I am beyond disappointed in my recent experience. I filled a claim. I have received not one. But three locked phones. I purchased a brand new unlocked phone. This is clearly just ppl not doing their jobs properly very time consuming. Now they have no clue when I will receive replacement
We want to apologize for the experience. SquareTrade aims to make the claim process hassle-free and always want to provide an immediate resolution to our customers. We understand that not having the working phone on hand is not making this process any easier. A Manager has been in communication with the consumer regarding this situation. Currently, we are waiting on the devices that were sent to the consumer to be delivered back to us to resolve the issue on hand.We have provided a full warranty refund via check due to this experience.Thank you

I am rejecting this response because:It’s been two weeks. I received an email saying 5-7 more days.
Sincerely
SquareTrade confirmed that the returned device was delivered to our facilities on the 20th of November.
On that same date a new phone was ordered to deliver to the consumers home. Upon verification of the *** tracking that the seller provided us.
We were able to confirm that the unit delivered the very next day to the consumer on the 21st of November.
Thanks
Very good communication and response time, fast repair and return shipment.
They replaced my broken phone with a phone that was in worse condition. It would not charge or make calls. The phone they sent was obviously not refurbished. It was difficult working with the claims department, I was transferred multiple times, and had to explain the issues from the beginning each time. One representative told me "we are not allowed to stay on the phone with customers this long." I had to beg him not to hang up because I had already been transferred 3 times, and had been on the phone with them for 1.5 hours. My issue was finally resolved by them sending me a refund check for the broken phone.
After a bit of struggle to locate the warranty for the specific item, things went fairly smoothly. Didn’t read the fine print on my warranty that says your item is prorated if it needs to be paid out, which was a bit annoying but otherwise... A REAL smooth warranty cost replacement. I’d use them again!
Great!I had a router go bad was expecting a problem because it was an electronic but fast reply and fast getting my money back .You would be crazy not to get it , it's cheap and who covers electronics now days.
I purchased a hover board and 3 year warranty plan through *** on 11/20/2018. The hover board was a Christmas gift. The recipient of the hover board informed me that the product would charge, but would not turn on to be used. I called representatives at *** to file a claim on the hover board. However, the representative, Reggie, told me that since it had been less than a year since purchase, I would have to contact the manufacturer. Hoverheart is the manufacturer of the hover board and I called to speak with a representative. The representative, Lily, informed me that Hoverheart issues a 90 day guarantee and that time period had passed. Lily then told me that I would have to seek to file a claim using the 3 year warranty I had bought through Walmart. I then called *** and spoke with a representative named Amarion who told me to follow the steps listed in an email he would send me and file a claim online. As I tried to go through the steps online to file a claim, I noticed that the manufacturer for the hover board was unlisted and once again called ***. I believe the representative's name was Mark, and I deeply apologize if that is incorrect. He informed me that since the product never seemed to work, he would not be able to apply my warranty and would only be able to refund me the $22.00 I paid for the warranty. The hover board has been fully insured since the day it was purchased. The warranty guidelines should be honored fully and not disregarded on a false basis of technicalities. As listed in the operator's manual, step one for operating the hover board is charging it. Since that was in compliance, and the hover board was able to be charged, it was functioning in some capacity. That means that the terms of the warranty are still applicable and should be honored fully.
We apologize for any dissatisfaction with our claims process.*** utilizes the manufacturer warranty for all items we cover, as this provides multiple benefits for our consumers. If the manufacturer refuses to honor their warranty, or if the warranty is less than the one year *** can instead immediately step in to assist. By providing manufacture referral resolution, *** is honoring our contract, and we save the warranty for any future claim, which is why our protection plans run concurrently. We understand that the consumer feels that we are not honoring our warranty coverage due to the issue that is happening to the Hoverboard. We want to turn this experience around. In this case, since the Hoverboard is charging and not powering on. We are going to make a one-time exception and reimburse the consumer for the amount paid for the Hoverboard. As a courtesy, via check, though, this is an exception to the standard process. Thanks, JR

I purchased a warrenty for my two iphones on Nov 24th.. I made a claim in July, which was very difficult to do, they also charged me 40.00 to make the claim after I paid 40 for the claim so im almost paying for the phone anyways why buy a warrenty? (which I was unawre of all these charges) I finally get the phone it was rose which was not what I had I had silver and it works for days nd then dont even work they tried to charge me another 40 I had to argue that thy sent me a faulty phone. it was a hassle and hrrible experience.soi goto make a claim on my other phone an they tell me it was for one phone which when I purchased it they said nothing bout it being for one phone so no whtye wont even send me a new phone for the 40 of course
We apologize for any miscommunication.SquareTrade works to ensure our plans are advertised properly; we provide consumers' access to their warranties and contract terms and conditions at any time via our website or mobile app. The warranty covers the consumer for the length of the plan (coverage term) or until the coverage amount is met (limit of liability), whichever comes first. In this instance, the consumer received a total of two replacements that exceeded the limit of liability. Square Trade provides a 30-day warranty for the replacement. The last claim was filed in July; we were no longer able to file a claim on the account. Being that we have provided a replacement resolution and have met the consumer's coverage limit, we have met our obligations beneath this warranty. We again apologize for any inconvenience.Thank you

