Although I am a sensible and reasonable person, I have also experienced enough negativity from this matter to know that a simple reply, saying that the name will be removed from your database, is not enough. I am not asking for anymore now then when I first submitted my complaint.
1.  I WOULD LIKE CONFIRMATION THAT MY NAME IS PERMENTANTLY REMOVED FROM WHITEPAGES, AS WELL AS FROM ITS AFFILIATES SITES. UPON SAID CONFIRMATION, I WILL HAPPILY ACCEPT RESOLUTION. Understandably, I simply want to know that I do not have to worry late nights about this issue again. If I do not receive said confirmation, I will live in constant fear that eventually, my true address, telephone number, as well as other vital personal information, will be exposed the public, via Whitepages.com.
 
2. I would also like to know that per my initial request, my name has been disassociated with all names in which it has been associated. To remove my name is one thing; however, to list the names of others, and link my name under their search, is also intrusion of my privacy.
 
3. My family members have also been harrased because of the link between our names. I would like to be given a dedicated rep who will work with me to provide the same comfort to my family:  which is knowing that they will not receive threats from random strangers and knocks on the doors of their private address, because their personal information has been exposed on Whitepages.com.  If I knew that their names would not be publicly listed online, I would enclose them within this reply. Please do not feel that sending back your general email address will be sufficient enough.

As stated previously, we are unable to completely remove a URL from our site. Our apologies that we cannot assist further, but since we have already removed all information of yours on our site, there is not further service we can provide. Thank you for contacting Whitepages.

I am rejecting this response because:This is the same canned response about how to remove information manually, which I have done. So now my information is gone again, but this is the seventh time I've had to do this removal process since first noticing my listing in 2014. What I am saying with this complaint to the Revdex.com is that something has to be done about a company that unethically keeps placing personal information back on its website after the person has asked for it to be removed (repeatedly). WhitePages.com will continue to place the privacy-violating information back on its site, and it has nothing to do with new accounts the person is opening. I have not been applying for any credit the past few years, and I really don't open new accounts. What I am saying with this complaint is that this company is being allowed to do business online any way it sees fit, obviously without any kind of governing entity examining how it gets its information, how it stores its information, how it manages its information, how it shares its information. Without any checks in place.

posted that I had two felonies all over the web and I have zero felonies.  Wonder how that has affected my recent job searches?  Meanwhile, My Life sent me all your smut that you released about me.  You need to have that deleted as well.  In two weeks I will perform a search and if info is still there, then you've damaged my reputation.  I've already spoken with someone on how to proceed and I intend to take action.   Your reputation is tarnished. Sincerely,[redacted]

needs to be accountable for not providing a working Customer Service number on their web-site.  Nor, after spending hours trying to find a telephone
number for them, led me to a real person, asking me to leave a voice mail message.  I did this countless times.
 
Also, I had to provide them with my unlisted telephone number, and go through their system in which I was to received an immediate, computerized telephone call.  This happened a great many times, but
I only got the message, "I'm sorry there is an error.  Good Bye".
 
This is not okay, by any means, for a business to conduct itself in this manner.  A business which, ironically is about telephone number and personal information -- yet, cannot be reached.  There is no working Customer Service department.  AND, this then victimizes me, and others, who do not agree to their scandalous business practices and egregious lack of a working system, telephone number, and more.
 
I would like to know what WhitePages will do, to change their protocol.
 
To further that request, I have documented all other similar organizations that provided on their corresponding web-site (about me), an easily accessible and functioning "opt out" opportunity.  The exception is Intelius.
 
I understand that I am not the only person who has complained to WhitePages on social media and otherwise about them.  I have no hesitation to share my experiences with my state senators and with
the Attorney General, and national media to draw attention to this abuse.

Unfortunately we did have to ask her on three separate occasions to send us the information she was requesting to have removed so we were able to find the listing and suppress it from the site. I am sorry to see that Ms. [redacted] is having trouble updating a business listing. I do see that she has contacted us originally on January 5th to update a business listing. Since no information was provided at that time regarding what business she was referring to, just, "the phone number that you...

have listed for our company is incorrect. How do I get this fixed?", we did send back a generic set of instructions. We have many different business listings on our site and there was no way for us to know which one she was referring to. Once Ms. [redacted] responded back with the information regarding her specific business, we then referred her to Yext as well as InfoGroup (The two providers of this listing).
She let us know that the changes she made with the two businesses did not work and we responded letting her know that we would look into the situation further. I am not sure why the changes she made with Yext are not reflected on the site and again, we let her know we were looking into the situation further to find out what is happening. She was informed of this yesterday at 8:57AM and at this time, we unfortunately still do not have this resolved.

Our apologies, but at this time we are unable to email out to our users. However, I have located the account in question, cancelled your membership, and refunded the 29.95 that was charged. That refund will be returned within 72 hours. Please let us know if you have further questions.

Looking over our records, we don't see that we have any remaining listings for the data removal requested. If you are still seeing something on our site, please send a link or screenshot so that we can handle that removal accordingly.

I am sorry, but the screen shot that was provided is not working on my end. I am unable to see where it is that you are finding this information. I have searched Whitepages.com (which is what was referenced in the complaint) and not seeing any information for [redacted]. Can you please provide more information as to where the incorrect information is being listed?
 
In regards to the address [redacted] Houston, TX I have gone ahead and removed the listings [redacted] as well as [redacted].
 
Once more information is being provided by the phone number we would be happy to further assist.

I do see that we received 3 emails from Ms. [redacted] on February 29th, 2016 requesting for removal of her information. In each of the three emails, Ms. [redacted] provided us with a URL for another website that we are not affiliated with (www.yellowpages.com/[redacted] We are unable to...

These are the URLs about the name I want removed.  They are about [redacted]. [redacted] and there are no other [redacted]'s alive.  There is a reference to [redacted] which should be [redacted]. [redacted] who is my father (this [redacted] has opted-out).  I am not related to [redacted] or [redacted].[redacted]. The URL about the origin of my name seems to be removed for now.  I have seen it disappear and return. I have opted-out of myancestry.com so that my credit card should not be on this URL anymore. I did not ask to have [redacted] (my new legal name) added or removed that is why I am refusing the response.  Tommy at whitepages.com has sent my emails back to me, and has stated he would remove the information I was requesting. I will send these URLs to him. If your response had stated we will remove the [redacted] URLs and the [redacted] relationship, I would have accepted your response.
