Review: upon signing up to zbiddy.com, I was surprised that the site automatically charged by debit card $99. This was never clearly stated on the website and I never new this would happen. I was very upset to learn that the website scammed me out of $99. I have sent 4 emails with no response. The phone number goes nowhere. This website is deceptive and cheats its costumers.Desired Settlement: refund of $99.00

Review: I want a refund of $99.00 I was charged without my approval or my knowledge.

On Jan. 14, 2014 I came across a bidding website called hotcloseouts2014.com I thought it was free registration so I wanted to check it out. The web page said I would get 25 free bids for registering so I did. They asked for credit card info to complete registration. I thought it was in case I bought something. I entered my boyfriend's card information and it was instantly charged $99.00 without my knowledge it would do so. I have read their terms of service agreement and it states in clause 3 paragraph 4 that they will refund first time bid packages to first time users if a refund is requested within 7 days of purchase. I requested a refund within 9 minutes of the charge. I have also requested a refund several times a day every day since then and have received no response. I have put the clause from their terms of service agreement into my emailed refund requests also. My boyfriend nor I had any idea they would charge the card and after doing some research I found out they also go by zbiddy.com and have many complaints reported to the Revdex.com of the same nature. It seems the complaints get resolved with a refund, which I want, it is hard to believe they still do this to people, just under a different name.Desired Settlement: My full refund of $99.00

Review: Went to look and register for free on hotcloseouts2013.com/zbiddy.com. Upon entering my personal information I was asked for a credit card number, to my knowledge this was needed to be on file for verification purposes. Then after proceeding I was not aware of or was it ever an option to order bids. So I was charged $99 for 200 bids, but there are different amount of bids that may be purchased according to their Terms of Service. Their Terms also state that bids are non-refundable EXCEPT on your first purchase and if you request it within 7 days. This unknowingly was my first purchase. I have since emailed them and requested a refund several times with no response. All this began on 1-5-14 and as of this complaint its 1-9-14, so I am within the 7 days of being able to receive a refund. The website says it offers a live chat for customer service but no way to do this. Also no place to request the refund.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of my $99. I want them to also update their website so that when a person is looking at their site that the information is not misinterpreted. So that it is clearly on there and ALL options are given and a person may select what options they want.

Review: I received an email from buylowauctions.org and seeing the various items on auction, I "registered" to bid. There was no information at all concerning any costs or charges associated with the registration. Once I completed the registration, it informed me that it is charging me $99.00 for the registration and to bid on merchandise. I immediately checked my bank account and see that the $99.00 charge is pending already. I contacted my bank to dispute the charges. They informed me that the charge will not clear until Monday 12/30/13 and advised me to call them on Monday to continue with the dispute. They said that it will take 10 days for them to return my funds. This company is a scam. Why are they allowed to continue to send emails and why hasn't the attorney general closed them down? Isn't it illegal to charge someone's credit card without detailed information up front?Desired Settlement: I am seeking a full refund of $99.00 to my bank account.

Review: I joined this site and began bidding on items. I won several bid vouchers and paid and was issued the bids. I also won the following: 5 Day/4 Night Florida Vacation + 25 Bids on 11-09-2013 and paid $1.32; $25 Vacation Cash Card on 11-08-2013 and paid $0.74; $100 Vacation Cash Card on 11-07-2013 and paid $23.76. My total winnings was $66.84. This company withdrew $92.25 from my checking account. They have not issued the winnings mentioned above. I have made contact with an agent via live chat on a couple of occasions only to be told I will receive my winnings and they had to notify the rewards department. I again tried to connect with live chat today and was on hold for more then 1 hour and no one responded. I emailed them last week requesting a refund and received no reply. The only winnings issued was bids that were won for the auction. That implies that you bid, you win, you pay, you get your reward. It appears to me that this company is engaging in fraudulent activity, based on the lack of contact information provided by them, lack of response, and nonissue of paid reward. I listed contact info on this complaint that I found doing an internet search.Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Refund

