Review: Company began calling my DO NOT CALL listed cell phone illegally spoofing the caller ID to solicit for their scam services. It is clear the Revdex.com once again sold an A+ rating to a scam company because they paid you dues. This is why the Revdex.com has the reputation it does. Pay to play, right? This company is a known scam and a menaceDesired Settlement: IMMEDIATE removal of my info from their database and a CEASE AND DESIST of ALL further communications

Review: I received a call from A Yodle representative asking about us giving them a 90 day trial period. I was informed by the sales representative that it would be 90 days and I would be contacted before I was billed any further monies. I agreed and paid the 90 days in advance. However I was never contacted about continuing my services with Yodle. They just billed me another $1149 without discussing it. When I contacted them and asked to speak to the sales representative I was told he was no longer with the company. I told Yodle the sales representative said I would be called before continuing the service and they informed me that this was not their policy. I ask that they go back and review the recorded calls and they would see that was exactly what I was told. They would not do so. They refer you to all the written information that is NEVER discussed when they are trying to obtain your business. This is not a pleasant company to deal with. On top of it all, I did not receive one positive lead in three months.Desired Settlement: It is simple, Yodle needs to review the recorded phone calls and refund me my money for October.

Review: I am a new business interested in SEO. Yodle rep gave an extremely hard sell and made promises of spectacular results. After I agreed to a 3 month trial a web optimizer called. I knew immediately that I had been ripped off. She did not communicate well in English so I was concerned that she would not understand the nuance of what I was explaining to her. At one point she actually laughed at me for saying that I valued the privacy of clients. The web site generated by the call is an insult to literate people; written at about the 4th grade level and missing any sort of serious personalization--all generic, cookie cutter language.Desired Settlement: I want to stop any further charges to my credit card. I agree to the one month charge because it is my fault that I agreed to their terms without asking to see a website first--my bad. And I want others to know that this is a rip off plain and simple.

Sincerely,

Review: Yodle called me and sold me on their presentation of the online marketing campaign they stated would generate 15 to 30 calls a month. Not one call that wasn't a wrong number in 3 months was the result.

They put my home address as my business location so it showed up on the maps, only after your search an obscure term, this was damaging my online presence and reputation, they high jacked my brand by putting their phone number as my company number and listing it on several other sites like [redacted] and [redacted], damaging my online presence. Yodle promised I would rank high with certain "key words", what they wouldn't tell me until I found out after I paid them is their "key words" they had me under were ridiculous and no one searches or types in those words in a search engine. So in essence they can say "look, your on the first page" but in reality no real traffic came my way as a result. The whole experience has been a nightmare and I feel stupid for falling for it, if only I would of done 1 minute of research, the internet is littered with complaints that are the same as mine. What sold me was when they said they are "partnered with [redacted]" and they could get me listed on their Maps, the only thing was the search term was so nonsensical that I cannot think of anyone who would put that term in. Again not one call, I take that back, someone did call, they called the fake number Yodle gave me and when I answered no one was on the other line, I went into the portal and called the number back, it turned out to be a wrong number, the gentleman said it rang for a while, apparently their phone transfer system needs work as well, I was just so happy to hear a live person so I guess I should be thankful. $1,497.00 for 1 person calling that turned out to be a wrong number is obviously not what was represented to me.Desired Settlement: Give me back $1497.00 I paid them

Response:

