This company provided - damaged unit, - WRONG unit,, - Forced me make due, - EXTREME frustration,, - Very LAME customer service by 20 somethings no care,, Has left me fighting EVERY communication & Consumer Cellular to attempt to correct this TOTAL pile crap,, "ALLL over really LAME customer services",
This complaint just cant carry enough disgust & Rage,, Company PAID do service, That simple, Especially a div. of Allstate,
This company is contracted by my cell phone service ( Consumer Cellular ), as insurance to replace my unit in event of damages, , , my unit became damaged, , " By their OWN guidelines" I am to have a unit replaced by a an equal or upgraded better unit if available,,
My previous unit was a ***, $299.00 ,
- They sent me piece crap *** which only $199.00 & TOTAL crap,, WRONG unit,,
_ Next - the cussed thing WAS NOT even new/ Factory fresh, was not packed, was loose thrown in box, no paperwork as well,
"obviously" some IS idea of funny, , My Aneurysm over crap phone real funny too,
I'm Totally disabled , I cant be stuck without phone service if something happened away from home, this junk unit has caused me SO many problems, missed Dr. appointments & Hassles galore.FRUSTRATION unknown, for a MONTH,
Multiple complaints & calls to Square & Consumer cellular both, & Consumer Cellular has been resetting piece crap trying make due, IT's Obviously DAMAGED unit, WHY must customer have brain stroke due to frustration over Crap customer service or product, when a customer says item is crap, its CRAP,, " just do the job ".

We apologize for any difficulty experienced with this replacement claim. Squaretrade typically utilizes our own service center for replacement devices, as well as often utilizing new devices. In this case this consumer's warranty works in partnership with their wireless carrier and they are the provider who delivers replacement devices. Due to this we are limited to assist the consumer and we would refer the consumer to their wireless carrier to have the correct replacement issued.

I have been paying for a warranty plan with square trade for two years. My daughters phone screen broke today so I went online to file a claim. It required a copy of the receipt. I called the phone number and nobody ever answered. On chat, the lady told me to call *** and get a copy. I called ***. They do not have records that go back more than 5 months. I was never told that I needed to have a copy of my receipt to file a claim. Like I said, square trade has been collecting my money each month and now when I need to file a claim, they refuse to help because I don’t have a receipt from two year ago. This is bad business practice and I want either 1. My money back for the two years I’ve been paying or 2. To be able to file a claim for warranty services I have paid for.

We apologize for any difficulty experienced with this claim.Squaretrade requires the purchasing information for almost all warranties in our system, whether provided by the customer or warranty seller. In this case there was an initial discrepancy with the item receipt which has since been resolved and the claim approved.One of our specialists has reached out to the consumer to verify their concerns. Though we've yet to speak we're eager to do so and improve the consumer's experience.

I purchased a 2 year warranty plan for my *** Recently, the wristband became loose so I thought I would utilize the protection plan. I immediately got charged a $25 deductible...only to find out AFTER that the resolution was them sending me a new wristband. THAT was ALL they did to resolve it. If they had conveyed to me BEFORE I GOT CHARGEd that THIS was the resolution, then I would have gone ahead and purchased a new wristband myself for MUCH LESS THE COST. Spent an HOUR on the phone with them and they refused to do anything about it. They admitted that I should have received what the resolution was before it was automatically processed AFTER me being charged for it. They're not refunding me, not even the difference of what I could have paid if I had gone and resolve this MYSELF.

We do our best to ensure consumers are aware of their policy details, providing warranty contracts upon request which detail policy specifics. The deductible is charged for every claim utilized, regardless of how extensive your repair or replacement may be.We understand you felt this was not the desired resolution, due to this we have made a one-time exception to refund the deductible in full. We hope this is a satisfactory result and we appreciate the consumer bringing this to our attention.

I've never known a better costumer service, although my most recent experience, they sent a box that was just a little too small for my laptop. I am, however, very happy with how fast their repairs/replacements are. Over all, it was a very pleasurable experience.

Don't waste your money on this rip off. They actually deserve no stars.
Purchased *** 2 along with a square trade warrantee at *** Product cracked and Square trade was notified and agreed to replace product within 5 days of claim. That was in April of 2019.
In May I contacted them and asked what was the problem. I was told that there was a problem at the warehouse and that it was resolved and I would be receiving my replacement in the next five days.
Today, June 9, I called and the previoust people had lied to me and now said that they had discontinued the *** and would not replace the item. They were willing to refund me the money spent on the *** or the price of the warantee ($20). Not both.

