I purchased a TV during Black Friday at Target, during my transaction I decided to purchase the insurance on the TV at an extra cost through Square Trade, I was informed that if there were any electrical problems with the TV that it would be covered for three years. I decided to get the insurance, and now i’m having problems with the TV, there are two lines of dead pixels any time I use anything on the HDMI. When I called, they tried to scapegoat the problem and blame it on my devices which work perfectly fine with any other TV in the house, and refuse to replace the TV. They offered me 150$, which doesn’t even remotely cover a replacement, and refused to repair the TV due to COVID. The manager didn’t want to help me, he wanted to get rid of me. This is a scam if they’re telling you they’ll replace the product you’re paying them to insure, and I am very unhappy. I will be filing a complaint with the FTC as well.

I bought a warranty for my Surface. I sent it in to repair for water damage. They sent it back with windows 8 instead of windows 10 and I had to spend 3-5 hours on the phone with Microsoft to fix this. In addition the repair wasn't even done- there was still water damage on my screen when I got it back.

The warranty was reasonable when I got my cell phone. When I broke my cell phone it was quick and easy to apply and receive my loan through the online process. I received my refund through the loan process quickly and without effort!

Extremely consumer friendly. I was able to submit my claim with ease. Approval for the claim was also, extremely quick. I’ve filed two claims in the past. Both claimed were fulfilled with in a week.

Answered all questions and always there to answer phone waiting to see what happens with my iPad. So far process is easy

They give me replacements for my item but they asked for transaction from over year and half and the item box which is not fair but luckily I have them

Once we got past that the order was a NEW Vintage item being sold on Ebay by a 3rd party things seemed to go,,,,ahhh ok...Except, the amount was not what I paid for the item...it was like Term Life Insurance Policy...pay one price up front for coverage...but the end payoff is less...I disputed the claim as I had paid $34.35 for the item, $2.99 for the Square Trade Policy, $.20 in tax AND $10.80 to have it shipped to my son. Originally Square Trade only wanted to 'give back' $30 and change!
I had to argue for getting at least the amount paid for the item...they came back with them wanting me to drive from my house in Titusville FL to Middleburg FL (145 miles / 2 Hrs & 26 Min - According to BING just 1 way) get the item and ship it back to them, with their prepaid FedEx shipping label, to get the "full" refund...I then had to apply the KISS principal...290 miles round trip, ~ 5 hours of driving time, packing, arranging pickup...not to mention what they would pay FedEx for the pickup/transport/delivery was way beyond any level of being efficient! I told them I would forgo the Policy/Tax/S & H and was only asking for the amount paid for the item. DONE!

Amidst a pandemic, my TV finally bit the dust. I’ve had it for better than four years and When I bought it, the customer service person HIGHLY recommended adding the additional insurance in case the tv broke or was defective. I’m truly glad I did!

After troubleshooting and giving all the necessaries to the Square Trade Agent, I had a brand new replacement TV at my front door in less than a week.

My claim was approved in 2 hrs and the check came in a week. Seemed easier than I thought.

I emailed the company and told them I had a problem with my Hamilton Beach Coffee maker and I received a check in the mail within a week. Now that is great service.

I've used Square Trade many times for extra protection, but have only had to make claims a few times. It's always an easy process and the representatives are often understanding, helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

Easy process to file a claim and wonderful ce.

Could not have been better. I bought a circuit board for a range. I purchased a 3 year warranty. It failed in 2. They refunded my purchase price in full, less the price of the warranty, of course. It was easy, the claim process was a cinch. I will continue to buy Squaretrade warranties when I feel I need the coverage.
