Terrible service, it took them offering me 4 TV's before I told them that I was not happy with the final one being offered and wanted my money back. They said they would be issuing me a one time refund by as of this writing no check received yet!

So I purchased an extended warranty through SquareTrade via Walmart. When I asked the employee does this cover everything because if not it is pointless. They answered yes it does. Few months down the line the items starts to act funny called and complained about that. The employee says I need a new remote and that will fix the problem. Few months later it is still acting up and not working properly. Son is cleaning his room where item is located. Does not fall or tip over. He turns it on cracks run up it and screen is cracked. Call warranty place to get it fixed says they won't fix because of physical damage. I'm mad as hell because the say they won't cover it I had to purchase a different policy.

We're very sorry for any issues encountered during the claims process. SquareTrade mirrors the manufacturer's coverage for our TV protection plans. Since TVs are intended to be stationary, not portable, accidental damage from handling is not covered or offered as additional coverage. The brochure displays different coverage types for different items when applicable.The SquareTrade warranty contract states, "What is not covered: Accidental damage, cracked or damaged monitor, laptop or display screens, liquid damage, lost buttons or knobs, etc. unless optional accidental damage from handling (ADH) coverage was offered and purchased at the time of sale with Your Protection Plan.Although we do our best work with all consumers, in some instances, we may be limited. As for this case, the issue was caused by physical damage, therefore, we were not able to process a claim. One of our specialists is reaching out to see how we might be able to be of further assistance.

I loved my *** HS camera but the shutter/lens cover stopped working properly. Square Trade's claim acceptance email said that a postage-paid (both way) send-in repair was my BEST option. I was happy to think my camera would be fixed & sent back. HOWEVER, to "complete" my claim, I had to call customer service. I was told I could NOT send the camera for repair & that Fast Cash was my only option. So I was given a partial purchase price refund instead, with no explanation from the customer service agent of why the lower amount. Now I have to put spend more $$$ with it to purchase the same model camera. I wanted was my camera REPAIRED!

My issue was handled by a personable and knowledgeable associate and was handled and resolved very quickly.

It was super easy to file a claim online. I highly recommend!

I had bought a treadmill for my wife and not long after started having problems with it so im glad I had taking a 3yr warranty on it thanks to trading square I called them the fellow took over he said we was covered by them and not even 5 minutes he had put a payment ona *** card so we could get another one ty so much trade square is a 5 star company ty

Fast response to claim. Got my check in a week.

I bought their service in *** club and paid 119.99 plus tax for coverage and I had to replace my phone and paid 1145 for a new one and when I placed the claim they only returned 610.99 claiming I only paid about 700 for a new *** 11 max pro. I have sent proof that I paid 120 ehere even the brochure itself states phones over 900 and more the coverage is 120

We do our best to make the consumer's experience as hassle-free as possible.As the offered resolution, we have recommended the consumer get their device repaired via a local repair shop and if a repair is not an option, then to obtain an out of warranty replacement from ***. The cost accrued would then be reimbursed upon the submission of a valid invoice.We provide the consumer with reimbursement up to the current market value set by the manufacturer on their website.We understand that there has been much confusion surrounding the reimbursement amount, so we have reached out to the consumer to provide additional support.All of the consumer's concerns have been addressed. We have come to an agreement that benefits both parties.

Square Trade has failed to deliver on their printer advertisement of 4 years warranty on electronics purchased at *** with a Plus membership. Somehow Square Trade make it the burden of the purchaser to proof memberships when they have a commercial relationship with *** and could easily verify memberships over the phone. In this time of global pandemic they expect the "customer" to produce written confirmation, else, there is no extra year of warranty for merchandise.

I purchased Bluetooth earbuds for my wife in December, advertised as Apple Airpods, and also purchased a SquareTrade warranty to cover and damage or repair, should it be necessary. In February, the air pods stopped working, and Apple indicated they could not repair the airpods, they indicated the airpods were not made by Apple. I contacted the seller and Ebay, neither could help, and then I filed my electronics warranty claim with SquareTrade. SquareTrade asked me to get a quote from a local repair shop and email it to them, which I did, and they said they would contact me with 48hrs. The repair shop quote was greater than my original purchase price. Well, after 2 follow-up emails and nearly 8 weeks later, SquareTrade has still not returned my call, or responded to my emails. They are not being responsive and thus far, have not honored the warranty I purchased. This is just bad customer support.

Once the consumer has completed and submitted the document, we will finalize their resolution.We understand that there has been confusion stemming from our chosen form of communication, which has excited this complaint. SquareTrade Customer service keeps pointing their fingers to retailer but the plan bought under them. They just made you give up with the claims. The talk has never resolved anything. Every talk is started back from beginning

We will honor the consumer's agreement and have already contacted them to do so.

