I have contacted multiple representatives at SquareTrade on their call center. I was told a couple weeks back that I had an exception made by a manager to send my Skullcandy Headphones out to the depot for repairs. I have talked to many representatives since, and I have been fairly mistreated during calls. For example, on the phone, 4/29/19, I was told I would be contacted by a manager during two different calls, because I called one time after school at about 4 pm, and I was told I would be called back in 45 minutes to 1 hour, and that never happened. I called back in 2 hours, asking why I was never called back and the representative I talked to that time kept talking in circles until I was put on hold and the call dropped. I called today, on 5/1/19 hoping to get in contact with a manager, which I finally did. I was told that an audit was performed on the headphones because of liquid damage. However, the headphones have never been exposed to water, juice, soda, rain, or any other liquid. I believe the depot had made an excuse not to repair my headphones. I talked to the manager, ***, who essentially talked in circles, and repeated herself saying they couldn't do anything about my headphones after they were audited for liquid damage. I asked multiple questions regarding that, and she pretty much repeated they couldn't do anything about it.

We apologize for any miscommunication regarding the repair of this product.Squaretrade does our best to assist all consumers, though we are not able to approve every claim. In this case our specialists initially hesitated to approve the consumer's claim, as the description of the issue indicated there could be physical or accidental damage to the product. This consumer's warranty includes Standard Protection and covers hardware and electrical failures only due to normal usage.As an exception Squaretrade's specialist offered to have the item sent in so our technicians could determine whether or not the issue qualified for service. If it was determined that the item's failure were due to normal usage the product would be repaired or replaced. Unfortunately, upon receipt of the product it was determined this issue was not covered, therefore the product was returned unrepaired. Due to this we have cancelled and refunded the full purchasing price of the warranty as per the consumer's request. We would be unable to provide any alternatives and we apologize for any inconvenience. We understand the consumer experienced difficulty communicating with our claims support center and we will reviewing their claims history to see where we can improve.

We apologize we are unable to approve this claim.Squaretrade utilizes certified technicians to complete item repairs, of whom are extensively trained to recognize item failures and determine the best method of resolution. Though we understand the consumer disagrees with our diagnostic Squaretrade must audit items based on the condition they arrived to us. Being that our technicians have already diagnosed damage to this product which exceeds the coverage we would not be able to provide additional assistance. We again apologize for any inconvenience. I am rejecting this response because:
I am still going to reject any apologies until the issue is resolved. The email was not sincere, as one should be from a company to a consumer. The email was copied and pasted, or reused. It is not appreciated. In the response, it was mentioned that the headphones were not going to be repaired due to the condition they arrived in. What does that even mean? There was the original wear and tear, and nothing else. I received my headphones back from the warehouse in bad condition. I sent them in clean, and how they came when I bought them. I got them back dirty, and in poorer condition than how I sent them. I posted on Facebook, tagging SquareTrade. If you would like to see the post, my name is *** on Facebook, and I have the post with pictures of how I got back my headphones. On top of them coming back dirty and scratched a little, the accessory and quick start up boxes that were in the original headphone box were beaten and ripped. What was the purpose of your "certified" technicians ripping and ruining those boxes? To top all of this off, I was told I would receive my $16.00 US in the mail for the refund on my plan. That was supposed to arrive 7 days ago. Never got my check in the mail. Never got a direct deposit. Why was my plan cancelled if you weren't going to refund it? I never wanted to cancel this plan in case it affects how the rest of this ordeal plays out. Now, with all this said, I am still unhappy with the response I was given. I would appreciate it if my headphones were reimbursed. I don't even want them repaired by your technicians anymore, because of the poor condition they came back in. It is unprofessional how your technicians treated my property.

I purchased a. Square trade plan and I am attempting to file a claim I have been hung up on my plan is active I have been told they will not file a claim that I have to contact Xbox even though my plan is active and they will not do anything for me

We apologize for any misunderstanding regarding our warranty.Squaretrade utilizes the manufacturer's warranty for all new products we cover, as this provides multiple benefits for our consumers. If the manufacturer denies servicing the item or is unreachable Squaretrade can step in early to provide service, though we may request a reference number dependent on the situation.In this case the consumer was referred to the item manufacturer for service as their warranty is still active. We understand the consumer was not aware of this policy and one of our specialists have reached out to offer a cancellation and full refund of the warranty.

I filed a claim for coverage on a Breville convection oven. Rec'd notice claim was reviewed and approved and replacement would be forthcoming. I was told I would be sent tracking info within five days of April 24,2019. To date I have rec'd no tracking info and no replacement oven.

This consumer was approved for a reimbursement claim on 5/3/19, dependent on the electronic signature of an affidavit verifying the item's failure. This affidavit has since been signed and the payment processed.Being that we have provided a reimbursement resolution we would not be able to provide any alternative resolution. Payments take up to 5 business days to arrive via mail and if this payment does not arrive we would request we are notified so the payment can be resent. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Square trade did a great job with repairing my iPad and returned it back quickly I would definitely recommend them and use their services again

I was leery about extended warranties I have heard from the past but I decided to purchase the protection. BEST DECISION EVER!!!
The entire process was handled with professional emails and quick responses. I submitted the claim and was contacted within 24 hours. Explained the issue and was presented with options to think about. After making my decision everything was completed in less than a week.
Do I recommend them, of course, and you would be either a fool with money to waste or just a fool if you decided to go uncovered.

I called on Sunday, April 28, 2019 to submit a claim on my LG TV that I purchased January of 2018. The warranty that I purchased is for 4 years. When I called they could not locate my claim. They emailed me a link to submit my receipt to which I did. I was told within 2 days I would have someone contact my about the warranty to proceed with the process to have my TV fixed. On Tuesday I still had no heard from them so I called again only to be told that they need a couple of more days to locate my receipt. In the mean time I am still with a broken TV. I would like them to contact me and have someone come fix my TV which is the reason I purchased the extended warranty in the first place.

We apologize for any delay with the processing of this claim.Most Squaretrade warranties arrive to our system automatically but for a small percentage of policies additional documentation is necessary to complete the warranty registration. In this case there was an initial delay with the registration of this warranty which has since been resolved.We have forwarded the information for this warranty to the consumer's email address and one of our specialists will shortly reach out to file a claim. If we are unable to gain contact we would request the consumer to contact us or proceed to our website to process their claim.

While fixing the original problem, the back part of the phone got broken. After a series of missteps I received the phone three weeks later.

My product was no longer available but customer service was great.

Technical Support was outstanding

I was very impressed they were more helpful than I expected. My claim was evaluated and I was told that the manufacturer was responsible and that I could get help from Square Trade if need be.
it made me feel as though I wasn't alone in dealing with the manufacturer and can rely on SquareTrade to help me decide on what I should do.

I sent in an Email, was told to call. I called and was told to send in another Email and my claim would be settled in 2 hours. I received a reply that said my 2nd Email was received and have heard nothing since. That is approximately 12 hours ago.

I was very disappointed. They sent me a faulty replacement phone. It showed that it had been verified to work but the previous owner still owed money on it and it would not be able to be unlocked. I had to do a lot of running around to discover this. I've wasted a lot of time and now have to get another phone myself causing a lot of run around time I do not have. No apology or any kind of incentive. Really disappointed.
