The Terms and conditions of the Free Warranty clearly state on line 1: Engine warranties are limited to manufacturing defects in the block, heads, pistons, crankshafts, camshafts, rockers, and oil pumpsWe do not warranty any attached accessory parts, such as switches, sensors, cables, electronics, belts, hoses, water pumps, manifolds, wire harnesses, valve covers, brackets, flywheel etc Additionally, on line 15: We do not warranty oil leaks/damage on engines or transmissions due to non-replaced seals, gaskets or filtersThe Terms and Conditions of the Free Warranty must be read and agreed upon before placing the order and is indicated by selecting the text box as confirmation before moving forward and purchasing the part Therefore, the claim was denied based on these Terms and ConditionsWe often see may automotive shops not doing their due diligence before installing a used engine The yellow tag which we have attached to the engine and have attached here clearly states all gaskets should be inspected and replaced, if needed, and specifically states the Rear Main Seal has to be replaced We do not know how much clearer we can be an attempting to make all these points clearWe suggest the complainant pursue this matter with the shop and would be more than happy to assist with this matter if the information provided above does not suffice

The complainant is requesting a full refund of $due to claimed non functional transmissionThe complainant purchased a CVT Transmission which under our warranty is not covered Warranty Limitations: Line 10: CVT transmissions are not eligible for extended parts and labor warrantyDue to this type of transmission purchased it is not covered by the warranty so the claim submitted was deniedComplainant also registered the warranty on day after delivery which puts any claim in void as "Warranty must be activated within business days of delivery OR ALL WARRANTIES WILL VOIDED." https://www.swtransmissions.com/warranty.htmlDue to these two points, the claim was denied based on these Terms and Conditions of the warranty

the complainant requested a letter on company letterhead going over the engine purchased, vin number and their information We emailed the complainant the requested document on 9/22/ at 11:AM CST by the ownerWe would ask that the complainant look in their spam or junk folder for this email and its attachment as it could be located theirIf they are not able to find the email we can look to resend the information to themWe hope this helps the complainant get his title and closes this case

The Throttle Body is one of the items that are not covered under the Free WarrantyWe would ask that the complainant change out the specific parts the alleged were damnaged from their prior engine Per Line of the Terms and Conditions of our Free Warranty when it comes to mileage; "14.The stated mileage is not guaranteed and is correct to the best of our knowledge." We do not guarantee shipping times, nor can we control any delays caused by the shipping company We suggest the complainant call the shipping company and request reimbursement as we cannot assist with this request

We have reviewed the customers complaint and are issuing a full refund in this case due to the mishandling of the Representative on the call However, the engine was to be delivered in the allotted time allowed as we make no guarantees as stated on the site in the FAQs: "On average, pending volume and weather, time for shipping takes approximately 7-business days" In defense of the customer, had the called been handled differently we of most likely seen a different outcomeWe are dealing with the Representative who talked to the customer appropriately as this is not acceptable behavior Once again, we apologize and will consider this complaint resolved

The complainant is requesting a refund as they feel they did not get the engine they saw online and had issues with length of shippingThe image that the complainant is shown during the buying process is only a representation of what the engine would look like for visual purposesThe image they see may or may not be the actual engine that the complainant received in the endIf the complainant is not satisfied with the engine we shipped to them, they are subject to a 25% handling and restocking fees plus customer assumes all shipping costs for returned productsUsual shipping times are about 7-business days but due to some unusual circumstances please allow additional timeIt does at times take longer to prep and get the engine ready for shipmentWe in the end did ship the complainant the engine they purchased and would be looking at the restocking fee and shipping costs if they wanted to get an additional engine as the image online is only a representation and may not the actual engine purchased

When the complainant called in we asked to be sent a diagnostic report as required in all warranty claims The complainant refused and become expressively volatile with the RepresentativeAt this point, the Representative supplied the fax number for which the complainant could send the diagnostic report as required We cannot process a claim based off what a customer is telling us and need actual proof such as a diagnostic report If the complainant decides to take legal action we will certainly respond with the information given here accordingly We regret the complainant was not willing to work with us and provide the documentation required in all claims

Mr [redacted] had ordered a5.4l engine from us back on April 6, for a Ford F-and it was sent out to him in a timely mannerHe had called us to say the engine did not come with spark plugsHowever none of our engines come with spark plugs and neither do we advertise thatWe only sell used engine and recomend that you get new spark plugsOn June 11, he had called to report that the engine had some jb weld on the timing coverTiming covers on a engine are removable and just left on for convenience purposes, if he does not like that timing cover he can use his original timing coverThat is the last we heard from MrYenchekIf he has an actual warranty issue he can submit his claim online or just call the warranty department, he does not have to leave voicemails
