I've never had a bad transaction with Square Trade. My watch recently broke and the sent me a check for what I paid for it. I was quite pleased with the timely (no pun intended) response. I will always use them over their competitors.

The service was excellent. The agent that handles our call was real courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable. Too bad starting April this year *** would not be using them.

if I could leave sero stars I would. They don't honor their service plans. I can't get anyone on the phone. All automated system that tries to accost me with marketing nonsense and then I am repeatedly hung up on instead of being connected to a representative. Unbeleiveable.

We were very pleased with the service received. They were very accommodating to our needs. Problem solved and a new product was received within days (less than a week). I highly recommend this company.

I had two different devices that needed to be fixed. Very quick turnaround and very easy to process!

I purchased an extended warranty contract. Standard agreement states that it covers workmanship. The watch that I purchased leaked due to faulty workmanship, which led to liquid damage that was not covered. There was no single incident or accident that led to the malfunction. I feel that they misrepresent their product and dupe people into buying services that are not useful. They did not examine the watch, only asked a few questions and made their decision based on those answers.

We apologize we were unable to approve this claim.Squaretrade sells both Standard and Accidental Protection plans, each of which includes differences in coverage. This product's warranty is a Standard plan and does not cover this type of damage, due to this we are unable to approve this claim.

We apologize for any dissatisfaction regarding this claim.Squaretrade extensively trains our specialists to make determinations regarding the approval or denial of relevant claims. This process is done via basic troubleshooting and requesting information from the consumer over the course of the claim. Beyond helping us determine if an issue is covered, this also helps to determine the most appropriate resolution. When this claim was filed the consumer provided information indicating this item had experienced liquid damage. Though Squaretrade does offer warranties which covers these types of failures this would require an Accidental Protection plan, not the Standard coverage plan purchased for this product.

I am rejecting this response because:the item was supposed to be waterproof. The outside of the watch had to fail to allow liquid inside. There is no other way to introduce liquid to the device. Your insurance is a RIP off of people's money.

I contacted Square Trade on 5/23/19 about needing a replacement part for my Airistech Airis MW vaporizer that wore out on its own. I stated to them that I contacted the seller about replacing parts for my vaporizer, and the seller told me that because I have a warranty, I needed to contact Square Trade. Square Trade told me that I would need to contact the seller of the item for replacement parts. They said that they do not handle replacement parts.

We apologize for any misunderstanding regarding our warranties. Squaretrade utilizes the manufacturer warranty for all products we cover, as this allows multiple benefits for our consumers. Primarily repairs completed by the item manufacturer leave the warranty in place without negating from the consumer's warranty limit.If the manufacturer denies servicing the product we request we are contacted with the reference number verifying their denial. In this case we have made an exception and forwarded details of the consumer's claim resolution to the email on file.

I contacted Square Trade because I purchased some Tzumi Wireless Earbuds from *** about 3 months ago. I couldn't find any warranty info on the packaging so put in my claim with Square Trade when one stopped working. Square Trade informed me that they were still under manufacturer's warranty (YES!) and should be covered by ***. *** refunded my money and my Square Trade warranty purchase and I have since purchased a different product.

Re: Claim #***
1. I was promised a reduced deductible from $99.00 to $75.00 by representative *** who originated my iPhone repair. That promise was not honored.
2. The promise of the reduced claim was documented. Per information from Representative *** on Thursday May 23rd, she states that representative *** documented that my deductible would be reduced to $74.25.
3. The invoice of my submitted claim was $377.79. Thus, I was expecting reimbursement in the amount of $303.54.
4. In an email: Claim: Status Update # ***. Unfortunately, the promise of a $75.00 deductible was not upheld. It stated, “We've received your repair invoice and will be reimbursing you $278.79. This reimbursement represents the amount of your repair invoice of $377.79 minus your deductible of $99”.
5. Square trade should honor their promise.
(A) The promised $74.25 deductible was documented.
(B) The fact that "Reimbursement represents the amount of your repair invoice of $377.79 minus your deductible,” is documented in in email as the reimbursement formula.
(C). Square trade should refund the $25.00

In this case we understand the consumer was not properly informed of the qualifying conditions for these savings and we have forwarded additional information to the email address on file.We hope this is a satisfactory resolution and appreciate the consumer bringing us this concern.

I purchased a repair warranty with Squaretrade for a new MSI laptop I purchased in 2017. I sent the laptop in for repairs and it came back unrepaired. I called back, sent the laptop in again with a video of the issue. I received notice that my repair was completed and the device was coming back to me.When I opened the box I received, the laptop inside was not mine (It was a cheap dell) and had someone elses claim number. I called in and the claims representative was unable to handle the issue.

This is HORRIBLE PROTECTION. There were a charged $75 for the deductible due to drone got accident damage. Next couple months, drone stopped working, and there will be another $75 deductible for repair. SO there will be always $75 deductible for the repair, even they didn't complete fixed the issue at the first attempted. Waste of money on this protection and didn't expect $75 deductible every time service needed.

Best warranty in the market! Our tv when out, call them up and within 1 week we had our new tv!

My experience was unbelievable. Such great quick service to handle my problem. You can't find that anywhere else. Thank you again for helping me out.

SquareTrade has excellent service and always delivers what they tell you. I’ll always purchase this.

Simply fantastic to say the least. I purchased another product and also brought the Square Trade that was offered. One can't beat the price for the product purchased.
Also, to file a claim is very easy and personnel are extremely courteous and professional. I can't say enough and they are definitely Five Star.

Time and follow up was the only issue. Once that was done the rest went well.

They have been making process difficult with purchase of Warranty on Nintendo Switch. Target Specialists have even contacted them to confirm I purchased the product and square trade warranty covering it withing designated time. They are continuing to reject receipt despite it meeting guidelines. Target has even contacted them to ensure Square Trade knows that it was a valid purchase.

Terrible customer service. I pay for coverage for a subwoofer. Have it hooked up for over a year and something happens to it and they refuse to cover it. Then I get an email stated they will reimburse me for what I paud for item. Then 2 days later I get another email stated they refuse to.
