Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:As we stated in the original response, we do not feel what AA offered us is acceptable There has been no resolution We were offered $($per person) compensation in the form of flight vouchers for what was worth much more than that We lost a night in a $400/night resort with the delay on the trip out there, which we can not get back As well as the day of work we missed on the return trip In addition to all of that, we were given food vouchers for the hotels we were forced to stay in that did not cover the cost of eating there We had to spend our own money to eat Money we would not have had to spend had we not been delayed.I believe what we are asking for is not unreasonable If a company causes us to miss a $hotel night due to their mistakes, they should reimburse us for what we lost Not offer us something times less than that And additional reparations for a second lost day on the return trip plus the extra money we needed to spend at these hotels due to their delays Not to mention the hours of stress we were under during those days These $vouchers are not reimbursement, they are an invitation to spend more money on their airline.So no, we don't accept this response from them Regards, [redacted]
Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: More than two years after I made the complaint, I did not expect to see this file still open I will reiterate my previous response to American Airlines' feeble non-response:Due to the misinformation given and the resulting anxiety and wasted time it incurred, I asked AA to give me partial reimbursement of the frequent flier miles spent on this trip, up to 38,miles (half of what I spent)The email response from AA did not acknowledge any of my specific concerns, nor did it offer any form of compensation Regards, [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I was never advised of this policy until after the hockey stick was broken Best practice would have been when you took more of my money for a baggage fee, explaining that a hard case would be the only way your airline would take responsibility for anything broken by the mistreatmemt of my belongingsInstead, your airlines mishandled my baggage and took zero responsibility I will do my best, and have thus far, to never utilize your airline again Regards, [redacted]
