If you do not want to use you week in your use year you can get a reimbursement of $of the maintenance fees you paid for the use yearI see that your first year use is set for 2017, so if you want to place it into the maintenance fee reimbursement program, you will need to call customer service in November of this year and tell them to do so
You have unlimited weeks that you may purchase and travel as often as you wishthe Summerwinds travel and Interval international both offer extra weeks for purchase and not all of them are Hot weeksII has weeks listed up to a year in advance
Again we will not cancel or refund this contract based on this complaint

I have reviewed the complaint and the letter that was sent to the sales department back in January of this year and findThe purchase was made for an even year contractIn the letter from January they stat the first price show to
them was *** and they did not want an annual contract, so the new offer was made for an even year contract at the price of *** and they took the offer for the bi annual use
In the letter from January the concerns listed where
The timeshare was described as an investmentIt is an investment, in your future vacations and the savings you will receive on travel within the programItem # of the purchaser Acknowledgment states this is not an investment and is for personal use
The meeting would last approximately minutesThe information sent to them stats a minimum of minutes, and if a purchase is made it will take longer
They were told of the ability to rent out the unitWe offer a rental program for our owners and we do all the workThe owner inform us that they wish to rent the unit our for the use yearIn order to do this all maintenance fees must be paid and the account up to dateThis was not possible for the ***'s as they to date have not paid the maintenance fees
They sate they were not informed that a line of credit was being opened for themI have acknowledgments of authorization to apply for credit on both Mr& Mrs*** items where initialed and then signed and datedWe can provide copy of the documents
They were not advised of the even year use of the programAgain the first offer was declined and the new offer for half of the price was made as a biannual and they acceptedThe contract clearly states in places that it is a even year use contractCopies con be provided
They state that a copy of the contract was not given to them at the time of sale, We are not perfect, but I can say that everyone gets a copy of the contract at the time of sale and it is placed in the binder that they take home with themIn my years with Summer Winds we have only had one person state they didn't receive a copyThe copy of the contract was sent to them in November and no cancel letter or any concerns were sent to us until late January
At this time if the ***'s wish to have the unit rented for this year, they may call customer service and get the outstanding maintenance fees paid and we can try to rent the unit in December for them or they can make a reservations and come to Stormy PointCustomer service can be contacted at X-XXX-XXX-XXXX
At this time the unit is paid in full and if the ***'s wish to sell the unit, they can look on line and find a timeshare resale agent and have the unit listed for sale to recoup the cost of the purchase

Please excuse our delay in response, it seems our alerts from the Revdex.com and others have been going to a spam folder and we have just been made aware of these emails and noticesYou seem to have a few of your details mixed up in reference to our Revdex.com complaint, please allow this email to serve as our response in an effort to find a solution to this situation
In our first and initial letter to your resort in January, it was never written as you have it listed in the Revdex.com replyIn our letter we never said we did not want an annual contract, our letter and Revdex.com complaint stated "We advised her that we did not feel we had room in our budget for the monthly payments she was quoting on the *** purchasedShe called *** back over so we could explain to him our concerns with the costHe listened to what we had to say, disappeared for approximately ten minutes, and returned with information on a property he said had just come back on the market for *** with a monthly payment of *** There was never any mention of this being for "even years"This in its self is a deception because, as we know now they don't take properties back
The investment we were being told of is not the investment you have outlined in your reply to the Revdex.com Mr*** We were promised it was a financial investment that would be profitable and beneficial not made to believe it was just an investment into our vacation and travel wantsAgain we were not given a chance to review the documents or contract contents as we should haveWe faced high pressure sales and "the deal" they made pushed at us with little time to think about itThere was a lot of communication during this time that was written down on paper, what I would call scratch paperWhen we asked for copies of these notes, we were denied immediatelyIt is amazing that with all the complaints online about your company and the shady business tactics used, this company stays in businessI guess it is up to consumers like us to continue to push for the corrective measures to be taken and not give up as so many have
To think we were under the impression we were getting involved with a reputable company with benefits that would allow us many years of enjoymentLittle did we know what a deceptive company we were getting involved with and what type of people we were actually dealing withWe trusted your agents and what they told to us, we were assured that everything was just as it had been discussed and we were encouraged to enjoy the rest of our vacation and review the materials when we returned home, there was "no rush", however there wasWe were never informed of a recession period and we know why we were told to enjoy our stay and no rush on the information, they knew as well as us, once we saw the actual details and what was entailed, this would have been immediately returned and our money demanded backWhen we finally did receive the full package it was November and far past any recession period however we called anyways since we saw the information located within the contract was nothing to what we had actually agreed to
Our contract documents were deliberately withheld, not only to prevent us from knowing of the restrictions in usage, but also to prevent us from finding out we could cancel the contract within five daysWe were misled and deceived through the entire process and we will not be added to your long list of disappointed victimsWe need this matter handled and expect your full attention and cooperation before we are forced to take our complaints further

VSI is a listing agent, we have no control over them and the resale disclosure states we have no control over them, and if the unit is not sold the buyer is not entitled to a refund from Summerwinds Resorts
The listing was good for one year and has expiredAgain we will be happy to have the unit relisted at no cost
The first item on the purchasers acknowledgment states the contract is for even years this was initialed by them at the closing
Yes owners can use the resort as soon as the contract is closedIn most cases days
Yes we do offer a first right of refusal, once the property is sold out we may buy some units backWe are still building units at Stormy Point, so we are not sold out yet
Summerwinds Travel has over weeks listed for $& $every week, the inventory changes every Monday night
The reservation for this year is set for June 6, so the check for the reimbursement will be sent out days after that date
It is hard to understand hold it can be said this was a bold face lie, when you agreed to the contract and had days to review the contract and ask questions or cancel if you did not agree with the terms of the contract
I have enclosed a copy of the resale disclosure and the purchasers acknowledgment
Again we will be happy to relist the other unit until it is sold at no cost, we will not cancel and refund a contract from for the lack of resale

and have the unit listed and sold
The ownership will end upon your passing, unless you place it into a trust or a willWe do not go after family members to take over the ownership unless it was given to them

