Square Trade was very helpful even when they did not have to. I purchased a computer that was supposed to have a year contract on it and only ended up having 3 months. Square trade was supposed to kick in after the first year for the second year. I was between a rock and a hard place. All I had to do was prove that the warranty had run out and they kicked our warranty into hear 9 months early. For that I was extremely grateful. They helped me solve my problem and off we went. Thanks so much Square Trade.

No trouble at all-- filed a claim for my device that included coverage for accidental damage. I had a new device in no time, no struggle or fuss about it either. I'll consider SquareTrade for all of my electronic purchases going forward, considering how prone I am to breaking electronic devices by accident and the piece of mind I'd get with it.

When our TV died at the young age of three years, only our SquareTrade warranty for $29 remained in effect...for about three more weeks. The rep made sure the TV was indeed dead by having us run tests, then said it would be replaced. Our "warranty" mentioned a refurbished replacement but the confirming email said it would be a brand new TV, not refurbished. We were asked to choose from a selection offered via email but the link didn't work so another rep said they would send an email offering the best selection for our approval. We could not be happier with the results of this warranty. The TV is larger than the one that died, nearly four years newer, same brand we had (***), we had tracking info all the way, I am usually disappointed with warranty transactions but this one was A+ all the way down the line.

I currently have ten warranties from Square Trade and it was not until last week that I actually had to file a claim. The filing process took a bit longer than it should have, but within an hour, it seemed like things were on track. I received an e-mail to set up an appointment with a technician, as the TV is large enough to warrant an in-home repair. I set up the repair and received a confirmation. On the day of, the technician never showed up. I contacted Square Trade and went through their lengthy process to speak with a representative. After about a half hour, I spoke with someone who understood my complaint and then put me on hold to make contact with the technician. Several minutes later, he explained that the technician was currently working on another assignment and that the technician stated he had attempted to contact me earlier in the day to confirm that the replacement parts had arrived. To be clear, I never received any contact from the technician and Square Trade should know that the parts were delivered because *** uses tracking numbers. I'm still waiting for my TV to be repaired and I can say with complete certainty that I will never buy another warranty from Square Trade ever again.

Upon requesting a second replacement phone due to damage, I was informed that 2 is the limit. After receiving notification that my 2nd replacement was scheduled to be shipped, I cancelled the $3/month warranty. It's incredible to me that the warranty cancellation was used to stop the shipment of my replacement phone. It's even more astounding that I was not notified. I don't know how to think of this other than a deliberate attempt to cheat me.

Online it would not take my email. I called it would not take my order number. Never talked to a person. The printer will not work I am at a dead end.

I have always gotten a SquareTrade warranty with my appliance purchases. I've only had to use them twice, but each time, the process was smooth. Pro-tip, inform yourself - speak to a store associate or call them to ask about their coverage options.

I filed a claim for my *** on Mon. Oct. 8, 2018. My phone has died and has been unresponsive since Saturday Oct 6,2018. I am extremely disappointed with the service I have receive from squaretrade. I have received two phones that cannot access the *** network. Both still being locked on the ***. It’s been already six days that I’ve been without a phone which I need for my means of employment. I lose wages everyday for not having a functional phone. I have repeatedly gone back and forth with squaretrades’s poor customer service reps. This whole process started again Saturday Oct 6,2018 when my original phone became unresponsive after shutting it off for being overly hot. We called the claim in on the squaretrade insurance Monday morning Oct 8, 2018. We received the first phone on Tuesday Oct 9, 2018. After spending the better part of three hrs between being on the phone with a *** rep and the *** store customer service agent trying to activate. It was determined that the replacement phone was not totally unlocked and still trying to access the *** network and not ***. The solution that squaretrade gave was to ship out another phone that would be unlocked and able to access the *** network. But they said that they didn’t have a *** phone in stock and would have to outsource the phone from a third party. Which could take up to two business days just to locate a phone. I was informed I would receive a call to confirm when a compatible phone could be found and shipped out along with a corresponding email with tracking number. I received the second phone Thursday Oct 11, 2018 before receiving any correspondence that was promised. Fortunately, somebody happened to be home to receive the, signature needed on delivery, package that we were not aware of arriving at the time that it arrived. And yet this second phone still doesn’t access the *** network. After calling back another time regarding this issue and being hung up on by the customer service rep ***, eventually after talking to a supervisor, squaretrade wanted to send out another phone, which at this point I had/have no confidence they can send me the phone compatible to the *** network. Their last solution was for me to send the original phone back, along with the two replacement phones in three separate boxes to expedite the returns, they claim, before issuing a check for the retail price of the ***. Valued at $899. This has been a very unsatisfactory service provided by a so called reputable insurance provider. After this experience I am strongly considering finding another insurance provider for my mobile devices.

When my wife's phone needed to be repaired, the store SquareTrade sent us to could not repair it. They said to go to the *** store. When my wife took the phone there and got it fixed, SquareTrade said she voided her warranty. They didn't pay for any of the work she got done. There was no purpose in having a warranty. We will never use SquareTrade again since they are obviously always looking for ways to extract the most money out of their customers without having to actually provide a service.

Took 2 months to get policy information from them so I could cancel my policy. Now I'm not getting a full refund. This company is a scam. DO NOT USE SQUARETRADE!

I purchased warranty plans with my kids' laptops on 11/25/2017. One laptop was stolen and was not covered under the plan. The other laptop quit working, so we took it into the *** store to see if it could be repaired. It could not and they suggested that the issue would be covered under the warranty plans we bought. I tried to go online to file a claim. There was an issue with my email address so I called the company to straighten it out. There was a typo regarding my email address. Once we got that figured out, I was told that my plans were canceled on 1/13/2018 and that I was "absolutely the one who canceled it." How could I have canceled the plan when I couldn't even get online because of the email typo? Then he tried to tell me that a refund check was sent to me, which is NOT true. I never received a refund check. He said that it would have gone back to my card if I used a card for my purchase. Which I did not. I paid cash. So then I was told there was no way to verify all of this since I paid cash. I will never, ever purchase one of these plans again.

I believe this is a poor warranty plan! I have been working with this company for at least 6 months on a repair for a T.V. They gave me at least 4 claim # when I call about them they could not find some of them so I had to start over? At one point I was ask if the T.V was plugged in.I was also ask if it was on a stand or mounted to the wall?? MY WARRANTY ENDS IN A MONTH AND THAT IS WHYI THINK THATS WHY THEY ARE STALLING!!!!!