Dear Revdex.com,

Review: We had received a call from Yodle and set up a time to speak to the salesman. During the phone conversation we told him that we where currently running our own Google Adwords complain and he said that would not be a problem that yodle would be doing their own campaign and we could continue doing what we where doing that there would be no problem. We agreed to the product and they debited $999.00. Then that Monday we talked to our account manager who then told us to click the accept on our account and then we could go over everything with the account. So we did. Within the first 5 minutes she told us we would have to cancel our adwords campaign and our google maps and let them run the campaigns. For our business that is unacceptable and that is what I told her. Also the numbers she presented where way off compared to the numbers [redacted] had given us. So this made us even more uneasy with everything and we expressed that. She told us that she would try to get ahold of [redacted] to see what was said and she would get back to us. WE called her the next day because we had heard nothing from her. She stated that she couldn't get ahold of [redacted] and that she also couldn't find the recording of the conversation which every conversation from what he told us is recorded to make sure there is no deception. It also states that all conversations will be recorded. So ours conveniently was not. So she said she would set up a conference call with [redacted] for Thursday. As my wife and I discussed it we decided we did not want to do business with a company like this and that there was a lack of organization and what seemed to be honesty. So we called [redacted]'s number and [redacted] answered. We explained to her the whole situation and she told us that [redacted] was on a call and that she would have her call us. [redacted] called us Wednesday night while we where with patients so our desk worker told him to just call tomorrow at 10. Today [redacted] called and talked to me. He delivered the same sales pitch all over again. As I voiced my concern with us having to cancel our adwords campaign because we are getting ready to ramp up our advertisement for our book, lectures, webinars,etc... he stated that he did not realize that was our intentions but still it should not change anything. We are in a contract with them and that we are obligated for 3 months. When I told him we where under the impression as he said that we would be able to run our advertising etc.. on our end with no issues and if he would of told us that on Friday we would of never agreed to it and we would of moved on. He said well now we have agreed to 3 months with them. I explained that we too are a Revdex.com accredited business and that being said the way you used the Revdex.com and then did not deliver all of the information when we told you that we where running our ad campaign that was not part of the Revdex.com ethics and that we just needed to cut ties, they give us a refund, and we all move on. He said we can not do a refund because of the contract. I told him that the contract should be void since it is between two parties and they did not live up to their end of being straight forward with everything and that being a Revdex.com accredited business they are supposed to be. This run around went on for just short of an hour. I finally had to tell him I have a business to run and that this conversation was going nowhere so just email or something but that I do not want to do business with one like Yodle and that I was getting very mad and I needed to go. We then hung up.Desired Settlement: I would like the contract voided since it was not laid out properly and our money refunded.

Dear Revdex.com,

Review: I am a small business owner just starting a new business. I built my own website and was working my way on getting on the search engines to get noticed when I received a phone call from a sales rep from Yodle. I was promised they were the professionals to drive sales to my website. They had marketing people that were the best in their field that could make my small company show up on local searches. After buying into the scam I gave my credit card number to pay for three months trial of 1647.00. They recorded only the last part of our conversation for me to agree to the terms. One month later I called and complained how the service is not working. I was not getting any calls; I am not getting any hits to my website that I built. I expressed that I do not find a value in the service and will not be renewing after the 90 days. They back tracked and tried to make changes to their website they built and said they will make changes to where the posts are and when. They even changed the name of my company on the websites they built because they said it confused people. I was not to worry because they will call my number. I called again to tell them that all I am getting is hang up calls and people searching for hospitals. The changes they made did not work and I am not happy with the service. It is a complete waste of time and money I will not be renewing. They stated it was my phone tree (system) that is confusing this is why people are hanging up. At that point I came to the realization that I lost the 1647.00 and use it as a learning experience. 95 days later from the first phone call I have a charge to my AMEX for 549.00 from Yodle. I called and talk to their customer service who in turn patch me through to the highest manager available to help me with my dispute. He stated he needs to go back and listen to all the calls to verify I stated I wanted to no long extend my service. He called me back only to tell me that they have one recording of when I agreed to the terms and could see where I called in to tell them this is not working and is a waste of money. But for some reason there are only notes and it is not recorded. The person who put the notes in never put in that I no longer wanted the service after the 90 days. He stated he cannot refund the money and that I have now OFFICALLY ended the contract so I won't be billed again! Do not use this company, it is smoke and mirrors! He stated I will not get my money back and for me to have a great day. I wonder how many small business owners they have preyed on. Please consider a local college student to help you before you use Yodle.Desired Settlement: I still disputing through AMEX

Review: On August [redacted] I contracted with Yodle for them to provide me with internet advertising. September [redacted] I contacted Yodle and told them that it was not working out, that the service was not working. I spoke with [redacted] and she stated that they would fix the system, there was an error, and I would be provided with excellent service. So I gave it another try. By October [redacted], with little to no results I tried to cancel my services with Yodle I called but was put on hold for so long that I left a message. Then on October [redacted], 2013, after not receiving any call from the company, I finally emailed the cancellation of services with Yodle. They were unable to fulfill what they had promised to provide me.

