amazing! I *** it tuesday night and had my gift card in my email the very next day. prior experience w/ other stores, had me waiting a week or more until it was ups'd and received. I am buying a new phone AND buying the same protection plan again! thank you!
Square trade gave me the security that my purchase what we are worth having and the warrantees save me money on a replacement
My printer stopped printing and I contacted Square Trade. My claim was quickly accepted and reviewed. Not being able to repair or replace my printer, I was issued a refund in a very timely fashion. All the people I spoke to were extremely polite and knowledgeable. I would recommend Square Trade as a reliable company to provide warrantee service. Thank you again.
Very good customer service. Tv was not able to be fixed and a replacement was sent. Total time from initial call to arrival of TV was less than a week.
I’m highly dissatisfied with the SquareTrade organization. I sent in my beats over ear wireless headphones because the left earbud disconnected came off which caused the wires to disconnect after having the headphones for over a year. I ended up having to send the headphones in since my manufacture warranty was up. I received an email stating that their technicians “found water in the earbud” and the wires were “leaking” as well. Mind you, I’m very protective over my electronics and I’m definitely not going to put my headphones near water. As well as the fact that the headphones work perfectly fine. The right side works, and the left side obviously until it physically disconnected. At this point, I reached out to the company because they made a mistake. The man I spoke with told me that I caused damage to the headphones. I asked him how that was possible when it became loose first, then disconnected as I took the earbud out of my ear. He explained there is nothing that they can do, so I asked to speak with the manager who then informed me that she can’t do anything because the technicians make the final call regardless. I wanted to find out if there was any damage to the box when it arrived and she said no one would be able to tell me that. But they will send my broken headphones back and refund my $14 warranty. When I asked the female manager the number to file a claim, she asked me why and said there is no team that handles claims. So I came on this website while on the phone with her and saw the number. I said “Oh, so *** is not the number?”, and she got quiet. To sum everything up, this company has terrible customer service. I recommend getting a warranty through any EXCEPT SquareTrade.
I love Square Trade. The process for filing a claim was quick, easy and convenient. The recommended repair shot was great as well

Purchased a new 65 inch TV FROM TARGET which which I purchased the 3 year square trade warranty. TV malfunctioned with in the warranty period. Contacted SquareTrade to replace TV. They gave me a list of 3 TV’s to choose from to replace my TV. Made my choice, got a confirmation number, so far so good. Next day I get an E-mail from SquareTrade saying the TV that was on their replacement list was not suppose to actually be on the list!!!!!!! They TOLD me that they are sending a replacement TV and told me which brand and model. Once again that’s fine, not how I would do business but I’ve been without a TV NOW FOR 3 weeks!!!! E-mail also stated it would be delivered 7-10 business days. Next day I get another E-mail with delivery date of July 18th. Today I get a voicemail saying delivery will be July 25th!!!!!!!!!!! Very upset with this company!!!! I feel like I’m just getting whatever they want me to have!!!!!!!!!!!!
We apologize for any difficulty with your recent TV claim.When Squaretrade approves a replacement TV claim we forward an email to the consumer, of which will contain as many comparable offers we can provide. In this instance there was an initial delay due to a device incorrectly offered. This has since been resolved and a replacement ordered for the consumer. This replacement unit is comparable to the consumer's original product and is a brand new unit, we again apologize for any inconvenience and hope this is a satisfactory resolution.
I purchased an insurance plan for my phone to make life easier but so far it has been just the opposite,
more money and more time wasting when a phone is needed but not working.
I filed a claim on June 27 2019 regarding an issue with my broken phone, they gave me a few options where to fix it,
I paid $129.00 for a deductible and I was given a voucher to the store, once I called the store they had told me that its too late for today and come tomorrow, called the next day (Jun 28) and was told the technician is not in today. I then called the insurance company to transfer the voucher to another location- after being on hold for a long while, they provided me with information to contact a new store. When I contacted that store, the technician was also out and unable to assist with the phone issue. I called the insurance company again, cancelled the voucher and advised that I will handle this on my own at a local store. I was advised that cancelling the voucher will take 24-48 hours. once cancelled, and due to the time sensitivity of the matter, I walked into a local store and got it fixed and paid the guy out of pocket (in addition to the deductible I already paid). On July 4th, I called the insurance company again to request a confirmation of the cancelled voucher. they advised that it has been cancelled and a refund will be processed. On July 9th I haven't yet received my refund and called again. at this time they advised me that in-order to process the refund, I must submit a receipt of the paid deductible. all this back and forth and endless hold time with each rep each time I called. I purchased this insurance plan to help me cover the expenses of my phone, but instead it has been an unnecessary head ache.

