My *** TV stopped working after 4 years that I purchased from *** and I had purchased the extended warranty with Square Trade. I called representative and they walked me through several things trying to get TV to work and after several attempts TV still would not work. Square Trade sent me a replacement TV. I highly recommend purchasing Square Trade extended warranty.
They helped us when the manufacturer wouldn't and left us with a brand new broken product. I am now able to her a new better product and I will once again get the extended warranty!!

Hello! I have a 'warranty' with ***. Last week I was printing a document I print 100x's a week when my printer began to throw out all sorts of errors-- from drum errors to paper jams (which were not occurring) to an error that the 'optical photo conductor' needed repaired. When I attempted to resolve this issue with ***, their website was down. (Last Wednesday). Sunday I finally called them directly to try to get the ball moving with repairs. We troubleshooted the issue and I was told that a technician would be emailing myself to schedule a time to come out to repair within 24-48 hours. Those 24-48 hours came and went, so yesterday I called them again. I had to go through the same 30 minute troubleshooting ordeal only to be told (again) that I would have to wait 24-48 hours for a technician to call to schedule an appointment. Today I attempted to call them to schedule the appointment (with my claim number). This was my *3rdcall to them. This time they told myself it sounds like a 'drum' issue-- so instead of sending out a technician right away, they are now sending out a series of drums for my printer. Once I receive these drums I then have to wait for the company to receive notice the drums have arrived, and then its another 'a technician will call you in 24-48 hours to install the drums.' I'm a small business owner who paid a lot of money for this service. I also will be looking at over 2 weeks once this is all done (hopefully no longer) to resolve this issue. I'm literally losing money every day over this issue, and, have no idea when it will be resolved as I'm getting the run around. This has cost hours of my time, countless frustrations, and a lot of money printing documents out at a Staples. . .
We apologize for the consumer experience. *** warranties are in place to make sure that the consumers' items are fully functional. In this case, when the claim was approved, parts were ordered.However, when the technician provided information indicating that the part are not available, we move the consumer claim resolution to reimbursement. The payment will be processed within one business day and mailed via USPS. Thank you, JR
didn't receive shipping label they finally took a picture and emailed it. 2 weeks and still no "gift card" for new phone not happy
My office chair wore out and the leather was peeling. My warranty was within months of expiring. Square Trade Sent a check to replace the chair within a week. Very pleasantly surprised.
Fantastic way to protect your camera gear. To make a claim was so simple and easy. Square Trade had my camera fixed in a little over a week. Great product!

Misleading advertisement, very little concern about customer satisfaction. They tell you they offer you a replacement but what they dont make clear is that it will certainly be a refurbished model of what you're trying to replace and it's not a true equal replacement of what you've lost. In other words youre not really getting your product guaranteed. I attempted to replace an *** plus...it took them 3x to get me a phone that worked properly ex: they provided me with 2 *** phones for a replacement for my factory *** plus....but the *** phones dont allow you to surf the internet when on a call...then the 3rd phone was faulty and had to be returned.....the 4th phone I received was a ***......and it has had all sort of issues....last week the multi media quit working on it....I called in several months ago regarding other issues and they said they couldn't help because they already helped me before (by replacing my phone with a crappy phone) needless to say the other items I have an issue with is: 1) an *** plus is waterproof...but the phones they provide you with arent because they break the seal to "refurbish them", 2) my camera is of poor quality very fuzzy/grainy pictures I noticed when I started printing out pics not too long ago.....the speaker phone doest work and has an annoying background noise that everyone says they cant hear me over, 3rd) I've been forced to use *** as it being a *** unit I'm forced to use and where I live at t- mobile has horrible service....so long and short of it is I got the shafted on this deal or "warranty" and I'm PISSED essentially they dont "guarantee" their replacement product.
We're sorry to hear the consumer has experienced difficulty with our replacements, as this is never what we want for our consumers. SquareTrade extensively tests our replacements, and these products are only utilized if they pass full hardware diagnostics as this is stated within our terms and conditions. SquareTrade provides a 30 warranty for the replacement phones that are issued as it covers any mechanical or electrical issues. In this instance, six months have passed since the last replacement was mailed.Upon review of the warranty, the consumer coverage has been completed. The warranty covers for the length of the plan (coverage term) or until the coverage amount is met (limit of liability), whichever comes first. In this case, the limit of liability has been met. Since the consumer has met the warranty limit and therefore completed the plan.We have processed a deductible refund as a courtesy, via check though this is an exception to the standard process.Thank you

