SquareTrade was quick to resolve the issue with my warrantied item, no questions asked.
The customer service is good. They were prompt in handling my claim, and the claim process was very easy. The problem I have is that I bought a 55 dollar product that was on sale. That product is now 80 dollars. I didn't not receive a full refund for my product. I was told the value of that product depreciated by more than 10 percent during the month that I had it. That is not okay. I should have been at least refunded the entire value of my product at the time I bought it. Even if it was still on sale, I would not have been able to repurchase my product.
Paid for the insurance but then was told its a manufacturing issue. That's a bummer. It's just a $20 water heating pot. Thought the insurance would replace it should anything happen (like the base getting too hot and melting) but guess they were both a waste of money
I had sent in my equipment for repair in early January 2019. I was advised that I would have my equipment, which is used for my work, within 2 weeks. A little over a month had passed and had not even got an update. When calling back, I expressed my displeasure with the service I received, and was advised that I would receive a full refund from the company within 7-10 business days. After 2 weeks passed I received another email stating that I would receive a check within 7-10 days, confused as to why more time was needed I made another call back for explanation and was told that the rep did not file refund with accounting department. Rightfully upset I asked for a refund on ALL policies purchased with them from B&H and Amazon for a total of 4. Received confirmation emails of cancelled policies while on the phone with rep. I noticed each stating that I will receive a refund in 3-5 business days via credit card refund. I advised the rep that I no longer have the card used to purchase policies, and was advised by then rep that it would be treated like a standard check refund, taking another 7-10 days to receive. This was April 15. We are now in the month of MAY and I have only received a refund from Amazon as a credit from one of the policies I've purchased. This company is beyond unprofessional, speaking from my personal experience as well as the +1,000 complaints it has received. I've kept calm when speaking to customer service reps, from the rude ones to the nice ones, spoke to countless "supervisors" and as a final result, I am here on a Monday in between working, writing a complaint on Revdex.com. Wow.

In certain instances consumers may experience a delay because our technicians need to order the parts necessary to complete service and these components may be on back order.If we exceed our repair service guarantee we can provide a full refund for the warranty purchasing price, as was provided in this instance. We understand the consumer has yet to receive all policy refunds but our specialists worked to address these concerns on 5/7/19. Accounting is currently working to have these payments resent to the recently confirmed address and we again apologize for any inconvenience.
They handled the cliam in just a few hours, Wish all companies would do business like they do
Other times I've had serious problems and difficulties with my address being being the fact that I have a PO box but now that I straighten this matter out on the address part I was able to receive send off and receive everything needed to be effective and fundamentally professional and supportive equally as a customer and the provider supporting very very exceptionally well mannered and execution good job????????

I am so impressed with Square Trade. I sent a pair of Beats earphones that I would not have thought was repairable and about a week later I received the earphones back all repaired, looked brand new.
I purchased an XBox 1 console for my son for his birthday. I purchased an extended 3 year warranty because the item was expensive for me. Over the last two weeks, the item would stop working whenever it felt like it and while he was in the middle of a game. I called the company to use my warranty. I purchased the item on 8/6/2018. After I sat on hold for 31 minutes, they informed me because I had a friend download a game that I purchased from WalMart, using his WiFi, that the warranty was voided. They are just trying to get away with not allowing me to use my warranty. That is ridiculous that because I had a friend, download a game (which is the only way you can play games on the XBox, by the way) that I can't use my warranty that I purchased!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My internet was not fast enough to download this game, so a friend simply connected to his internet and downloaded it for me. The company is trying to get out of paying for a service that I bough and they advertise to the consumers. I informed them that I would be contacting the Revdex.com and they informed me verbatim "Go right ahead because we have a legal team". This company should not even be in operation if they are going to try to scam consumers out of their hard earned money!! I am not rich by any means and this console took me a long time to save up and by for my son and I am very, very angry and disappointed in how consumers get treated by Square Trade!!!!
We apologize for any miscommunication regarding the status of this warranty.When this claim was initially filed there was a misunderstanding regarding recent services rendered for this product, of which led Squaretrade representatives to inform the consumer their warranty is voided. Unauthorized repairs to products are not covered beneath our warranties and this was where the initial misunderstanding occurred.This has since been resolved and a Squaretrade specialist has discussed the situation with the consumer, as well as a resolution to their item's failure. We also understand the consumer experienced difficulty with their support experience and this will be extensively reviewed, as Squaretrade provides ourselves on delivering professional and courteous service.
SquareTrade had excellent service all my needs were met and questions were answers. just went online everything went smoothly and I recommend making sure you get that extra warranty from SquareTrade it's worth it

I bought a Refurbished *** Laptop through Egg Head and got the 1 Year Recertified Laptop Protection Plan through Square Trade Warranty Services.
Sent them my laptop for a hard drive replacement which was covered under my warranty. It only took 2 days to get my laptop repaired and returned to me (47 hours actually). Hassle free warranty service. Extremely happy with my repair and warranty coverage.
Great customer service and fast shipment of payment.
This was such an easy process. I had a 70 inch tv that was starting to get dark spots. They were able to diagnose over the phone and with emailed pictures. They quickly determined that my TV would not be repaired. The next day I got an email asking me to select the TV I wanted as a replacement since the exact model wasn't available. Basically....I got an upgraded and newer one. Two days after that, *** delivered my replacement TV. This was such a great and easy process. Well done!!!!
We were being charged each month by SquareTrade. Turns out it was a warranty that my daughter purchased when she bought her phone at ***.
Here is the problem. When we wanted to cancel the plan I went to their website and there was no way to contact them by phone or chat. The chat link simply took you back to the same page.
I believe that they were purposely making it impossible for someone to cancel this service. A bit of a scam if you ask me.
I purchased headphones and also the Squaretrade extended warranty. I experienced an issue with the headphones and filed a claim against the warranty. Squaretrade claimed my warranty didnt cover the damage yet when purchasing the warranty is was for full coverage. After 10 days of back and forth with no resolve (a process they said normally takes no more than 24 hours) I received a label to ship to have replaced. Three days later I received an email saying we cant fix the headphones. which broken and sound stopped playing with no further follow up.
Square Trade was thorough with their process to validate and honor the claim for an Iphone damage. The process steps were clear and once verified, it was handled expeditiously and satisfactory to my expectation.
Outstanding customer support. The agent sent me an email and anytime I had a question, I would just respond to the email and he would call me to answer my question and to help me to resolve my computer issues. And he followed up later to see if the issue was taken care of.
They have treated us good

Warranties are only alleged.
If you can stomach non-native English speaking agents and their lack of understanding their own process, then after 5-6 phone calls and as many emails they will offer to send a check. but first, you will send your item to them and then after they approve it 10 days later the check may be sent.
Shop elsewhere, anywhere.