I am rejecting this response because: This was not what was told to me when I made the purchase I bought the plan for both phones.. I made one claim on one phone and you guys sent me a none working phone and made another claim for your faulty phone I am also filing claims with walmart sams club and anyone else you do bad business with to warn all the un knowing customers. what a scam!!!
Sincerely
We apologize for any inconvenience. We understand that the consumer was misinformed at the time of purchase on how the warranty work. As a courtesy, we will provide reimbursement for the cost of the phone via check though this is an exception to the standard process. We hope that this will turn the consumer experience around. Thanks
The customer service is great! Everything went very smooth and quick. I am very pleased with the whole process.
I've used square trade twice in the last year . They were awesome with replacement of my electronic device . With in an hour I had the refund to got purchase a new device
Quick help. Decide my tv was bad after some over the phone troubleshooting. Had a new and I believe, better, tv delivered in 4 days. I'm very satisfied.
Absolutely excellent! Customer service was easy and beyond helpful! My reimbursement check came unbelievably fast! Thanks so much for truly working hard for your clients!
I have used Square Trade on three separate occasions and each time the response was quick and accurate. I would never even consider purchasing any electronic device without adding Square Trade.
Very good service once we got through all the diagnostic. Very quick your around
Navigation on website very easy. I only got so far as my tv was still covered by *** Conciere (sp?) service. Square trade directed me to them and provided contact information. Very pleased with the limited service that they were able to provide.
I purchased a warrenty protection plan on a cell phone from Square Trade. I dropped the phone and it got damaged so I filed a claim with Square Trade. They granted the claim. They emailed me a shipping label to ship the phone back so they could refund my money. I recieved the shipping label thru email. I then packaged and labeled the phone and took it to a local *** to be shipped. *** had a shipping box. The cashier scanned the label and took my email address and said I will recieve a traking number. A couple weeks passed and I called Square Trade who informed me they never received the phone and I needed to contact *** to find out what happened. *** said to contact fedex and fedex daid contact Squaretrade cause they didnt have a tracking number. All the while no one told me at first that the shipping label had the tracking number the whole time. Square Trade was aware but continued to tell me they had no way to track the phone. I contacted the manager of *** and asked her if she had survielance footage of me bringing in package. She was kind enough to check and told me she saw the whole transaction including the fedex driver picking up the package. I contacted fedex again and was finally told that square trade did have the tracking numbr and they were lying to me the whole time. I contacted square trade who kept denying that they could track it even though I told them what fedex said. Fedex had explained to me that the shipping label was generated by Square Trade and the label contained the tracking number which was in Square Trade records the whole time.
We apologize for any inconvenience. We reviewed the consumer account and was able to verify that the shipping label used to send in the defective phone was the incorrect one. On the 18th of October, this was explained to the consumer. We were able to address the situation with the account and processed the payment on the 22nd of October. An email confirmation was sent informing that payment was sent along with the address it was mailed. In this case, since the consumer hasn't received payment, we will escalate this with the accounting team to make sure the original check gets voided, and a new payment gets processed. As a courtesy, we will refund the consumer the price of the warranty via check though this is an exception to the standard process. Thanks

I am rejecting this response because: They continue to be untruthful about how I was being handled concerning the complaint. I was never told anything about any wrong label. I do accept that this company is very dishonest. I really will never deal with them again. They kept telling me over and over again that they couldnt track the package because they didnt have a tracking number that they generated. Im not sure why they kept playing that game. I do know that my email address identifies me in a religious way as to my choice of religion. It seems that they may have tried to fustrate me on purpose. A couple of thier reps commented on my email address. At any rate they have let me know they dont want my business and Im fine with that.
Sincerely
We apologize for the claim experience. We were able to resolve the shipping label situation. Squaretrade provided the consumer with the reimbursement check. Thanks
I had bought a front and rear facing camera from ***. Then bought a Four year Square trade warranty three months later from SquareTrade. two years later camera went bad called SquareTrade Will not honor the warranty ,they said I bought it from *** which I did not. I have spoken to *** and they do not have an order for it as this was bought through SquareTrade and again Square trade refused to honor their warranty that they had sold to me. Square trade said I can have my money back that I paid for the warranty but they will not honor their warranty. *** had gotten involved ,SquareTrade will Not honor their warranty. I have asked square trade saying that the warranty was bought three months after the purchase of the camera why did they sell it to me when they knew they were not going to honor this agreement. Square trade has no answer for this their only answer is from their playbook and will not vary from that at all. Square trade has also told *** that they will not Honor this agreement.
Company does not provide the services they bill you for. They refer you to contacting the manufacturer. If I wanted to deal with the hassle of going to manufacturers and such, I wouldn't be buying their warranty service. This is a scam service.
We apologize for any dissatisfaction with our claims process. This claim was denied and was referred to the manufacturer SquareTrade utilizes the manufacturer warranty for all items we cover, as this provides multiple benefits for our consumers. If the manufacturer refuses to honor their warranty, SquareTrade can instead immediately step in to assist. This is one of our standard resolutions. We do compensate for any shipping costs accrued in sending the item to the manufacturer, which doesn't deduct the value of the consumers' coverage. By providing manufacture referral resolution, SquareTrade is honoring our contract, and we save the warranty for any future claim, which is why our protection plans run concurrently. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience the consumer encountered. Thanks, JR
We apologize for the experience. At this point SquareTrade will step in to assist the consumer. We have sent an email to the consumer to provide us with the copy of the receipt in order to proceed as this information is not provided to squaretrade and is needed to make sure that the consumer is covered for upto the amount that they paid for their item. Thanks,JR

I am satisfied with the process of my claim. I will recommend Square Trade to family & friends.
One thing I would like to suggest. Put the mfr, model number and serial number on the warranty agreement. It would be really helpful to keep all of my Square Trade warranties organized. Im sure I'm not the only one wanting this.
Excellent service. Computer was repaired and returned quickly. This is the 2nd computer to be repaired with the same great service. We are very pleased. Love a square trade.
Square Trade was awesome and easy to deal with. I would totally use them again and highly recommend.
