"Zestimates" of home values are published on line by the Zillow roup, Inc., and prepared using information from public sources and listings prepared for MLS, which are then entered, by Zillow, into an algorithm, owned by the Zillow Group to provide Zillow's "estimate" of a home's value, published, on-line, nationally Zillow makes the claim that this is not an appraisal, but an estimate On 6/28/17, the Zillow Zestimate was $187.7K On 7/5/17, I fired Realtor#and hired Realtor #2, so the house was briefly de-listed from MLS On 7/13/17, two days before the first Open House, Zillow changed the Zestimate from 187.7K to 110K Only two viewers showed up My new realtor complained to Zillow Group and got no explanation as to why the Zestimate changed, in only two weeks I also complained, pointing out that even the RE Tax-assessed value was 143K, and that, in the ensuing two weeks, the house had suffered no fire, lightening or tornado damage and that all solar panels, owned by

We appreciate the clarification and have updated this to reflect "Central" as requested. The change can be viewed here: https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/ [redacted] pid/. Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meSincerely, [redacted]

Zillow sales contacted me and sold me zip code advertisement for $on Oct 11th I did not get any quality lead as she promised but spam callsSo I called and emailed on Oct 15th to cancel my serviceThe sales told me that she will get me full refund But without my permission she switched me to a different zip codeShe reached out and asked me about it, I told her I just want to cancel for nowAfter that I only got a refund of $ Not only that Zillow didn't keep their promise to give me full refund, I paid $for the sales delayed cancellation and unauthorized service! I felt very cheated I thought Zillow is a good companyI can't believe Zillow handle their business in this wayIt's not honorable

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Zillow continues to list our home on the internet as "OFF MARKET" : Their response and listing is incorrectThe home is still on the real estate market and is listed on MLS and by our real estate professionals on their websiteSince their listing is incorrect, we demand that they remove their incorrect listing COMPLETELY from the internetTheir listing of our home as "OFF MARKET" is information and misleading to consumers as potential buyersZillow is mis-representing the facts about our home and is therefore compensating the sale of our homeAs such, Zillow could be subject to litigation.Sincerely, [redacted]

The response from Zillow Group remains the same. The property will remain on our site for the reasons previously stated. No changes will be made.

Complaint: [redacted] Zillow did not offer a response but a pro forma reply that does not address the issue at hand, a reply that was sadly indicative of my customer service experienceHere again are the facts: The company admits that I could not see online that I had a fee-based membership, or unsubscribe online from that membership, and did not use that membership (because I was unaware of it), yet it still insists that I should still have to pay for it For example, see attached imageThis is the drop-down menu when you sign into TruliaTwo Zillow representatives insisted there was an account settings tab here that would allow me to see I was paying for a fee-based serviceOnce I sent this image, along with other evidence, the Zillow manager admitted he was wrong and there was no way for me to see I was being billed or had a fee-based membershipYet Zillow did not offer my money back or even offer to meet me half way To then cite terms and conditions, as if that compensates for clandestine billing, meets the definition of unscrupulous business practiceIncreasingly, Zillow’s response leads one to think that Zillow’s hidden fees are by design, hence intentionalMy experience is likely the experience of countless people on Trulia and/or ZillowThis is why the Revdex.com must investigate because I am almost surely more the rule than the exception (this can be explained further when time called for) This is a massive publicly traded company that -- based on two irrefutable pieces of evidence and Zillow’s reply -- seems to intentionally hide its billing practices in order to pad its profit margin This is the most logical and objective conclusion considering Zillow offered no notification online or via billing emails that it was billing me or that I had a fee-based membership (to which a Zillow manager acknowledged)If Zillow is arguing that its policy is to bill clients without offering them any way to know of such, when logged in to Zillow/Trulia, as well as to not send any invoices, and if Zillow calls this it’s normative terms and conditions, then Zillow is acknowledging that it intentionally hides billing I love some of Zillow’s productsBut if it by design bills individuals in a secretive fashion, which it by implication is admitting, then that’s a serious issue that the Revdex.com should explore considering, again, this is a multi-billion dollar *publicly [redacted] traded company with a de facto (near) monopoly on the real estate advertising industry Sincerely, [redacted] ***