When offering insurance on tech devices. It is always implied that their insurance covers everything. From manufacturing errors to human errors. And this is not the case. They take your money. You think you’re covered. You send them your device. They send it back stating. Not covered.
So basically. They have borrowed your money. And now offers it back when you discover they in fact do not cover what they claim.

The policy covering the consumers' product was a Standard plan, which protects against hardware and electrical failures due to normal usage. Unfortunately, this plan does not cover physical damage; this is why we were unable to approve their claim.*** works to ensure our plans are advertised properly, and we provide customers access to their warranties at any time via our website or mobile app. We understand that the consumer felt this is not the case. In this case, we have determined a reimbursement resolution was the best option as a one-time exception via check though this is an exception to the standard process. This business offers continuing warrenties at check out at lots of different businesses. They wasted weeks & tons of anxiety trying to get them to exacute the warrenty process. First it was valid but still under manufacterers warrenty, then it wasn't under manufacrurers warrenty. Then they reopened the "valid" case. Then they told me it was not valid due to adiscrepency with dates, even though I purchased the warrenty at time of checkout of the electronic purchase on Amazon. What a waste of weeks trying to get this taken care of, when supposidly somehow the whole time my plan was invalid. And this is not the 1st time this has happened to me with company. I will NEVER waste my $ through this company ever again. I reccomend that if you would like to purchase an extended warrenty, go through another American company. It is so sad in our day & age of society that fraud has become so prominante in so many companies, especially foreign owned companies. They are the theives & detriment to our aconomy. They can care less about us. I wish American citizens would relize this already. So sad.

The item the consumer is trying to file a claim on the purchase date was March 23, 2019, which makes the warranty invalid. *** warranty is sold at the moment that the item is purchased or within the first 30 days of purchase of the item, not beforehand. We suggest that the consumer to verify the transaction of the purchase since it could be associated with another item that was purchased through the re-seller. Mobile Phone was not covered as they say. Its a total ripoff. I would not recommend you use this insurance. What they sell as an insurance is worthless, and their customer service leaves little to be desired. They out of their kind heart will be refunding you your payment and do not repair or replace the item. They are bunch of
Please save yourself some money. This is a ripoff company, just like all the other warranty insurance company. They will send you the money you paid for their policy but will not repair or replace your item as indicated. A total farce. Save your money..Do not buy their insurance on *** it will not cover your phone as it claims.
Do not purchase a Squaretrade warranty with ***, its a farce.

I had purchased Square Trade on some purchases, but not on others, thinking I probably would never need it. Then when I DID need it with a large-format printer issue--thankfully--I had chosen their coverage. Their online claim-filing process was easy with every step explained and guided. I described in detail the apparent mechanical failure of an internal part (print head/ink cartridge carrier) and the process of first contacting the original seller, then the manufacturer. As with most printers, the original price paid is less than the cost of shipping and repair. Within a couple of days I received an email asking if I would agree to receiving payment-in-full for the original cost of the printer. I could not have been more pleased. Thanks to Square Trades' customer service I now have a new printer and my graphic design business is now functioning up-to-speed.
My *** inch flat screen developed a dark area across the screen. I contacted Square trade and an expert called me back very quickly. The lady that called me was indeed an expert on my model TV. I followed her instructions and it was clear the issue could not be corrected. I was informed that I would receive an email with instructions to take pictures of the problem, which I did the next day.
Pictures were taken and sent, very soon, I received an email saying that it was being replaced and the choice of three similar models. Also, advice on the disposal of the failed unit.
After choosing which Tv I wanted, it arrived just over a week later.
I would highly recommend SquareTrade for extended warranty but also as a company. Their staff is excellent and the service fast and efficient. This was my first warranty claim, that I can remember, but the process was easy and stress-free. Thank you.
