Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Wow, so now Zillow says that anybody can write a review without even having worked with the agentThis to me is slanderous and a defamation of character Zillow seems to write whatever they want and let it pass as an honest and reliable review No wonder they have so many bad reviews everywhere Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The message received from zillow is belowGiven the message that I received from Zillow it was indicated they would follow through on this closour and let me know when it was completeThat is the reason that followed up two times and was ignored both timesDid the cusotmer service representative lie to me? Message:Hello, Thatnk you for your replyAt this time, I have passed this on to Trulia, they will reach out directlyI will reach back out when your HotPads account is closed.Kind Regards,LeaConsumer Care Rpresentative LeaConsumer Care Representative Sincerely, [redacted]

To Whom It May Concern: There is no records indicating any phone calls to anywhere in the company during the month of JulyOur system automatically logs any inbound calls from [redacted] [redacted] will not be receiving any further refunds and the number she mentioned in her previous Revdex.com requests is not the Agent CrWe have already made an exception by giving her a partial refund, and this is all she will be receiving

I am the listing Broker and homeowner of [redacted] ***Zillow has placed an incorrect valuation (Zestimate) around $195,less than a recent appraisal conducted on this homeThe property in reference appraised 6/8/for $389,and Last November for $368,I have contacted zillow on multiple occasions thru email and phone and have had nothing done to correct the issueI want the incorrect valuation corrected with licensed appraisal data or removed all togetherTheir advertising is affecting my ability to sell my home for the appraised fair market value because consumer perception is being mislead by incorrect and inaccurate information

Zillow receives property information from public records provided by third-party data providers and from user-provided submissionsProperty pages are not managed by Zillow directlyOn occasion, this information can get misreported to us which looks to be the case hereThis is why we provide homeowners with tools to edit a number of facts that appear on a property pageHowever, we have gone ahead and updated the home facts mentioned within this complaint on behalf of the homeowner as requestedIf this individual needs to make additional changes in the future, they can learn more about editing home facts here: https://zillow.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/212561918-How-do-I-correct-the-bedr...

I have notified Zillow several times to remove a fraudlent ad concerning my property address in which they have notIt recently appeared and states my property is foreclosed for over days I have asked to please send me information on who submitted this ad with their e-mail information so that we can persue further legal action, if nesseccaryBut they have still not repondedRight now my family is being ridiculed in our prestige neighborhood and this is no laughing matter

There is not explanation why Zestimate fluctuates and drops dramaticallyThis is directly affecting me trying to sell my home because we've received feedback from potential buyers expressing concern of this estimateI wrote to them: I am writing to you AGAIN, because the Zestimate on my property dropped by over $30k in the last dayYou guys are directly affecting the sale of my property by constantly fluctuating the zestimate valueI do understand that it should fluctuate up/down but the fact that it dropped by over 30K in a day is wrongIt used to be around $166.5k now its $135.3kCan you report this to your software support teamTheir response was: Our developers are aware of your feedback, and I can assure you they're actively using it to help improve the Zestimate algorithm as a wholeAs explained in our previous conversations, no one at Zillow can directly edit or remove your home's ZestimateI'm sorry to say there's nothing more we can do to help at this timeKindly, Heather PZillow Consumer Care www.zillow.com/help

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I am confused as to why the third party data providors have to be hiddenThe recent communication with the business has been unproductiveI cannot foresee any resolution being reached with the business at this point Sincerely, [redacted]

Good Afternoon, We are currently trying to sell our home and the Zestimate is extremely lowI contacted Zillow and we were advised that they base their Zestimate on information they are providedI updated all the information on their website because we had completely remodeled the home which raised our finished square footage approximately feetThe Zestimate went up for one day and then went back down to the original a day laterWe homes comparable homes and a professional appraisal showing about more than what they are listingMost people look to them to provide accurate information and they are notThey told me they base their zestimate on information provided but this is not the case with our homeWe are in the process of selling and they are turning off a lot of consumers

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I actually raised this issue with Zillow on 6/(the same day that Zillow made the error) so we are now closing on months since I first raised the issue and Zillow has still not acted on my request (indeed I do get emails from time to time informing me that Zillow's developers are working on the issue but enough is enough - how long does a patient property owner need to be patient for a simple listing mention on my property page to be removed?)I am a reasonable person and could certainly understand if the issue was brought to Zillow's attention recently, but if each erroneous entry on a property owner's page (caused by Zillow itself by the way) requires months and months to rectify (indeed it still has not been rectified so who knows how long one has to wait), I am not sure how Zillow is going to keep owners satisfied The erroneous removal of a listing (or indeed an erroneous addition) can have a damaging impact on the sale (or rental) prospects of a property and I am willing to raise a class action law suit if it is found that Zillow has been making similar errors with other owners which are hindering their property's prospects too Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: They clearly did not address my concerns in any way whatsoeverThey are publicly displaying my personal data on an international forum (ie: sale price of MY HOME)I do not approve of this and want control over that data to remove itIn no way should they govern the display of this informationSincerely, [redacted] ***

