I am rejecting this response because: The offer of paying off Vivint is unacceptable as the balance is less than $and we have a contract balance with Skyline for $1800.00. I was very satisfied with Skyline. If I was satified with this new system, I may be more agreeable., but the so call "upgrade" is a down right a nusance. The alarm in the garage is set with the house. (garage is not attached to house) When drivimg into garage it is difficult to turn off alarm with sensor in the house. You have to turn it off with phone which is VERY INCONVIENT and TOO MUCH TROUBLE. The alarm is triggered almost daily. We use to get calls and the police would show up but no more because it happens so often. Now in the event that someone is actually breaking in my home, with all the frequentcy of the alarm going off, what is going to happen. My wife is disable due to back problem and at home alone most of the time. What's going to happen in a real emergency...I DON'T WANT YOUR SERVICE. I know I went through all the step with the representative but these door to door representatives have been trained well to do what they do in misleading customersAlso, the fast talking people on the phone. Since this situation, it was brought to my attention that news media showed a clip on how the representatives of these alarm companies are trained to get over on the customer. I was also told that class action civil cases has been filed on these companies. That let me know that I am not alone. Verbally I was told this was basically an upgrade with the same company we had. I don't like the system and I dont want your service period. Check monitoring of how often it goes off. iT IS A HASSLE AND VERY INCONVENIENT.

There was no contract entered into on October 2, for *** *** ***, Selma, Al and when I told the representative that I didn't have service with themthey insisted on me giving them my password but wouldn't tell me who they were monitoring for, and sent police to my house anyway.

agreement they were approached by a representative from Vivint, a competitor, who gave them information in an attempt to take over their monitoringBecause of the actions of the salesman the ***’s are now stuck in two agreements and in attempt to get ours cancelled this complaint is being filed regarding events that took place on 6/7/2013. Tothe Revdex.com, Thank you for contacting us, based on our research it looks like our customer loyaltyspecialist had tried to call Mr*** back but the call did not go through, they have requested that Mr*** email in a written notice of cancellation
letter and he can send it to [email protected] once that has been received we will go ahead and cancel the account and we will be able to refund the funds back into Mr*** automatic checking account we have on file. Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because: the length of the contract being months is just unduly long, regardless that I signed it and was asked if I had signed it, since I was never explained that ending the contract would require me to pay the remaining of the month contractAs for the two times the alarm has gone off in the middle of the night, it was about a month apart in both July and August but I did not write down the dates

the renewal took placeWe are also confused with the allegation that we acquired the renewal by masquerading as ***Why would we pretend to be another company to someone who already had done business with us for the previous four years and how would we know the customer had an *** alarm at another address? states: “due to limited income as a senior citizen, I am no longer able to afford this service.” The account is in the name of *** *** who our records show is 37. The complaint also states “the initial contract period is over.” The month agreement was signed on 11/17/and doesn’t end until 11/17/19. 4/ because the sensor was malfunctioning again and when she explained nobody could reach the sensor we scheduled a technician for 4/After Ms*** expressed her frustration with that date we moved her appointment up to 4/Ms*** ended the call as our representative was explaining some solutions she could try on her own. We appreciate Ms***’s feedback regarding our customer service and it did not fall on deaf ears as she supposedTo compensate her for the inconvenience she has experienced, we have given her two months of service at no chargeHowever, we are unable to cancel Ms***’s contract at this timeWhen Ms*** signed up with Alder we agreed to pay $to her previous provider to satisfy her balanceThat agreement was made with the understanding that she would honor the terms of our contract which still has an additional months.Sincerely, Brandt N*** | Alder Compliance Manager
