Mr [redacted] , To address the issue of timeliness with your claim it is important to note that we sent you a claims form only two days after your move date of December It wasn’t until over month later that you actually returned the applicable forms for us to begin your claims processThen you sent our claims department 1-emails a day asking for confirmation of them receiving your paperwork claiming that you had never received anything from themThe Claims department responded to every email for the first 2-daysThis was the same email you received the paperwork throughOften times you were sending emails claiming not to have received their answer, you actually sent a reply message from their response emailAs far as the items claimed, you had signed a waiver requesting to not have an itemized inventory done on the items being movedWithout that inventory, we cannot confirm the condition of the refrigerator prior to the moveAdditionally, you signed a multiple releases stating that you understood All My Sons does not guarantee the working condition of any electronics upon arrival, as we do not check the working condition prior to the move, and that we recommend not moving ice makers during the winterFor these reasons and due to the releases signed by you, we could not consider your refrigerator for claimsThat being said, your couch which was scuffed during the move was reported by my crew as being scuffed, so you were reimbursed through basic valuation, chosen by you, at $.60/per lb/itemI hope this clears up any confusion and explains the decision made by our claims departmentVery Respectfully, Jacob P***

We conducted a move for Mr [redacted] on 27JulDuring the move I had spoken to Tom to check on the progress of the moveIt was a standard quality assurance call made at 10:AMDuring that time he had made no mention of the guys moving slowlyAs for the damages and missing item, Thomas is still working with our claims department to settle mattersHe elected to have basic valuation at $.60/lb./itemHe will be reimbursed as such, as found necessary, once the claims process has been completedThere has been no intentional delay in processing Thomas’s claims, however, the claimsprocess is not an instantaneous evolution and does require timeIt is important to note that at the time the complaint was made, Thomas had already been working with our claims departmentBelow is a copy of the notes from the quality assurance call made during the moveAdditionally, I have attached the photos sent to myself by Thomas o 7/27/10:50:AM o ***, Jacob o QA o All Good QACM- Spoke with Tomsaid they were moving alongmaking progress

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2014/03/18) */ In regards to Mr [redacted] 's move that took place on March 1,I spoke to Mr [redacted] myself informing him of his rate in full detail it was of our best men at a hourly rate of including a hour travel charge and 10% fuel surcharge as well as a hour minimum for labor we went over this completely for almost minutes because I sensed Mr [redacted] might have trouble when it came to affording this move he had a very large bedroom apartment that was two stories and it was filled from wall to wall with his belongingsWhen I confirmed his move with us he stated he was quoted by [redacted] which as you know we cannot quote someone over the phone on exactly how long it will take to complete anyone's move from start to finish without a in home estimate being done for himI offered to come look at his apartment myself to narrow down the price for him so he would have a better understanding of what his move costs would be he turned down that offerMr [redacted] 's minimum charges for this move with men at per hour which includes our hour minimum and hour travel time charge as well as the 10% fuel surcharge is 524.70$So I'm having a hard time understanding where in his complaint he is stating he was quoted 420$ [redacted] is a veteran in our company with many years of booking and confirming jobs as well as giving the shippers the minimum cost for what there move will be with their hourly rateI myself explained to Mr[redacted] that his minimum up front what he was looking at cost wise is 524.70$ and that after his hour labor minimum we charge in minute incrementsWe had to push back several moves that very week for two days because the city of Minneapolis was in fact put in a state of emergency because the roadways were so dangerousI called Mr[redacted] everyday with updates to assure him we are doing everything we can but in light of the weather I cannot put my men our equipment other drivers and his belongings in jeopardy by going ahead and risking facing the road conditionsOn the day of Mr[redacted] 's move I received a call from [redacted] our crew chief and driver on his move to inform me that Mr[redacted] had in fact left his residence and left our men there by themselvesI then called Mr[redacted] informing him that our men cannot be left at his residence unsupervised for liability reasons on his end as well as oursHe told me that was ridiculous and inconvenient because he had errands to runMy driver needed to get more boxes to ensure he could complete the packing portion of Mr[redacted] 's move because there were more items that needed to be packed then Mr[redacted] informed usI let our driver by himself come back to the warehouse to get the materials himself at which time our driver still beat Mr[redacted] back to his residence after speaking with himWhen it came time to take payment I spoke to Mr[redacted] myself because he was having a problem with the price the move itself took over hours I actually cut Mr[redacted] a deal his total was originally 2,he only was charged for 2,so he was discounted 306.08$ on his moveHe stated the crew was gone for hours during his move which is very untrue that's when I informed him our trucks our equipped with GPS that will allow me to replay the whole day of his move and locate the truck within feet of its resting place as well as the exact time for its entire movement for the whole day he then stated well ok maybe it was minutesWhen we did take payment Mr[redacted] stated his credit cards were in his dresser at the very front of our truck that was padwrapped as well as shrinkwrapped and he could not get to them until the entire truck was unloadedI then reminded Mr[redacted] on the discussion we had the day before about how All My Sons takes payment and when we take paymentWe take payment at the point when the truck gets to its destination before offloading he informed me that he had forgotten about that discussion I then informed him [redacted] I have to get payment before the offload so I suggested he call a friend or family member to let us take payment and that he could pay them backHe said ok no problem and called his father or stepfather for us to collect payment and said he could just pay them backAt that point my crew offloaded his belongings with no damages to anything and in my opinion performed extremely well throughout Mr[redacted] 's move they never took a lunch break or any breaks for that matter to get his job done quicker for him because he was stating he didn't know if he would have enough money to pay his billI can understand anyone being frustrated over a high priced bill they were not informed of but Mr[redacted] was fully informed and fully aware of the cost of his move as well as material cost

We were moved by All My Sons and it was awfulThe day labor type men were ill kept and ill-manneredOur $solid cherry stained wood TV cabinet with sliding doors was damagedThey destroyed my stereo, German Schrunk, book shelves and glass wareIt was an awful experienceThe "head" man was rude and his teeth looked like he had crewed bricksThey were not profession in manner or attitudeI would bet they came from one of those day labor people I was told of by another company which I had hired insteadThe so called insurance is pitiful jokethirty cents per poundTechnology is of very light in weightOUR stereo could not be replaced on those termsIt is sad and a regrettable experienceI wish I had gone with anyone but these stooges

Like I've said, a $deposit was taken from our bank account using my boyfriend's card when he bookedWe were assured by the person who told us the workers didn't show that he saw the deposit aND it would be returned to the card the next dayHow can you say a deposit wasn't taken workout even asking me the name of the person who paid it? At this point I'm aiming this is your practice based upon reviews an we won't see that money again because you're not even attempting to research or make it right

All My Sons Moving Company charged me over and above the contracted amountThe sales person used deception to retain my businessHe said, and so does their website say that ALL of their employees are owners of the companyThat's is a total lieI signed a contract for movers, as I had a few very large pieces of furniture and the company calls me up the day before telling me one man is out sick and there will only be moversThat's a violation of the contract #The movers damaged many pieces of valuable antique furnitureThe movers verbal sexually harassed me and they told me that they intentionally take more time to do the job because they are paid hourlyMovers did not properly protect my furniture and did not use mattress coversMy move was July 2, from Colorado Springs, Co to Monument CoThat's about miles apartThey arrived on time at 830am and I had all my items already boxed and waiting for them in my garageI moved from a two bedroom townhome to a much lar
