A part broke on our Breville juicer and they paid almost enough to purchase an entire new juicer. I was very pleasantly surprised. I got the new juicer and purchased another SquareTrade warranty on it.

Worst experience ever with a warranty service! I will make sure any and all future purchases of mine aren’t with SquareTrade-
I purchased a prepaid iPhone 7 that wasn’t turning on...they wanted me to pre pay for any and all repairs. I’m sorry! That’s not going to happen firstly because, I know how reimbursements work and secondly you buy insurance for a reason. I had no deductible btw....so after I put it aside and thought I’ve eaten $250 I went contract with REAL protection. But, maybe just maybe SquareTrade only does this to the company of their choosing eg; store you purchased. I mean I am random. And after all this why just why not refund the purchase price? Word of mouth is powerful-
They don't fulfill claims takes money .terrible service.makes promises and don't follow through .
You have to be persistent to claim your benefits. I got most of the purchase price back after some runarounds, inability to locate my account, requests to call in a couple of days, etc. I got an impression that customer care representatives are disincentivised from being helpful. However, in the end it worked for me. However, I can easily see how some people may give up.

Excellent service. I only had to make one call to resolve the issue. All the necessary information was handled promptly and courteously. I received the check in less than one week.
I had a problem with a sewing machine I bought Sept. 2018. I went to the Square Trade website, and it kept kicking me out. I chatted with a rep, he pulled my info from their system then put it into my account. All I did was confirm everything. I received a message saying my claim was be processed and I was being awarded a check. Within 5 days I had a check in my mailbox. These people took me at my word and that meant a lot to me. I will always take out a warranty when I buy a product I will be using every day. Now I will be buying a new sewing machine.
I have all of our phones, iPads, apple watches and audio electronics covered by this excellent home warranty company. SquareTrade has been a great savior when devices had accidental drops. Thanks SquareTrade for resolving the claims instantly without a long wait.
Not Great! Used to be greater service in the earlier days than lately. Sometimes agents don't seem to understand what I'm saying in the chat sessions???

I have a "Square Trade" warranty on my TCL television that I purchased through amazon. It's been having audio issues for months, the audio is out of sync with the picture. They took me through a process to reset the software a while back, and that fixes it temporarily, but the problem returns after a few hours or a few days. Today I called in, and they took over an hour to guide me through the same process, a process that could have taken 10 minutes. Some of the steps were necessary to eliminate potential problems. With others, they were either completely incompetent or lying.
They told me I needed to buy a brand new HDMI cable to continue testing because my HDMI cable was causing the audio to be out of sync. For the non-tech saavy, HDMI is a digital signal, meaning the TV receives all data or the data is corrupted and there is no signal. This also wouldn't explain how every app on the TV has the same audio problem. They repeatedly tried to get me to take other steps that had nothing to do with the problem. Their suggestions seemed to fit around the theme of the conversation, "Waste as much time and make this as difficult as possible so the customer will give up."
The customer service rep claimed to be a tech specialist, but seemed to be just reading off a script. He didn't respond to what I said, and would give lengthly, 2-3 explanations of unnecessary details, and continued to do so even after I politely asked him to stop (and just get on with whatever the next action was). The guy seemed like a good dude, he was very polite in his tone, except he didn't respond to anything I said and lied and said I used profanity at one point after I called him out on continuing to waste my time. It was very strange.
I've called in twice now and they've had me do the same thing "unplug tv, hold power button for 60 seconds," It worked the first time and then the problem returned, I tried this 2 more times on my own and each time the problem would be temporarily fixed but return in a matter of days. After the call today where I did the same thing (although it took over an hour to do so) the TV was temporarily fixed again and the guy tried to end the call like he had fixed the problem. When I told him that I had done this several times before with similar results he would act like he heard me and then continue on with his nonsensical explanations. He told me "well, if this is like a doctor, I cannot fix it if there are no symptoms." I explained that, "what you are doing is like me coming into the doctor with repeated chronic pains; you give me a painkiller and then tell me you can't investigate any further because I don't feel any pain." Again, he did not respond to my words.
For the next step after we got off the phone, they requested that I send them pictures of the problem. Yes, they wanted photos of my audio problem. It's like I'm talking to badly-programmed robots.

Did not help me resolve or fix my issue with product. Feel like a big waste of purchase for square trade protection.
A few issues in the beginning of the claim, but they have 24/7 support that is very good and they made good on the warranty. Got a full refund for my broken item.
Purchased insurance plan on chair with Square Trade .. I filed a complaint in 2/5/2020 for a chair that I purchased on 9/5/2019(3 year warranty) I was told on 2/5/2020 via chat that my claim was approved but since then I have been given the run around after I was told the chair would be replaced. As to this date, I still have no received a replacement. Now today on 2/25/2020 I received an email from Irene asking me for additional pictures of the chair. I have already provided pictures initially and information but went ahead and sent them to her again even though my claim was approved on 2/5/2020.

I had a great experience with SquareTrade. My initial call was handled wonderfully, an email arrived within a couple hours accepting my claim & including shipping instructions & a mailing label.
I received an email when my laptop arrived at the repair center, it did take longer than the 2-5 business days to finish the work but I do realize I'm not the only person sending in an item to be repaired. I received an email on Sunday stating that my laptop had been repaired & was being shipped back via FedEx, the tracking number was included, & was informed it would arrive on Tuesday. It did & fired right up. I was happy with the process & very happy with all aspects of the process. Thank you. Marcia K