Review: Under the name "HotCloseouts2013.com" this company charged me $99 for a bid package without my consent. This site only let's you believe that you are registering, not buying bids. After falling into this trap I found out that they also operate under the name of Biddy.com, which is also a total scam. After trying to contact them I found that their is no number listed on their website, except for a chat which never works. since I was not able to contact them to get my money back, I felt I had no choice but to bid on something, to then find out that the bids disappear within a few minutes and the item I was bidding on (again because I had no choice) was going on for weeks! without this website is a total scam! I want them to refund me back the $99 to my credit card and be shut down.Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Refund

Review: On December 2, 2013, I signed up for zbiddy.com to start purchasing and bidding on deals. The website asked for my account information which I assumed would have taken the money only from the things that I had won the bid on. I did not see a fee of 99 dollars in their terms in conditions. I received an email 5 minutes after from hotcloseouts2013 saying $99 was taken from my account. I had not bid or purchased any items yet. I contacted the company twice to try to rectify the issue. They did not respond nor did they have a phone number to call and speak to a representative. Please contact me[redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like the $99 put back on my account.

I used Zbiddy pretty happily for about a month, until I got my next bank statement. I bid on several items I was satisfied with (Restaurant.com certs, travel certs, video games). It was fun as long as I watched closely what the value of my item was plus the cost of the bids I'd already paid for.

What I failed to understand was that Zbiddy is located somewhere outside of the U.S. (Canada??) and they process your purchases through a bank outside of the U.S. The result was that I had to pay over $100 dollars in "international banking" fees from my own bank, AND from their Canadian-based bank when the payments were processed for the purchases to my credit card. These additional fees were not obvious anywhere on the bidding site.

I complained to Zbiddy and their reply was that I'd agreed to this when I registered. *I probably did "agree" by registering, but not reading every single sentence of the fine print. I post this note to warn others.*

Keep in mind that even if you are purchasing from their home country, there may be no guarantee you will avoid these charges either. Zbiddy informed me that they are a "global company" and they may use a bank from any of their global locations. So beware the hidden costs!

Review: On 9/26/13, I received an email to click thru to unlockmyluck.com for free bids to try it out.I did and thought I was signing up with unlockmyluck.com, which turns out to be ZBiddy.com. I was given 25 free bids and bid on a chilli's $10 gift card, which I won. I went to check out noticing that a $100 gas gift card would be given. After completing checkout, I noticed that a bid package was automatically added. I chatted right away with a rep stating my issue and she offered to send a gas card, which is actually a gas voucher and credit me $29.50. I was happy with that. Today I contact customer service to inquire about my chilli's gift card and was told I was sent an e-mail with redemption instructions. I was not told, nor did I read that I was not getting a physical gift card. The e-mail never came and now customer service tells me it is for a TGIF gift card that I would need to redeem online. I told the rep I was not interested in that gift card because this is not what I bid on and paid for. I was told the card changed due to the delay in redeeming it. I would have contacted customer service right away had I known. I expressed my concerns and asked what is their 100% satisfaction guarantee? I actually had to ask a few times since it was not answered. Finally, I am told it just means satisfied that I receive my item (which I still have to receive.)I express concern that I feel like this is a scam and am told, "[redacted] I would like to assure you that we at ZBiddy.com are far from fraudulent. We are accredited with Revdex.com and hold an A rating." I took the rep's statement and decided to look it up. WOW, not even accredited. I tell her what I found and was told, " [redacted], that is the information that I have here." The rep said shipping would get back to me, but I have decided I do not want to wait. I want to get out of this mess and headache. I feel like I got ripped off and am very unhappy regarding the whole situation.Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Refund

I do not wish to do business with this company. I will not redeem a gift card I did not receive, the gas voucher program, or be biding on this site. I would like for the $29.51 I was charged for the chilli's card and bid package be credited to my VISA and be removed from your site. I have 152 bids, and I will not be using them.(My bid package was for 150 bids.) I hope they do the right thing, and not lie about being accredited by the Revdex.com giving people a false sense a

Review: I had trouble selectioning only one issue to write the complaint about. 1. Their practices are misleading;they charged my card w/o giving any indication there is a charge prior to doing so; 2. Customer Service is reprehensible; I contacted the support personnel and was hung up on; I called again and requested to speak to a supervisor ad was refused; I called a 3rd time and was was taken on a merry go round for 30 min. with someone pretending to help me only to finally be told I would not be refunded and disconneted yet again. I did not agree to any purchase and infactly told them I did not want the item/package they charged me for.3. What can I say about their refund policy - these people are crooks and should be stopped. There are many people out there who do not have the wherewith all to fight this kind of deception. I'd bet money their products are defective as well.

