (Bill) told me the order was canceled I asked for his supervisor so I could speak with someone else, and that is when Bill told me to [redacted] and hung up on me SW engines has numerous complaints posted all over the internet I wish I would have checked them out before ordering It is my hope that this complaint will prevent others from being ripped off.To make matters worse, now SW engines claims that I swore at them, and that is slander and defamation of character!! What legal course of action can I take in the courts to get justice? Regards, Chuck [redacted]

You have the invoice number here it is again [redacted] The engine was never shippedi paid them $965.00SWEngins told me at the time I paid them for the engine it was in stock with only 70,miles on Twelve days later when I call I was told SWEngins was still looking for an engine for our Volvo.my repair shop here had found an engine I asked SW Engins to cancel my order and refund my $two days later I was refunded $im still owed $I NEVER received the engine and WAS told SW Engines was looking for one AFTER being told when I place the order it was in stock I don't expect to recover my money as I have called a number of times and each time I'm transfured to customer refund I leave amessag and no one called backim sure everyone at SW Engine gets a good laughter when I and others call in asking for a refund.Thsnk You [redacted]
