I thought they did a great job with replacing my *** watch. Would I purchase it again, yes.

Have been using Square Trade for years for all my warranties. Had a few items that needed service, never an issue to get quick help. HIGHLY recommend for all your purchases.

Great service they paid my claim in a timely manner.

representative was very accommodating and very professional. After having a hard time with the manufacturer of the product, Square Trade resolved the issue in matter of minutes. Thank You Square Trade and your staff. Will always use Square Trade where available.

Shipping box for my laptop arrived the next day. Later that afternoon, I dropped it off at my local *** shipping counter and was received at the repair center to begin getting fixed 3 days after I filed my claim. Laptop returned working perfectly....Thanks

I purchased a 3 year warranty on a item that I purchased at *** as I always have in the past. The item, a drone, quit working and I have been trying to get the measly $39.99 price that I paid for the item back. They told me I would be mailed a gift card for the amount of purchase. That was in February and we are almost in June and I have received nothing I have communicated thru email with the company about this on April 24th I contacted when I had not heard from them or received my gift card and they said they needed copy of receipt. I emailed the receipt again. I went on their website to see if I could find out anything after a brief "Chat session" of coarse he could not help me and told me I would have to call because there was no claim made. ugh...I called and the first lady I spoke with was ***, we got disconnected... I call back .. I speak with *** and her phone is not working, "they are having technical difficulties". She calls me back twice because I asked her to take down my number in case we get disconnected again. Still phone breaking up and no satisfaction in clearing up this issue. I guess I have to chalk this one up to a lesson learned and WILL NEVER AGAIN PURCHASE A WARRANTY AT THE REGISTER. God loves me because I live right and at least this happened with a $40 item and not a electronic item that I would be out a whole lot more money. They should not be allowed to sell these warranty's when they have NO intention of honoring when someone try's to file a claim. SHAME ON THIS COMPANY !!!!!

We apologize for any dissatisfaction the consumer has experienced.Before a consumer can successfully file a claim, they must complete the registration of their protection plan. Both the website and our phone specialists will request the documentation such as a receipt before filing a claim. If the consumer has not completed the step, there will be no claim filed.All consumers who have successfully file a claim will receive a confirmation email containing the claim and protection plan ID. Providing this information to the phone specialist allows for quick access to your claim related details. If the consumer has not received the confirmation email, then they have not completed a claim.We do not nor have we ever offered our consumers gift cards via postal service as a resolution. A consumer will never receive that as a form of payment for a claim. However, we may provide a digital e-gift card as a reimbursement option when available.We understand that the consumer has experienced difficulty filing their claim, so we have reached out directly to provide additional support and insight.

Best customer service ever! I had SquareTrade on my *** TV, as most of their sets do, it started flickering and flashing in some high contrast areas after a couple of years. Just beyond manufacture and *** warranty. I'm so glad I had SquareTrade. I sent them a few pics and short videos of problem and in less than 2 weeks, they took care of the replacement. I will be a SquareTrade customer for life, anytime I can have the option to buy it with any electronic purchase, I will.

I have been trying to file claims for weeks now and keep getting the run around. Every time I am actually able to get through to anyone I am told all I need to do is re-file the claim or update receipt online. I follow through with the steps and still in a holding status requiring further review.

Square trade was a quick fast easy reliable process to use.

Square trade was great and would highly recommend to everyone.

I purchased security cameras on eBay and purchased SquareTrade extended warranties with each camera. One of the cameras quit working and SquareTrade is now trying to get out of honoring the warranty saying it's a pre-existing condition.

Upon reviewing your account, we noticed your claim was referred to the manufacturer of your item, given that it was purchased just a couple of months ago. SquareTrade protection plans are extended warranties that cover you beyond the manufacturer's warranty period to ensure there are no gaps in coverage and continues after their year ends. Given that your item is still under the manufacturer's warranty, they are responsible for resolving any mechanical failures that occur since these are typically caused by defects or workmanship. If the manufacturer does not assist, we require the consumer to provide documentation before processing it with a claim. At this time, we have reached out to the consumer requesting denial information from the manufacturer to proceed with a claim.

I am rejecting this response because: The manufacturer has already stated via phone and on their website, “If the item was not purchased directly from them or an authorized reseller,” they will not honor the warranty. That is why I purchased your warranty on eBay. Again, the manufacturer will not honor an eBay purchase.

I bought two warranties and uploaded the receipts but now they say they can't find them in their system I don't have the receipts anymore so they're saying they can't give me a exchange

We do our best to make the consumer's experience as hassle-free as possible. However, there are necessary actions consumers must take to help us move their claims forward, such as submitting a receipt of purchase in this case. We require receipts to verify essential details that affect the protection plan, such as the item's price, date of purchase, and serial/IMEI numbers when applicable. Consumers are free to submit their receipts at any point before a claim, and we always recommend uploading them within a week of purchasing the item.We do direct our consumers to our website to submit any receipt information since it allows the consumer to move directly into filing a claim after submission.We understand the consumer has had difficulty with this step, so we have already reached our directly to assist, and have succeeded in providing a resolution.

Square trade refuse to resolve a claim that I have for a fitbit that I purchases for around $150.00. The problem with the product started in 1.8.2020, I file a claim #*** for the watch stop working, will not turn on- even after leaving on charger all day. Then in the process of mailing the watch back - it turn on so, I assume maybe it started to work. Then on 3.20 the same problem happen, the agent told me to use the same claim and mail it to be repair with charger and etc I did. This is doing the height on the covid-19 lock downs-. I gave a couple of weeks before I check on the product on 4.25.2020 I called square trade and they told me my item was fix on 4.7 and return to me on 4.9.2020. I replied I never received the my watch, they verified address and all - then they gave me a claim *** and told me to wait 48 HRs for a respond. Never got a respond I call back in 4 days, and was told I needed to wait 48 HRs business hours, which does not included weekend. Ok. I gave it another 2 day, and then I was told I needed to wait another 24 for the email. I received the email with a copy of sign FEDEX sheet with COV-19 in signature and that was the proof that square trade had for delivering my product. Square Trade told me to file a claim with FEDex which I did claim # *** and return Fedex told me to let square trade know the claim has been filed. I did this on 5.5.2020 with *** at Square Trade. Yesterday- I call Fedex and Square Trade in that order to check the status of my claim and FEDEX said the claim was decline by Square Trade and Square Trade just email me backing telling me that I need to file a tracker for the claim. Why should I continue to play phone tag with them when them. they need to file a tracker cause I did not received the product.

If a package is delivered and signed for with the customer's information, they are responsible for filing a tracer with FedEx. However, if a package is delivered without a signature or signed for by someone else, we will step in to assist. At this time, we have tracked the packed and reached out to FedEx confirming the package was delivered to the consumer's address. The package was also signed for by ***.

SQUARE TRADE is NOT worth it. If you are looking to replace an item that fails you, Square Trade will tell you they can't get a replacement and offer you a pro-rated cash offer. In my situation, my item broke and I asked for a replacement I was told I was only getting $16.50 back from my purchase. My item isn't terribly expensive, but to replace it is $60. So instead of being happy, by getting a replacement, or at least close to the $$ it cost to replace, I was given less than 1/3 of the actual cost in just over 1 year after purchase. LAME and not worth the extra expense to insure.

Communication is awful.
My beats head phones where basically super glued. What am I paying for???