Review: I "won" items on this Penny Auction site, Zbiddy.com, on July 16 and 17 and purchased an item on July 9. Their promise was that I would receive my products within 7-10 business days of the transaction. I never received any of the items purchased. Between August 1 and September 19 I contacted the company via their customer service online chat 5 different times (I have copies of 3 the chat transcripts, missing chats 3 & 4, but I'm sure Zbidddy would have record of them!)to ask why I hadn't received my items yet. Each and every time I was assured I'd get my items and the person I was chatting with would personally follow up on my inquiry. I never received any follow up contacts. So, on November 15, after 4 months of waiting for my items, I called ZBiddy and requested a refund. I received an email from Penny from the billing department on Nov. 21 stating my refund had been processed and I should see the refund in 7-10 business days. Dec. 11 I replied to that email stating the refund had not been credited to my credit card yet. I did not receive any response. I called Dec. 20 and requested to speak to the person who sent me the refund notice from the Billing Dept. I was told Billing does not take phone calls. I spoke with Alice who stated their records showed it had been processed already. My credit card still has not received a refund from ZBiddy. I called again on January 15, 2014 asking to speak to a supervisor. I was told my account is being "investigated" and I would need to speak to the manager, who was not available at the time of my call. I have the chat transcripts, the emails and phone records to support this complaint.Desired Settlement: I would like a check in the amount of $75.94 to be mailed to me as a refund for the items I did not received from ZBiddy. And I would like this complaint against the Penny Auction company, ZBiddy.com, on the Revdex.com record and publicized for others to be informed and warned!

Review: I was checking out their site on 9/18/12. They ask you to register (no big deal) and ask for your credit card info which I entered THINKING it was for possible future bidding, and as soon as I hit submit is said, 'Thank you for purchasing the $99 bid package'! NOT ONCE did it mention ANYTHING about bid packages, and I certainly would not have bought a $99 package as I have NO CLUE how these auction sites work, I was simply REGISTERING on the site, or so I THOUGHT, to check it out! I contacted them immediately through their support chat (as I couldnt find any kind of phone number to contact them) & infact, have part of the chat printed out verifying some of the conversation along with all the run-around I was getting. I tried to go to their website today (7/7/14) to use my so-called bids and am unable to find their web-site. I want them caught so they dont do this to others and I want my money back.

Suddenly they stop the auctions without any notice. Actually I have about 1,150 bids of credit.I called many times at the telephone they provide in my application, but nobody answer my calls. I left messages( a lot ) but I did not get any answer from then. I sent more then five e-mails and also no answer. I tried to get a hold of them by phone, no such luck, tried by e-mail twice, they did not respond, I disputed the charge on my credit card, I received my response back from credit card services stating that buylowauctions/Zbiddy.com had not received any contact request from me. If you go online and type in buylowauctions you will get page after page where people have tried to contact this company and got no response or were told there wasn't anything they could do about. I would like to get my $99.00 back, I canceled that card so they couldn't charge any more on it, so a refund may have to be done by check unless they can somehow still put it back on my card

Review: On July 17th I bid on and won an iPod 5th generation. I received an email on July 22 that I would receive it in 7-10 days. I have copies of the emails. It is now October 4th an have not received anything. I have been contacting them every week for 6weeks, they keep telling me I would here in a few days, then please give us a few more days, week after week with no word. I then contacted via phone and was told I would get a refund, I asked if it would be confirmed, he said in a few days I would get an email, I asked to talk to a supervised or manager to confirm and was told I couldn't . I have not received any kind of confirmation on this as yet. The item was said to be worth $225 and I expect to either receive the item or get the money(225) refund. They are selling items they don't have and I think misrepresenting apple products. I have copies of all emails and chat transcripts.