In this case we understand we were not able to resolve these concerns to the consumer's satisfaction, of which we again apologize for. One of our specialists reached out to the consumer to discuss their concerns and see if we can turn the experience around. We are currently processing a full refund of the claim deductible and we have cancelled the policy, preventing any additional charges for this policy. Unfortunately we are unable to provide additional refunds for a monthly charge warranty.
I couldn't be more disappointed in any company that I am with square trade. They are a complete disappointment to me !!!
I purchased my lap top 2 1/2 years ago and started having trouble with it less than a year later! I called them a week ago and ended up in tears,
They told me even though it had only been 2 1/2 years on my warranty They could no longer help me. That my lap top had been seen "almost" 5 times already and that my warranty was only good for 3 years OR up to the cost of the price. Which was......$626.38 for the lap top AND $172.79 for the Square Trade Warranty (including the $12.80 tax). Total of $799.10. So they were saying that I had my lap top in to many times! I was disappointed every time I received it back and expressed so in December when I spoke to a representative. It seemed like the entire year of 2018 they had my lap top.
It all started in March 2018 (15 months old). I called to have it fixed because the cooling fan was over heating. I received back I and called immediately on April 5th because the corner was missing when I opened the box upon their return. The corner was completely gone when I opened the box and there was no damage to the box whatsoever ! So back it went again. A third time, in June, it had to go back because I spilled a drink on it. First time I had done the damage! Then when it was returned I called immediately because the keys were still sticking!! So back again it went for a fourth time in July!! Then in December every time I turned it on it had a god awful loud screech. It was the hdd board :( I called again and was really upset exclaiming that that they had my laptop most of 2018!!! The last time they supposedly fixed it, it came back with a restart of almost 2 minutes, started shutting itself down, still not able to use sound or video ( one of the reasons it went back last time) They never reinstalled windows so all of my problems were still there and worse than ever with others !! But I was absolutely needing my lap top at that point so I decided to wait and spend some time with it since square trade had it most of that year. So I called and they told me they could not honor the warranty because they had already had it "almost 5 times" and that I had 3 months to call them. Really? Why didn't they fix it it right the first time? I didn't want to give it up again! I needed it !! So sad :(
Great experience overall! I had initial frustration with the phone call because the operator sent me to an online form that didn't work for my product. The online text help actually changed the online form on the spot to make it work for me only to get to the end where the program assumed I had a 1 year manufacturer's warrenty and told me to call the manufacturer. Which I did and they told me it was only a 6 month warrenty which had expired and so I had to call Square Trade back. When I did they immediately tried to send me to the online form again. I explained the situation and they took care of me with professionalism, speed and gave me the assurance that they would make things right from the very beginning. And they did! There was some technical confusion and difficulty but in the end I was satisfied with the result.
Quick response. Received check within 3-5 days to replace broken apple watch.
Terrible *** product from *** that worked for 3 months, then Square Trade didn't return our money; they gave us a gift card to *** After *** failed us once, why should I be bound to spend the refunded money with them??
Ugh! Avoid *** and Square Trade!
41 emails & many unanswered phone calls trying to get help but can't get past the recordings.
Been trying to get help for months for a leather office chair that isn't old and has lost its cushioning very quickly. Nobody has responded to any of my attempts to get help so I tried again. All I asked for was a person's name & direct phone # so I can call them when I'm home & have time.
I finally got a response & they are wanting me to physically type a bunch of things in an email, which is unnecessary since its all on the receipt! They just kept emailing back, accusing me of "refusing to reply w/the info they asked for in an email". No accountability. Blame it on the customer.
I am medically ill. I waited a long time for this chair. I need it replaced now, not months from now.
Instead of giving me the contact info I repeatedly asked for, they started calling all of my phones & REPEATEDLY called, hung up, called, hung up, etc. About 5 or more in a row on each phone. It didn't stop. I can't return a call unless there's a message but they would never leave any message, they just continued to harass me via hangup calls until I blocked their calls due to their disruptive behavior.
Then they started adding a bunch of high level corporate people on their emails to me, at this point it's high-level bullying designed to control and oppress. And it just multiplied.
I tried several times to talk to their legal department. I was ignored & finally told by a "Customer Service Manager" (this is whom I'm trying to avoid because they can't get the job done ) -- but I was told nobody will talk to me, I will only be "allowed" to talk to this CS person.
It's medical related & this can no longer wait.
I emailed the head of Squaretrade legal department, a Customer relations VP and LEGAL -- and NOT ONE REPLY BY ANYONE AT ALL FROM SQUARETRADE.
NOT ONE. I AM BEING IGNORED BY EVERY SINGLE PERSON. WHO DOES THAT? This is unreasonable, unprofessional and just plain bad business.
I paid for this warranty thru the store and I expect fair, reasonable, equal treatment, which I am not receiving.
SQUARETRADE dereliction of duty, harassment, bullying & disrespect of me (then subsequently ignoring me), personally, & as a paying customer buying THEIR PRODUCT, is inexcusable.

In this case Squaretrade has not been provided sufficient documentation in order to register the policy and file the claim. We have directly reached out to the consumer to offer assistance, but as of yet we have not had a chance to speak. Nonetheless, we left a voicemail with our contact information and hope to hear back from Ms. shortly.

Customer service was great.
However, now my new phone 'flashes' when I flip it open.
After I filed a claim I quickly heard back from square trade with an approval and several options to repair my phone. I chose to repair locally and picked one of the approved places on their list. They sent me via email an authorization code and I printed it out. Took it to CPR Cell phone repair in *** and gave the certificate. Phone was repaired (glass was cracked and charging port wasn't working) in about 1 and 1/2 hours. Everything works fine now. Very easy process. I did have to pay a $99 deductible which I knew at the time which was according to my policy. Square Trade has always been quick and easy to deal with for all my repairs.
Initially everything was good. But when you had to contact them again the agent acted like they did not know anything about our account. Once that got straightened out it was fine. Remember it's about service, when an individual is paying for a service no matter what it is going to cost the company pit the customer first. All in all the experience was good.
The last person with whom we spoke understood the stress that my daughter goes through and handled our case professionally