Five days ago we listed our home for sale on ZillowThree days ago I added an open houseThen the next day I tried to change the time and add a better pictureThere was a block on my account that "only the listing agent can change the listing." I do not have a listing agentI sent three emails to customer service, called the verification phone number and Zillow corporate to try and fix this problem They have hijacked our listing that doesn't allow us to edit or terminate our relationship with Zillow We have not gotten any calls from buyers, only real estate agentsThe listing deceptively routes buyers to real estate agents who are not representing our homeWe will never use Zillow again and are relocating soonI am very disappointed with the deception

The original desired resolution for this complaint was to update the square footage for this home, which has already been completedThe rejection reason addresses a separate issue but we're happy to provide additional information Regarding the Zestimate, this is an estimate calculated by a computer-generated algorithmAs a result, we cannot manually change or remove individual ZestimatesThe Zestimate is calculated from public and user-submitted data for each individual home, taking into account items such as home facts (beds, baths, sq ft), sale history, and tax historyPast sales data and tax history are provided by public records and will not be removed from our site Most upgrade information is not in the public records and is not easily quantifiableWe do not know about home updates and remodels unless they have been reported to the local tax assessor, so these items are not used in Zestimate calculationsWhile we do utilize user-submitted data that is measurable (e.g., additional bedroom count, bath count, and square footage), there is no way for us to systematically gather and verify the type of remodel or build information where the value is based upon how the final product appeals to the buyerBecause of this, the algorithm can't use that informationAlthough Zillow strives to provide accurate estimates, the Zestimate is meant only to serve as a starting point in determining a home's valueIt is not intended to replace a comparative market analysis or an appraisal, as they can take into account market intricacies that the Zestimate cannotWe encourage buyers, sellers, and homeowners to supplement Zillow's information by doing other research such as: [redacted] Getting a comparative market analysis (CMA) from a real estate agent [redacted] Getting an appraisal from a professional appraiser [redacted] Visiting the house (whenever possible) We understand that some homes may be unique in ways that are not well captured by existing data and our current Zestimate modelTo provide more information on a home, we encourage homeowners to include an Owner’s Estimate in the Zestimate Details section of a property pageThis provides the opportunity for the homeowner to explain what they feel your home is worth given its unique featuresWhile we monitor customer feedback for systematic issues with the Zestimate formula, we do not change or remove individual Zestimates in response to customer feedbackReports of possible issues with Zestimates are recorded to help with efforts to improve the algorithm as a whole in the futureTo learn more about the Zestimate, please visit this link: http://www.zillow.com/zestimate/

Zillow recently implemented a new verification process for manually posted listings on our site to help improve listing quality. Once a listing is submitted, it can take some time for our Listing Verification Team to review and approve the listing so long as it meets our Listing Quality Policy... guidelines (https://www.zillow.com/corp/Quality.htm). There have been some delays with this new system site wide and have been working to get listings reviewed and posted as quickly as possible. In reviewing our records, our team has already been in touch with this individual and we were able to successfully post the For Sale By Owner listing: [redacted] . The home now appears actively For Sale By Owner on Zillow. If this individual needs assistance in the future, we encourage them to contact our Consumer Care Team via our Help Center at www.zillow.com/help for fastest assistance.

I contracted with Zillow group for months of advertising on their website for the period 9/15/to 3/15/I was required to place a deposit in the amount of $344.60, and pay the same amount monthly for a fixed number of impressions over zip code I found the service to be unsatisfactory, but fulfilled my terms of the contract nonetheless by paying for services, and acting in good faith promptly responding to leads forwarded to me via the serviceI found the ONLY way you could cancel your subscription was to call your account manager once the contract expiredNote, the contract cannot be canceled in writing, by e-mail or by calling the Zillow headquartersYou are given only one person in the whole Zillow world that can cancel your serviceSo I called Andrew P [redacted] on 3/16/at 8:amHe definitely tried to keep me subscribed, but at this point I was over the service, and rejected the many pleas to not cancelHe assured me my account would be canceledImagine my surpri