We received your letter and I want to what happened with Stormy PointEarly march I received a telephone call from the guy who sold us down the river.*** *** in which he has been in Florida for the winter and he left us a message on our caller ID, and informed me that he was on vacation and not work so he would not or call meHe got back around early March? A very chew as my person as if I should know where he is all the time? At the end of the message he neglected to hang up the receiver and he and the other manager were talking about us being the dumb *** about who assigned us to the time share and what ive asked if for shure that ive missed the return dead line to cancel?? *** did not learn until Novsometime in Dec.? *** was here but he would not respond to my callsThey were even glad that we did not get to cancelI have recorded their conversations about us like we were a good catch I did not appreciate the way and what they called us not them knowing we heard them and their conversationsI have it on a recorder of our voice mail on the telephoneI called them and told them the next time to hang up before they tear and talk about us in such a foul way!! I do believe it schocked them and they(***) got very upset and informed him I was going to pass it on if needed soHe got into a very upset moodI believe I will send this letter to the Attorney General (*** *** I am so upset with those folks at storm point or south wind Or whatever!!! We want nothing to do with those folksI have sent these books back to them and have not called there office other than we do not apperecate the foul deception of us they called us and left us their foul message on our caller id telephone message!!

The fees are that are due every three years are Maintenance fees that also include taxes and other items, with Mr*** being a timeshare owner he had to understand that he would have a maintenance fee with his purchase
Our owners can exchange the week and travel all over the world, and yes we do pay the exchange fees for our ownersWe paid the first year of the membership and after that the owners must keep the account current if they wish to do so
With this purchase not even being days, it is hard to understand how anything can be wrong, as they have not even been put into the system and have not been able to explore the remaining portions of the programWe will not cancel this contract based on this complaintCustomer service is always willing to help our owners with any questions just by calling *** anytime

First off, the sales agent told us a broker would contact us to sell our other time shareAnd yes this was offered at point of sale which was the beginning of May, so yes your sales agent has offered this recently!
Second we were told there would be absolutely NO maintenance fees, we should not be expected to "understand" something if your sales agent is telling us something completely differentWe were told the fee of $was a set fee every three years and only for taxes on the property
Third, the exchange is only for the year you have a week, we were told we had a week every year but come to find out we only have a week every three yearsSo NO we can not exchange anywhere around the world every year because again your sales agent lied to us! And we were told that summer winds would pay Forever the Platinum package through Interval International we would never have to pay for that againAgain another LIE!
And yes this purchase is not days old yet, but we realized early on all the lies we were toldWhich is why we have posted this complaint and have asked to cancel this contractSo yes there are many things "wrong" with this contractAnd as I explained to you in an email ans formally signed letter Mr*** we would like this cancelled and be reimbursed for the deposit we paid, because this contract was deceptive and we are not receiving what we were told in our presentation we were purchasing
This company is taking part in unlawful practises according to Missouri law and we do not want any part of this and are forewarning those who are considering purchasing with you not to do soThis company is manipulative and promise so many things that are all lies

This purchase was made in 2009,at that time we were selling Yellow time and Red time, with Red being Prime time and Yellow being off season in the first weeks of the yearThe contract purchased was for yellow timeMrs***
has banked her weeks in the past and use them in exchangeOnce a week is banked you do not have any color applied to it
If an owner wants to travel back to the home resort, the reservation must be within the first weeks of the year, or they can pay an upgrade fee of $to set a date outside the yellow season within days from the arrival
The only way to avoid the fee is to bank the week with Interval International and do an exchange, we will pay the exchange fees for the owner
The reservation for was set by a new agent that was not aware of the season and it was done by mistake and Mrs*** was contact and informed of the err
Mrs*** *** contact the customer service department to bank her week or set a date for the first week of the year I at Stormy Point

11/27/ Well, we have been in a Travel Club for years and have always had a good experience with itWhen we went to a Summerwinds sales meeting in 2015, they asked if anyone was a member of a Travel Club and they told us what they had to offer was an upgrade to the Travel ClubI thought I was getting a time share but got suckered into getting a partial (use it every years; a Triennial) and paid $10,for it (plus we pay maintenance fees of about $every years (due by January of the year we get to use it)When we signed up in September (I believe it was) we wanted to use the promised stay, if we signed up then, during Christmas time of for our 51st anniversaryWhen we asked for that after getting the paperwork back, they said it was too late, but, that was because it took them until the first of December to get us back the paperwork. We did stay there this year in the end of April/first of MayThey pulled us into a meeting with rude and pushy salespersons who tried to get us to upgrade to a full timeshare (every year)They showed us something at *** ***I told him I wanted to think about itHe said if do not upgrade to a full, all we can do is give you 1/of your money backThey of course are now denying there was a promise to give us back 1/of our money. I would like to get all of our money back, but, I would be happy with 1/2, $5000.00. I made a HUGE mistake in believing what was verbally presented to me and should have taken all the documents to be reviewed by an attorney before signing