One star is too many. Worst experience ever. They tried to deny my warranty had even started!!! I had to get *** involved, Then they would not fix a common problem found with the product. *** should not be working with them.

Awful. I called told you exactly what happened. You wasted my time. Had me ship the item to you and THEN said it wasn’t covered.

I thought it a completely easy process with simple instructions that even I could follow. Sending back the old phone was easy too, but the threat of the $750.00 charge if I screwed up was disconcerting to say the least. The one thing that caused me to go down from 5 to 4 stars was the expense of $139.00 for the new phone. When I bought the insurance, I didn't realize the expense of the new phone would be such, especially when I didn't have it but a few months. Was that the deductible?

Had a claim for an unrepairable dehumidifier. The claim process was frustrating until I spoke directly with a SquareTrade representative. Once this direct contact was made, the claim was finalized quickly. I would purchase another SquareTrade warranty in the future now that I know how to navigate the claim process.

They are friendly, plus they do what they say. My phone fell in a toilet, so they gave me a whole different phone. Like it much better. Good company. I got my replacement within 4 days. Great

They paid my claim when the manufacturer refused to honor their 1 year warranty, six months after purchase. Very easy to do business with. This was my 3rd claim with them in the last 10 years. They seem to get better every time I have to use them. I wouldn't buy anything online without their protection.

BEWARE! [UPDATED]
I used to have a great image of this company! and bought it whenever I bought expensive consumer electronics, but recently I had an issue with a camera that it took very long to get in focus and it made some odd noises and when I called up SquareTrade I was told to send it in to a repair center but it came back without being repaired so I called up again and said that it didn't help and was told to send it in again, so I asked the rep if I am going to lose coverage because of this and they told me I shouldn't worry but after I got back my item in the same bad shape I decided to wait until it gets worse and then try again, but now when I check online it says no coverage is over and when I call up the company they say that they spent too much already on fixing the item!!! (Which was never fixed and I was told that this won't happen)

Horrible!! Sent in my wireless headphones, as they have been giving me lots of problems for the last 4 to 6 months. Received an email that they said they were fine and were sending them back. They absolutely are NOT fine. I wouldn’t have taken the time to send them back if they were. Someone obviously did not do their job. I explained, in detail, what is happening with them as well. Very disappointed with this service!! I use these all the time and paid extra for a better quality pair, as well as, the insurance. Please beware before paying for their service!

SquareTrade recently replaced my computer hard drive which was covered under our insurance agreement. They worked with our computer provider to assure delivery to their facility and promptly returned the computer in renewed condition. The turn-around in their facility was less than 48 hours. I have no complaints.

Bought the protection at *** for iWatch Series 3. An employee from *** told me what it covered I bought the coverage showed me on the website the section is says it was covered only to find out a year later I wasn't covered and the terms and conditions I was shown is only for general purposes only instead of solving my problem. SquareTrade rather refund all my money in full because it's cheaper then the repair they are ripping off the consumer because they don't care how their retailer sell their plans. I was told this plan covered just like AppleCare. So I bought it instead of walking across the street at Best Buy and buying it with AppleCare

This contract contains the coverage details and can also be provided at anytime upon request. I filed a claim for a phone, you get two a year, and they said thier computer said I already got two. I didn't, only one, but they won't do anything about it. I told them thier computer is wrong, and they won't let me speak to a supervisor or resolve it in any mannor, just the computer has spoken so goodby, not going to honor the warranty. Very frustrating. What do you do when they just say, so sorry, computer has spoken so that's the end.

We apologize we were unable to approve this claim.Squaretrade warranties typically include a claim limit or a limit of liability for each warranty, as we can only provide a finite amount in resolutions before a warranty is completed. In this case the consumer's warranty includes a two claim per year limit, of which was exceeded in October of 2018. Since then the consumer has not been charged for this warranty and we would be unable to file additional claims on this policy.

I bought a *** laser printer, and a 4-year warranty from SquareTrade.
Two years and 4 months later, the automatic paper feeder was not working.
I filed a claim. SquareTrade's claim process is among the most efficient. It's completely web based, no paper, no postal mail, just answering a small handful of questions, and uploading the receipt. The speed of its approval, and refund, is second to none. I strongly recommend SquareTrade's extended warranty.