On October [redacted], 2013, they tried to pull the payment from my bank account. I contacted them. [redacted] contacted me and finally the service was cancelled and I was sent an email that they would not continue to try to access my account. On November [redacted], 2013, the company tried again to access my bank account for payment. November *, 2013, [redacted] sent me an email stating that this would not happen again.

Today, November [redacted], 2013, they have again tried to access my bank account. I need for them to stop.Desired Settlement: I need a letter from them that they will stop trying to access my bank account, that the service has been cancelled and I do not need to put another stop payment on my account

Dear Revdex.com,

Review: I signed up for Yodle's advertising services for my company [redacted] where I am an employee. I was told by my Salesperson that for $1249 per month, I would receive 20-30 leads per month. He assured me that they were experts in Internet Marketing and advertising for my business and that these numbers were based on current campaigns, in my business. These were facts that were presented and I could expect to see these results at the very least. 2 weeks after I signed up and paid $1249 for my first months campaign, I was informed that I was to receive 20-30 leads total over a 3 month term. This was quite a bit different than what I was expecting and I discussed this with [redacted] of the Phoenix office, who was my account manager. I didn't know what to do at this point since I was already committed and didn't think there was a way out of this since it had already been 2 weeks and I had committed for 3 months.

The end of month one I received one phone call though it was a wrong number and Yodle's internal system showed 2 leads for that month. I spoke again with [redacted] at month end who informed me that my budget for my [redacted] campaign was $1000 and for that month I had only used $200 so my balance was $800 remaining. He assured me this was good for the fact that I would essentially have $1800 in [redacted] funds to use for the following month. He also informed me that much of the results would be seen in the following 2 months. Once again I trusted him since he was an expert at this and this was typical for campaigns that others in my industry were experiencing. I went ahead and made a second payment of $1249 a few days later.

By the end of month 2 I received 1 phone call and a total of 2 leads. At this point I wasn't going to invest more money into a campaign that clearly wasn't producing results. When I spoke the billing department she informed me that my account spending was very low and had spent the same amount as the previous month $200. In total there was now $1600 of my money that hadn't been used for the [redacted] campaign. I told her that I could not continue and that I was disappointed as I had very high hopes for this campaign. She said she understood and I asked for a refund of one of the 2 payments of $1249. She said they wouldn't issue refunds but would use the rest of my funds to continue the campaign for the 3rd month.

I never received a phone call or any leads the 3rd month and I filed a dispute with my bank on one of the two charges of $1249. In providing documentation for my bank, I came to realize that nothing that was sold to me was in writing. I never even received in writing a copy of the terms and conditions. This was done over the phone and on a computer screen and was done in a very quick manor. I never even received a copy of this. I had put all my trust into the fact that this was a very solid reputable company. I should have been much more careful since everything I was told was not brought up in the recorded phone conversation.

All in all I didn't even receive 1% of what I was promised. I was flat out lied to by my salesperson. I am only looking for 50% of the funds I paid to be returned to me seeing that I should have been more careful and done my own due diligence before agreeing to this deal. I realize there were some expenses incurred on the part of Yodle and I'm trying to be fair and reasonable here. Im not even asking for the proceeds that were remaining in my [redacted] account balance at the end of month 2. I'm simply asking for $1249 of the $2448 that was spent and delivered $0 revenue to me. I am fine taking half the blame in a situation where I assumed that what was being presented to me was true. If the people at Yodle don't see this as being fair then so be it. But using these kind of sales tactics is unethical and wrong. This is not the way to run a businessDesired Settlement: I would like to have 50% of what I paid refunded to me $1249.

