We could ask that the complainant please provide us with an invoice number as we are having trouble locating their orderThis will allow us to be able to better assist in handling this customers issues and complaint

Mr [redacted] had sent us back an emty transmission shell which is not even ours, he kept our good trans and is driving his vehicleHe is not due a refund becuase he returned a part that was not in the smae condition that it was sent to him, he knew that because it states that on the terms and conditions form that he had signed and agreed to

The picture of the engines are just an example of the what the engine will look like coming from us The Terms and Conditions clearly state there is a 25% restocking fee as stated in our previous reply The complainant is correct when saying the engine shipped it it had of shipped, the customer would be responsible for the shipping fees to and back as well We will consider this matter closed as we have done nothing but follow the instructions of the complainant by cancelling the order and the 25% restocking fee was levied under the Terms and Condition of the sale

I reported this early but I have since found the address used was incorrectID number is [redacted] I just want to make a complaint about them being rude and hanging up on me when trying to get an ETAThen they started to ignore my callsHad to have my mom call since she was the one who used her credit card to purchase the transmissionWhen trying to cancel the order they again were rude refused to cancel the order and refused to issue a refundI have since received emails that state they are still proceeding with the order even after we stated we no longer wanted the transmissionWe cancelled the order before it was ever pulled from stock and are just wanting a refundThere bad attitude makes us feel us easy doing business with the company RefundselectRefund of all money

This is a very old case and we are not able to look into the tracking of the shipment any longer According to our records we never received the item backIn order to settle this case, we will need the complainant to attach/send all proof of where the return was received, customer claims Appleton Recycling, and we will review the case furtherFurthermore, the complaintant claims we sent the wrong engine and this is simply not the case The complainant ordered via the web whichs means a Representative did not place the order for him and therefore we cannot take resposibility here If the complaintant called and inquired about what engine he needed, the Represeantative would of only been able to advise based off the information given at this timePlease provide all documentation and we will review the case further and come to a decision

We already came to an agreement with Mr [redacted] , and the agreement was for him to make both transmissions available for pick up and then we will pick them up and refund himSo far we only have received one transmission back

The complainaint is requesting reimbursment for purchase and installation on a transmission they purchased from usThe complainant had their transmission deleivered on 12/7/to themPer the Terms and Conditions of our Free Warranty: "Transmission cooler lines must be flushed or warranty will be voidTransmission may need to be relearned, reset or flashed by dealer AND may need electronic valve body replaced." & Line 15: "We do not warranty oil leaks/damage on engines or transmissions due to non replaced seals, gaskets or filters." [redacted] Per the invoice given to us by the repair shop, there was no filter replaced and a flush was not performed on the transmissionSince this was not completed their warranty was then in fact voidedWe did ship the complainant a transmission that did fit their vehicle but since they did not follow the Terms and Conditions of the warranty, we had to void their claimWe hope this closes this matter and any issues going forward

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I know that I completed that warranty on line after the work had been doneThe claimed that I should have received a confirmation after submitting my activation information, but I never didAs far as paying extra money for the warranty, technically there was not a separate costs for the warranty, but I paid a good deal of money for the engine because of the warrantyI actually could have purchased an engine here in Maryland for several hundred dollars less without a warranty, but I wanted the insurance just in case of engine failureNow , according to SW engines I do not have anything Regards, [redacted]

The complainant never paid "extra" as claimed as all of our warranties are free Per the Terms and Conditions of the Free Warranty, which all customers must agree to when making the purchase, activation must occur within days of receiving the engine The complainant ordered on 11/12/and received the engine approximately weeks after this date Our system does not show any activation attempts until 5/10/which is well after the day requirement Had the complainant followed the requirements to activate the Free Warranty, we could look inot her claim further and see if the claim is valid However, due to the fact the complainant did not fulfill this requirement, we can no longer review any claims made We do our best to highlight the fact the Free Warranty must be activated as stated in the Terms and Conditions when placing the order as well as placing a predominant link on every invoice We encourage all customers to follow the Terms and Conditions of the Free Warranty to avoid this situation

you are lying , we have a strict policy of selling direct fit partsStop putting blame on someone elseif you told us you had a corvette we woul never sell it to you