To Whom it May Concern,I researched [redacted] 's account and found that her advertising was cancelled on 05/15/If she would like to discuss this further, she can contact [email protected]

We have remapped the icon (pin) for this property to the correct area as requestedThe change can be viewed here: https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/ [redacted] _zpid/Thank you for alerting us of the issue and allowing us the opportunity to correct it

First, let me assure you that your zestimate does indeed affect the mindof the buyer as well as some appraisersGiven that it is not as trivial as yousuggest; you should be accountable for huge swings in your estimatessince they can adversely and perhaps significantly affect a person's livelihood I asked a fair questionDespite your algorithm, there was an event that your algorithm acted upon that dropped the price of my house at: [redacted] ***Micanopy, FL by $22kand left this competing residence right around the corner at: [redacted] ** at its same zestimated value of $375kNow it's up a few more thousand today. And magically or by your algorithm, the zestimate for my home has gone back up somewhat to $354kwhich is a change I can possibly swallowI still think your company should not be able to hide behindthe word proprietary or algorithm when it comes to very large differences in house appraisals which aresimilar and in the same areaYou should have to explain it or at least take a look at see if your algorithm did something unexpected, which is what it seems like; looking at this modified zestimate for my home.I sincerely hope this does not happen againThank you, Complaint: [redacted] Sincerely, [redacted] ***

In reviewing our records, we've already previously communicated with this individual and there is no new information to provide or action we can take at this timeTo recap, we have already removed the erroneous sales transaction from this property page as requested Regarding the Zestimate, this is an estimate calculated by a computer-generated algorithm based off the data availableAs a result, we cannot manually change or remove individual ZestimatesThe algorithm uses public and user-submitted data, taking into account items such as home facts (beds, baths, square footage), sales history, and tax assessment historyPeople ultimately have more fundamental reasons that drive what they choose to buy or not buyOur data shows that half of all sales are generally above the ZestimateAlthough Zillow strives to provide accurate home valuations, the Zestimate value is meant only to serve as a starting point in determining a home's valueThe Zestimate is not an appraisal - it is an estimateWe make this clear on each property page and our website (http://www.zillow.com/zestimate/) Zillow encourages buyers, sellers, and homeowners to supplement Zillow's information by doing other research such as getting a comparative market analysis (CMA) from a real estate agent; getting an appraisal from a professional appraiser; visiting the house (when possible) While we monitor customer feedback for system-wide issues with the algorithm, we cannot manually change or remove individual Zestimates in response to customer feedbackThis feedback has already been recorded and it will be used to help improve the Zestimate algorithm as a whole in the futureBeyond this, there is no further action or information we can provide at this time.To learn more about the Zestimate, please visit this link: http://www.zillow.com/zestimate/

In [redacted] I entered into a co-marketing agreement with a Realtor for a marketing campaignI agreed to pay the $fee on a monthly basis, however the Realtor elected to pay the year Fee in advance, in fullSince we both choose difference payment methods (monthly vsyearly), Zillow would not allow itBoth payment options had to be paid by the same methodI terminated my co-marketing agreement at that time, as I did not want to pay year in advanceNo payment was charged to me at that timeIn [redacted] 2016, unbeknownst to me, with no agreement with Zillow, the Realtor or otherwise, Zillow began charging my credit card $100/moAdam S***, Lead Account Executive, Mortgage Sales with Zillow is refusing to refund the $they charged on my credit card appx year after the co-marketing campaign was terminated (when they should not even of had my credit card # on file)The charge is fraudulent and erroneous

I listed my house for rent gave detailed instructions that tenants pay all utilities including sewer and that no particular credit score was required however they continue to post the wrong information inspite of my numerous emails advising them to fixThe info I put is different from what they post ALSO they keep posting numerous open houses causing people to show up disrupting the current tenants