Dear Revdex.com,

Caller identified himself as Tim C[redacted] and was very pushy about speaking to the doctor. Would not immediately say that he was from Yodle until asked several times what company he was with and what he was calling about. Yodle rep said he was with their health division and pretended to know the doctor personally. After searching online, found that this is an online marketing service that is well-known for scams and unwelcome solicitations.

Review: We began using Yodle for Internet Marketing on May **, 2013. We paid $2996.51 with a credit cardfor the first month of service and design of a mobile web page. After the service began, we carefully montiored the results and found them to be unsatisfactory. More than 50% of the calls that we received that Yodle claimed were the result of their efforts were telemarketers or existing clients. Yodle was notified that of our dissatisfaction and advised that we were cancelling the service on June **, 2013. Yodle continued to attempt to bill our credit card on at least six occasions after they were notified of cancellation. They were not able to process the card on these occasions as the amount that they tried to charge was greater than our daily charge limit. They then began charging random amounts and were able to process charges of $249.51 on July **, 2013. When that charge posted to our account, an email was sent on July **, 2013 advising Yodle that they had charged our credit card without authorization and any further charges to the card would be reported to appropriate authorities. A charge of $1000 was posted on July **, 2013. On July **, 2013 we received an email from Yodle stating "Your current product plan has been deactivated. Moving forward, you will continue with the Yodle Web plan. The Yodle Web plan costs $49.00/month. Your account funds have been reconciled and your balance will automatically be applied to the Yodle Web plan. The balance will credit 19 months of service, and then your account will be deactivated and you will not be billed again." We have no interest in a montly Yodle Web plan.Desired Settlement: We have no interest in any products or services from Yodle. We desire that the two unauthorized charges of $249.51 and $1000.00 be credited to our credit card account or a refund check in this amount be issued immediately.

Response:

Dear Revdex.com-

Review: My service with Yodle has been and continues to be very unsatisfactory. I have expressed this with Yodle and I always get the run around. I am fed up with trying to work this out with them as this process of requesting cancellation began the last few weeks of December.

Yodle set me up for 40 leads a month for $649/month and talked a convincing talk about how it will pay for itself in no time. With the 2 months that I have had Yodle doing my internet marketing I have had nothing BUT a headache. I have only gotten 25 leads -- period and the majority of them were existing customers and wrong numbers. Not one call resulted in a service call or any profitability at all. If it had I would be writing a stellar review for them instead of filing a complaint.

Yodle claims to have my business on search engines and that they have been doing all of this behind the scenes work and I think that they are being dishonest. If I was all over the internet I would be getting calls. I would get emails. I would have work to do that came directly from Yodle and I do not. In all actuality they can say anything and expect people to believe it.

I have requested that Yodle remove whatever sites they have created to advertise my business name. #1 they are not advertising my business name at all. My business if Faithful Comfort and they are advertising "[redacted]" or something like that. My customers or any homeowner is not going to click on some generic name like that. I know that I wouldn't. I was promised that my business would appear on major search engines like [redacted] and [redacted] but it is not. It is there own generic site that they made up that doesnt even show my business name in the search results.

I have made several phone calls and emails to Yodle to try to cancel my account with them and to get my money back. Last month I was told, "you don't want to do that because it will result in additional fees" which were several hundreds of dollars. Now here I am $1,300 out and I still have not been able to get the account cancelled or get any type of a refund! Plus I was told that they had to review my account with a fine tooth comb and they dont just give out refunds.

I have never been more unsatisfied with ANY company. I asked the manager if they have any sort of customer satisfaction guarantee and of course I was put on hold so he could talk to another person. Yodle wants your money and they are not concerned at all with your happiness in the quality of their services or lack there of. They are full of empty promises and they have an obstacle course of hoops and delays to prolong even the simplest of requests.