Stop lying no one told you that you that you will not be chargedWhat makes you so special that we would change our policy for you? We did everything according to the terms and conditions that you agreed to before you paidTake responsibility for your actions

We have reviewed the complaint of the customer and found the claims invalidThe reason the warranty claim was denied is the customer did not follow the instructions which are clearly and prominently displayed on his online invoice (sales documentation) as well as a bright large yellow engine installation requirement tag which is attached to the engine on delivery The customer did not replace the timing belt as shown which in fact voids the Free Warranty Had the customer followed the instructions, the warranty claim would of been reviewed and decided upon that time Unfortunately, when you do not follow the instructions the Free Warranty is no longer valid These are used engines and require certain procedures to be done to activate the Free Warranty

Mr [redacted] had completly disassembled a perfectly good running used engine and voided his warranty, he also emailed us pictures we can provide them if needed

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I would like to see the vin number of the car this engine came from as I have asked in many of our conversations, if they can provide that information that would be a great help [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] Regards, [redacted]

The complainant is requesting a refund due to an alleged issues with the transmission that was shipped on 9/7/2016. The complainant called on 10/5/16 alleging issues with the first transmission sent on 9/7/2016. The complainant did not register the warranty so per line 10 of the terms and... conditions: Engine or transmission must be installed AND warranty activated within 10 business days of delivery OR ALL WARRANTIES WILL VOIDED. Falsifying information will automatically void your warranty. https://www.swtransmissions.com/warranty.html Even though the warrranty was vioded due to it not being activated within the 10 business day window, we did send the complaintant another transmission as a form of goodwill and good customer service. We also covered the shipping cost which normally is charged as well. We feel we went above and beyond as we did not have to send out a replacement transmission due to the terms and conditions of the warranty but in this instance, we did. This should satisfy this matter and deem it closed.

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response If you wish, you may update it before sending it.] Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Regards, [redacted]

RevDex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below The alternator housing is an integral part of the front engine timing cover and is part of the engine and not a bolt on peripheral I would like them to credit back the cost of replacement for the part and related part to resolve the issue This includes the gaskets and bolts that need to be replaced when disassembling the from engine timing cover This should also include the cost of the guide rail since the mileage on the engine is in question If they agree I will send a parts list and the selected vendor and the costs of said parts Regards, [redacted]

The customer called in on 10/21/to let us know there was an issue with the transmission After asking for the copy of the installation invoice and receiving it, we immediately noticed one of the most important procedures were not followed being the Transmission Filter was not replaced as required Every transmission comes with a tag on it which clearly states what must be done for the warranty to be valid We have attached an image of this tag as an example With all due respect, the customer should be taking this up with his mechanic who did not follow procedure which is often the case

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below We read over the emailed response from the company we have an open complaint onAccording to the email, they are willing to send a third engineWe were originally sent a bad engine, they sent a second one, and acted as if we would collect warranty labor pay after the instillation of the second engine and removal of the first one they soldI find myself wondering why an engine supplier would send a second engine if they do not feel that the first one was bad, and that the labor to put it in would not be reimbursedWe are not willing to install engines for free (a value of around 700.00) until they find one that is goodIf I bought a engine, I would expect these type of problemsWhen I buy a engine, and follow the warranty install parts guideline to the o-ring (which is about in new parts including water pump and all seals and fluids which are required for warranty, according to the paperwork that comes with the engine.), I expect that engine to last somewhat close to the guarantee of years or 36,milesThis car has been at my shop, with a customer waiting for months nowI really wish I hadn't done business with this companyI have already lost in parts and in labor, I refuse to lose any more money by swapping engines at will because I was not given what I was promised at time of purchaseWe are willing to remove their second engine, and they can come get both of them after full reimbursement of engine costRegardless of how this turns out, I will never buy anything from this company and will be sure they haven't just changed their name again(Multiple name changes since 2012) Regards, [redacted] ***