Bought a office chair with a care plan from ***. The chair went bad under warranty and no one called me back or followed up. Made three phone calls to attempt to resolve the problem with no follow up from Square Trade. This company is a scam........avoid

I purchased a warranty for my son's iPad through SquareTrade. The purchase was made at Costco. I made the purchase for the iPad at Target. I have provided receipts for both. My son's iPad will no longer charge and is within the two year warranty time frame. I was told to turn off my "find my iPhone" feature on the iPad. Then I was email 3 times to to call and have my iPad in front of me. The lady on the phone was NO help and terribly rude! She told me she could not help me. Why did I buy the warranty thinking I was covered by SquareTrade for two years if they provided NO HELP! That is their whole point of business.

I dropped my *** Pro and smashed the screen. I could not even run my finger across it due to shards of glass. Square Trade sent me a prepaid *** label, off the *** went. They turned it around the same day. My *** was back in my hands in 4 business days. It looks like new. I am so very happy I purchased the Square Trade accident insurance. Best money I ever spent. Absolutely the easiest process I've ever experience with a company.

Great insurance for electronics, it gives you a peace of mind knowing you have it.

I purchased a 50' Phillis television at *** located on *** on 02/26/20. The sales person in electronics asked if we would like a 3 year protection plan on our purchase, which would include any occurrence, except theft. We agreed to get the protection plan. On 05/04/20 my dog bumped into our tv stand and knocked the television off of the stand. I initially attempted to file a claim online. After I submitted the claim, I received an email stating there was a problem with my claim and to call in to customer service to resolve the issue. I called into customer service on 05/06/20 and spoke to two representatives. The first female representative went through the entire claim process and then said that our television was not covered for accidental damage. I immediately requested a manager because this is a case of false advertising. I waited on the telephone for over twenty minutes to speak to a manager (named ***). My first thought when speaking to *** was that he was chilling by a pool, because there was a terrible sound of wind on the phone and a terrible echo. It was very difficult to understand what was being said. We explained our situation to *** despite the telephone complications. We told *** that the *** associate who sold us this plan ensured that it covered everything except theft. I asked if *** received many complaints for false advertising, as even the brochure that was given to us states that the coverage protects the device from any occurrence, including accidental. *** said we are the only complaint. NOT BELIEVABLE! *** stated that he would let his superiors know that the "*** associates will receive more training." They are attempting to push the problem off to ***, when Square Trade is actually the company that is scamming folks!

The only help that *** provided was an offer for a pro-rated refund on the insurance plan. When I asked for the refund on the plan (since the coverage is worthless anyway), *** stated because I purchased these items less than 90 days ago, I need to go into a store to receive my refund.

If there was less then a star I would give them
They are thieves, don't waste your money, purchase 2 plans along with my *** electronic purchase for 2-year warranty, took my money and never send me a receipt, when I called they said its not on their system, I forwarded to them my bank statement showing that they took my money and the purchase I have on my *** which has the order number and ID number still they said it is not sufficient and they can't locate it!!! And they are saying they cant refund me as well
Its been more than a week with the same outcome no warranties and no money back even after contacting the manager. Finally, I got my money back from my bank as I filed a dispute and I am gonna contact consumer services. This is a joke

1. Put in a claim and was approved for a replacement TV it was supposed to be delivered Saturday from 7-1 pm . 5/2
2. I called the delivery that morning and they said to confirm it was going to be delivered during that time frame. 1pm came around and nothing , I got no call or email. I called and the square trade company said it was out of our hands call the delivery.
Called them and they said item was out of stock then another person said it was in stock and another person said they had no idea.
3. I Called square trade and they kept transferring me to different people and kept having to re explain and nothing came out of it . They just said it was out of our hands and will forward the info on but to whom? I still have received no update or anything to get my replacement tv since then and the call center people have no idea what they are doing. I
I have wasted hours of my time waiting and calling for my replacement tv and nothing. What did I pay for ? WHy did I pay for the warranty if the customer service is horrible and can't handle an easy replacement.

We also do our best to give updates of every step to ensure a positive customer experience. For TV claims, the television is ordered from a vendor and set up for delivery. These are delivered by ground, and the standard delivery time is 7-10 business days due to the fragile device being transported. Again, we are very sorry for any frustration you have endured. Nonetheless, we are to have come to a satisfactory resolution.

The entire process was easy and smooth. I don’t feel like typing any more.

computer was broken. When j found the receipt I was able to file a claim. Within 10 days I had sent it off. It was fixed and then sent back to me. Great service .