[redacted]Do not fall for it! Do not use Yodle, No matter what they promise you![redacted]Desired Settlement: I want a refund of the total amount that I have paid Yodle. I also want all of the things they have put on the internet with my business name on it removed immediately.

Thank you Yodle!

Great customer service..reliable and want to serve their customers

Review: We are an insurance agency. We started a contract with Yodle on 6/**/2015 and were promised results. We paid $4,497 upfront for 3 months of targetted ads and SEO management to grow incoming business. Almost all of the leads we have received have been bogus. The majority of the leads have been our own customers or calls for claims for companies that we don't even work with. The calls are being routed through a secondary number (forwarded to our main number) that we didn't even know Yodle was going to purchase for us, or that was even part of the process. They were not at all clear about explaining the billing. We understood that the majority of our Yodle bill was for SEO management when it turns out that the majority of our bill is being dedicated to these "ads," which we don't even really want and never really wanted, we were just looking for SEO management. When we started making complaints and asking for refunds, we were put in contact with a manager, Rhianna, who keeps telling us she will call us and then never does. We have been waiting for two weeks for a response from Yodle while our agency gets flooded with calls that do us no good.Desired Settlement: Money refunded, contract terminated, and ownership of [redacted] & ###-###-#### relinquished so that business cannot be stolen from us.

Review: I own a remodeling company just outside of [redacted]. I have had more traffic from handling my own SEO and that includes in our opening month. Services that were originally promised we not there. Multiple errors in short time I was with them. Most of which were never resolved. They are confusing my potential clients. I am trying to cancel and guess what? Can't cancel without being charged that fake money they waved. They are refusing to take the site down or discontinue using my name. I have also contacted the businesses attorney regarding this matter.Desired Settlement: I would like my services to be cancelled and for yodle to not attempt to collect any more funds from me.

For compensation of loss of clients, client confusion, and refusal to cancel without charge I would like to me refunded for three months of service.

Review: High pressure sales without results. Failure to achieve promised results in internet marketing. Paid in advance for set up of account. Monthly payments of $200.00 to improve internet traffic without results. Our account manager was insensitive to the lack of promised progress. More than $1100.00 invested but with a small $150.00 billing adjustment for their deceptive practices.Desired Settlement: Our initial set up cost was justified as they did provide a minimum internet presence. But the failure of the account manager to respond to our needs as promised warrants a full refund of the monthly charges totaling $600.00. They did provide a $150.00 refund therefore we seek the $450.00 balance.

Review: In on August **, 2013 I agreed to use yodle.com to create a web page for Tecumseh painting LLC. until November **,2013 for a three month trail at $387.00 .They where to set up a web page that increased business. we kept checking the site and nothing had been done but a standard site that could have been anything .received an e- mail 11/*/ 2013 about them receiving Bing number. on 11/**/ 2013 received another email telling us changes had been made to web page. I checked no changes and still not even one customer. Called before 11/[redacted]2013 and informed them wanted so called service cancelled. received a $ 129.00 charge on my credit card from Yodle inc. called Yodel immediately was told I never called then. told I did not confirm that I wanted it cancelled, so they continued service .Told them to cancel NOW, Yodle said there would no more charges would be seen. Then received a call from yodle asking how I liked my service in late December thought this odd called yodle again They once again claimed I never called and that I had never cancelled the service ,so once again told them to cancel and this time want a confirmation sent to e-mail address. told once again they would do this and I would receive no more bills. received e-mail confirmation a week later on 1/*/2014. then on 1/**/2014 received another $129.00 charge on card. called yodel was told I never cancelled until 1/**/2014 I was livid called charge card for a dispute and to have them blocked from my card. and called Revdex.com to report them .since its the only way to get them to stop billing me for a service I cancelled 3 times and can't get them to go away.think other companies should be warned of there underhanded practice.Desired Settlement: want refunded at least the 12/**/2013 charge and for them to never bill or call or Email us again.
