Dear Sir/Madam,
I think we're at a fundamental disconnect. Consider an analogy: someone ("[redacted]") tells me your address and I make a poster with that information, and place that poster in my front yard for everyone to see. You, understandably, come to me and ask me to respect your privacy and remove the poster. I claim that I cannot do so until you speak with [redacted], and get [redacted] to come to me and tell me to take the poster down. Does that seem logical to you? Wouldn't you feel frustrated if that is the recourse I offered you?
I don't see how my current position is any different. Your website is under your control. It is your front yard. I exhort you to be a decent citizen and take down the poster.