The Sales Representative, Dominic M***, told me a service I signed up for called gold would get my listing "featured" and shown on the top by subscribing and paying for the serviceThe property never showed up at or near the topI called and tried to get in touch with MrM***He didn't respond well at all, taking days to get back to meEmail from the technical support indicated that this package I subscribed to was never designed to put the listing on the topIt was mis-advertised and I should not be charged at allI need full refund for everything I paid ($350)I finally heard from MrM***, but the issue was not resolved to my satisfaction

I signed up with Zillow's Premier Agent services approximately month agoThey claimed that I would receive calls from qualified leads interested in buying/selling homesThey informed me I was qualified for a concierge service that would filter/pre-qualify leads so the phone calls I would receive would be eligible to purchase/sell homesTo this date, out of the or so calls I have received in a month, of those calls have been spam calls/robots/people selling me servicesphone call was from an unqualified leadThis is advertisement and I am tired of the incessant spam calls clogging up my phone and leaving me endless voice mailsMy number is on the "National No Call List" for a reasonI have tried contacting Zillow and they continue changing my "Account Manager" and moving me around from person to person

I signed up with Zillow Premiere agent services on 01-21-Scott M [redacted] was the agent that made numerous promises to me and told me I was guaranteed to make money and see a huge return on the investment if I signed up with them, Scott never told me anything about the "contract" he had me to signScott informed me that I needed to sign a paper docusign and then I would start making moneyI contacted Scott in February to express dissatisfaction with the Premiere agent site as I was receiving renters, leads, spam and 3rd party contactsScott told me to give it more time, months passed and I was seeing the same thing with the program and nothing had changedI reached out to Scott countless times by phone, email and voicemail and he has done nothing but ignore meI called Michael C [redacted] on 5-31-to try and get some clarity as to what is going on, Michael admitted there was a glitch in the system and he did not doubt I was receiving rental leads, He stated there was

We are trying to list our property on the Zillow website but have had issues with posting the pictures of the property. Both my wife and I have tried repeatedly to upload the pictures and post them. The website has our pictures but will not show them on the advertisement. My wife and I have sent numerous emails detailing are issues to Zillow and have yet to get a reply. I have even made attempts to call someone at Zillow with no success. The best I have gotten is leave a message and we will call you back within 5 business days. A simple thing like uploading photos should not be this difficult! Any potential buyers will most likely skip right over our listing simply because we have zero photos for them to look at. Everyday is crucial in our market and we are losing precious time simply because Zillow has not made any attempt to contact us in order to resolve this issue.

The school information that is sent to us periodically from our third-party providers is an automated update process. Again, this is not something we are unable to manually edit, add, or delete school information that appears. If the incorrect schools are assigned on Zillow, they will be corrected during the next automated update. In the meantime, if the homeowner wishes to included specific schools for their listing we recommend adding in the home description section of the listing. Again, we encourage our users to check with the applicable school district prior to making a decision based on these boundaries. Attached is the disclaimer regarding school data shown on our site. In regards to the Zestimate, we do not directly edit or remove individual Zestimates from any property pages. It is simply an estimate using the data provided about the home. Although Zillow strives to provide accurate home valuations, the Zestimate value serves only as a starting point and is by no means an appraisal. Since this is only an estimate, we do not remove the information from any property page on Zillow as we believe this information is a useful starting point for users in determining a home's value. People ultimately have more fundamental reasons that drive what they choose to buy or not buy. If this user wishes to add additional information about their home, we encourage them to update the home facts and include an owner's estimate on their property page. This provides the opportunity for the homeowner to provide additional information about their home. If the home is actively listed with a real estate agent, the agent also has the opportunity to provide comments on the home's value by adding an agent note to the property listing. For additional information regarding the Zestimate and Zillow’s policies, please visit the following two links: http://www.zillow.com/zestimate/ and http://www.zillow.com/corp/Terms.htm.
