I bought coverage from this company for one of my appliances which broke down on 4/10/19. I contacted SquareTrade because they sold me an extended warranty for after the manufacturer's warranty expired. I contacted SquareTrade today and they denied coverage saying that my appliance was still under manufacturer's warranty. I contacted the manufacturer to make sure about the warranty and they told me that it had expired on February, 4, 2019. SquareTrade knew this and didn't want to pay for my broken item even if I have bought an extended warranty from the.

We apologize for any misunderstanding regarding our manufacturer referral process.Squaretrade utilizes the manufacturer warranty for almost every item we cover, so long as the item and the issue it is experiencing qualify for their coverage. If the manufacturer denies servicing the item or is unreachable Squaretrade can step in to provide service at that time, though we may request a reference number to verify this denial. Since the manufacturer warranty for this product has expired Squaretrade has approved the consumer's claim and forwarded the details of their resolution to the email alias on file.

great protection program. We have never had issues when we have had to file a claim. Inexpensive and worth the purchase.

We are pleased with service we got from SquareTrade. They answered messages quickly and handled our claim quickly once I got all the proper info to them.

I picked a warranty that was offered with my laptop from ***. When it was offered it only told me the number of years it covered me but it seems that it was only covering a fraction of what was paid for my laptop. Now because 9d the way *** works even though everything is purchased at once all of the proof is sent at different times through the vendors so that makes it extremely difficult when trying to file a claim. Knowing the vendors that they do business with I think they would more knowledgeable in that. Now they're trying to say I went back to *** and purchased it separately even though I only chose the option given to me under the laptop and this whole situation has been so fraudulent. I have never had such an awful and cheated experience that I felt the need to file a complaint with the Revdex.com. I will never choose another product that offers this as a warranty but I think it's fraudulent to behave this way. Not to mention the horrible manager who just called me back to argue with me and tell me over and over I picked the warranty not trying to even listen to me telling him how I picked what was given to me

We apologize for any inconvenience experienced with this claim. Squaretrade requires proof of purchase documentation for almost all warranties in our system, whether it is provided by the customer or the item/warranty seller. When this consumer initiated their claim we requested a copy of the item receipt as it is necessary for us to verify the warranty is valid.In this case the consumer paid $649.99 for the item while their warranty only included $249.99 worth of coverage. This typically voids the warranty as the discrepancy between the item price and coverage amount is considered to be too great to honor the plan. Per the terms and conditions of the consumer's warranty Squaretrade will either cover the item up to the item purchasing price of the item or the maximum coverage amount of the warranty.A Squaretrade supervisor explained this to the consumer and offered to honor the warranty up the maximum coverage amount as an exception. The consumer accepted this and we have approved a mail in repair to service the product.

SquareTrade tries at every turn to keep you from getting your money from your device replacement. They make it so incredibly hard to get a broken device replaced, you almost want to just pay the money yourself to get the device faster. This was nothing but a hassle and I will never go with SquareTrade again for device insurance.

Love how I spent my hard earned money on a warranty then can never get anyone on the phone to help me. The wait times to speak with someone are ridiculous, and the online help is a joke. Wish I could get the money back I spent with this company. unfortunately I'll never get the time spent back. What a waste!

Representatives helped me resolve my issue with damage to a desk after confirming that repair was not covered by the manufacturer's warranty. It took a couple of emails and a long call to arrange for compensation instead of repair. I received a check quickly and am satisfied with the way things worked out.

Fast service, efficient, clear communications. Bought 2 yr camera accidental protection plan, broke camera 14 months later. Sent camera in, couldn't be fixed, got full purchase price back. Whole transaction from first contact to check in hand was less than two weeks. Very satisfied.

They make it difficult to file a claim, then dont pay. Hard to believe they are A+ rated...

we been lied to several times about different things with this company about warrentys. told by square trade full refund would be sent . shorted $21 dollars and change when asked about this I was told I chose something called fast cash when I contacted them and questioned them on that and said I never agreed to that they said 80 percent of people choose that option to get cash fast and they steal 21 dollars from customer when asked for the recorded call where we agreed to the fast cash they said they couldn't pull it up I told them you cant pull it up cause you are a lie contacted them several more times they said they would send my 21 dollars but nothing as of yet. the people you talk to is in pakaistan I don't understand this .please help me with this company I see they have over 1000 complaints against them .

We apologize for any issues the consumer experienced during the claims process.When a claim is filed SquareTrade attempts to repair a device before moving to an alternate resolution such as replacement or reimbursement. The FastCash resolution options allow the consumer to get a reduced reimbursement immediately without having to send in their device.At this time an additional reimbursement check has been processed and mailed to the consumer.

Many of my Electronics are protected by SquareTrade. The claims process is quick and effortless. I submitted the claim online and a SquareTrade representative responded via e-mail the same day and informed me of the next steps. In order to get my device fixed SquareTrade recommended that I ship my device to a third party. Overall, the turn around time from when my device was shipped out, to getting fixed, and then receiving my fixed device was a total of 8 days. I will continue to protect my electronic devices and appliances with SquareTrade.

We purchased a *** Wi-Fi devise in November 2018 along with the Square Trade extended warranty (for a very minimal amount) for very limited use at my work place, When the *** devise failed I contacted this firm and was told that it was probably still under warranty and directed us to ***. *** stated that they could run tests a if we purchased a further service contract.
Square Deal asked that any response from *** be forwarded. If was, with no response.

I purchased the square trade warranty when I bought my laptop. My laptop had some hardware issue over time and I sent it to square trade for repair. They never repaired the laptop correctly. I had to send the laptop 4 times and the laptop spent close to 2 months in transit in total. The laptop still have hardware issue and will not charge anymore.

We apologize for any difficulty experienced with this item.Squaretrade has policies in place to address consumer concerns with a failed repair, as we take these matters very seriously. Squaretrade can have the consumer's item addressed via another repair or troubleshooting with our computer support team, of which has been offered in this instance. Though Squaretrade has serviced this device multiple times some of these repairs were due to physical damage to the product, as well as a variety of other issues.If the consumer would like us to service the item we would request they contact our support center and speak to our computer troubleshooting team. If we are unable to remotely resolve the issue we can arrange for another repair, if our technicians are unable to repair the product we will salvage the unit and provide an alternative solution.

We apologize if our offered resolution is not satisfactory Squaretrade provides repair, replacement and reimbursement resolutions per our discretion dependent on the item category and the type of failure it is experiencing. Squaretrade's primary intention with every claim is to offer repair when available, otherwise replacement or reimbursement is provided dependent on what is in stock. If our technicians receive this item and are unable to resolve the device issues this claim resolution would be migrated to replacement or reimbursement. Being that we have offered a resolution which meets our warranty contract we are unable to provide any alternatives at this time. If the consumer determines to proceed with our resolution we would recommend contacting our support center so we can proceed to the next step in the claims process.

I am rejecting this response because: the business is failed 4 times and not providing any meaningful resolution. I am not going to try the same process 5th time. Square trade warranty should be held liable for such practice (small claim court or regulatory fines).

Excellent service, professional help, quick repair time. I bought 3 chrome books at *** for three elementary school grand kids. Bought the Square Trade protection plans. Now have had four repairs on the three chrome books and could not be happier with Square Trade. One of the best protection plans/service providers I have experienced. No hassle, no extra costs. Strongly recommend using SquareTrade, Inc. to protect your investment. Should you need to file a claim, it is settled in a very timely manner.

Paid me my rebate as expected but would not return the watch charger. Very upset as the charger was for my other watch and now I have to buy a new charger.
