I purchased a product protection plan from square trade ,and never recieved my refund. I tried for way over a month, and many phone calls, and always the same thing. We are sorry , and we will get you a rrfund in two buisness days. Spoke to several supervisors who said they would fix the problem, and nothing happened. I will never buy a protection plan from *** again as it is just a waste to money. Very disappointed that *** would put up with this.
If I could give them 0 stars I would. I received a confirmation email saying they received my laptop and it should be fixed within 2-5 business days. That was over 3 weeks ago. I was told earlier this week they'd receive the parts to fix it by today. I'm on the phone with them and they've said they're still waiting on parts. I'm not quite sure where they're shipping parts from that it's taking 3 weeks + to receive them. I use my laptop for work and am borrowing one while I await them keeping mine for as long as they please. When I try to speak with a manager all they say is that they can send an escalation to the repair center.
They were misleading, happy to take my money. I had 3 different policies and they told me to read the small print didn't cover anything and cost me a ton of money. Thought my product was covered now just junk I will never do business with them again and want everyone to know about them
Had color deteriorate on oled tv and square trade just said to send pictures which didn’t really show the issue. They denied my claim by email without any real research. Never again will I purchase square trade insurance and suggest no one else do so.
Purchased a insurance protection plan from Squaretrade. Upon desire to file a claim, Squaretrade stated that the warranty that Walmart sold me was "invalid due to company policy." After Squaretrade disallowed me to even file a claim, later, they posted onto my online account "Claim Closed." This is bait and switch. How can a claim that was never filed be closed? Bottom line, Squaretrade is not square. This is fraud.
This case is currently being reviewed. A Square Trade representative will be in contact with the consumer once it's finalized.
I purchased an extended warranty for a Samsung TV good for 5 years. After just over 3 years my TV developed vertical and horizontal lines across the screen. I was thankful I had the extended warranty. SquareTrade, however, told me that it doesn't cover my issue. How convenient - for them! Pretty much defeats the point of buying an extended warranty.
The TV was not dropped or abused in any other way. The TV shows absolutely no sign of damage. Yet, based on pictures of the screen, they determined this: "we have found clear indication of physical damage on your television"
We're sorry we were unable to approve the consumers' recent claim. The policy covering the consumers' product is a Standard plan, which protects against hardware and electrical failures due to normal usage. Upon verification of the pictures submitted, the picture review team was able to identify that the issue is considered physical damage. Unfortunately, this plan does not cover physical damage, this is why we are unable to approve the claim.Square Trade works to ensure our plans are advertised properly, we provide consumers' access to their warranties at any time via our website or mobile app. If desired we can also provide a copy of the warranty contract via email, or hard copy upon request which provides more details regarding the policy coverage. We again apologize for any inconvenience.
Thank you
Shuffled from one place to another. Each time I called, I was given same instructions as previously. Kept telling each representative that I had already done that. Told to do it again. Kept being told they didn't have my Warranty info & I would need to submit it again. I would tell them I had already re-submitted & give them the numbers off the Warranty. Then would be told it had been found. Wondered if I was being put off because it was close to Warranty expiring. It has now expired after me spending past year being shuffled around & getting irritated. I have notified them that I filed a claim before the Warranty expired & I expect to be helped. Went through some of same problems with grandson's *** It had to be replaced 2 times.
Its worth it! Definitely recommend. If this is something you need/want, this is the way to go. No problems or complaints here.
I dropped my 2-year-old laptop. Took out Square Trade extended warranty at the time of
purchase. Put in a claim and Square Trade informed me the laptop was not reparable.
From the time I put in the claim until I had a check for the amount of the laptop was less than
two weeks.
Square Trade stepped up and refunded the price of the laptop without any runaround.
The next laptop or any item over a few hundred will be insured by Square Trade.
Excellent, quick service. My iPad came back better than new and with absolutely no issues!
Easy transaction while using the credit given for the item
Program worked as promised. Hassle free processing. Refund was processed in a reasonable time frame.
Fast and easy transaction. Very, very happy. I'm so glad we purchased Square Trade warranty.
The SquareTrade customer service seems to have been on a gradual decline since AllState acquired them. I have an accidental SquareTrade warranty. The laptop was dropped. For the 1st and 2nd repairs, they repaired issues with the AC adapter, DC dock, damage to laptop body, operating system clean install, etc, but never fixed the battery. For the 3rd repair, the battery drainage was the sole issue and the repair team looked at it, but yet the issue still persists! And here's the funny thing: The SquareTrade team tried to convince me that there were no problems found with the laptop despite documenting the issue several times in detail. Seriously?
I have gone now through at least 3 lengthy repairs via SquareTrade. The SquareTrade repair team has never been able to properly diagnose and fix the severe battery problem with my laptop. And while they can reimburse for local repairs, they want to pay for the repairs upfront before reimbursing me. This is ridiculous. All because SquareTrade's repair team was incompetent in fixing the problem. I do not have the money to pay for hefty upfront local repair costs. So far I have had an unpleasant customer experience and I'm extremely dissatisfied with the solutions offered. There has been too much hassle and I can't take anymore. I'm never buying a PC laptop again, especially not with a SquareTrade plan.
We apologize for any inconvenience during the claim process Square trade uses certified technicians to complete our repairs, of whom extensively audit every product that we service coming into our facilities.Upon the initial audit diagnostic testing, the technicians were not able to replicate the issue that the consumer was having with the laptop therefore it was returned to the consumer. We understand the consumer felt that the proper diagnostic wasn't done to replicate the issue, as it has been an ongoing issue. We have reviewed the account and was able to see that a new claim has been made the appropriate claim notes have been made to make sure that the issue is addressed correctly this time around. A pre-paid shipping label was mailed to the consumer. We want to turn the consumers' experience around and have provided the consumer with a full warranty reimbursement. We appreciate the consumer allowing us to resolve the issue this time around, once again we apologize for any inconvenience.
Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
I was extremely busy the time the call was made. The voicemail was left to my phone although the volume was extremely low and hard to hear (I had to listen to the voicemail several times to jot down the number the person left in the message). I left a voicemail at ***. I am waiting for the person to contact me back with more in-depth details with a phone that has better volume.
Sincerely

Have always had great customer service when filing a warranty claim on my products. Fast, satisfactory claim response and resolution each and every time I have dealt with this company.
Very happy with Square Trade! They made the process quick and easy. Highly recommend them for your warranty needs.
Stayed on the phone helped me until I was done. Fast and accurate
I dropped my cell phone Christmas Day and shattered the screen, I called all over town to get another screen and it was around 300.00. I was not gonna pay that, so I contacted my cell phone provider. I have insurance and so they sent me a claim form, via email and I filled it out and they accepted it and I overnighted my phone and they fixed it and over nighted it back the next day I had my phone good as new. Customer service was awesome, quick and painless.
Quick and easy protocol to handle my business.
Thank you SquareTrade, we will continue to work together.
Cheers,
Satisfied Customer
Quick and easy. 15 mins and I was done with a check in the mail for my warranty item. Would definitely use again.
