Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: My concerns have never been addressed Because of their failure to complete their portion of the agreement a great loss was incured by me Regards, [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:We paid $(for of us) for Main Cabin Extra Our seats did NOT reflect that “extra” cost! If we had complained when we boarded the plane when we realized that we had been scammed, we would have hindered other boarding passengers This would not have been acceptable to AA crew They were rude and slow in responding to our requests and needs as it wasPrompt assistance was NOT provided when we requested it My mom cannot stand for extended periods of time, and needs assistance when walkingOur contact in Madrid had arranged for a wheelchair, with the instructions that we were not to be separatedThat did not happen My mom stood for an hour, or more, holding onto a partition, while my sister and I tried to get her assistance She almost passed out at one point Thankfully she did not because that would be a whole other issue She finally called to a couple of custom people who she saw, and they came to her “rescue” They “helped” her down an escalator to a bench, where she waited, again, for a wheelchairWe paid $each as a penalty for AA’s ineptness in making us miss our flight to TenerifeWe were put on stafor flights and were not allowed on any of themWe finally found an agent who changed our tickets for Monday morningSince there were no more flights on Sunday evening, and because of the late time, we finally decided to get a hotel for the night which was an additional cost to us due to AMM ineptnessWhen relating our horrific experiences to friends, and to those who helped try to get us to Tenerife, we were asked if AA provided the hotelImagine their surprise to learn that you had no intention of any such goodwillAs for our ordeal in Miami, my mom had to get on a “trolley” to get to the first comfort station You cannot imagine the difficulty climbing on and off this trolley for a person with a disability Yes, we were then taken to the next comfort station in a wheelchair, but we had a total of comfort stations and an extremely LONG wait at each one It took a total of more than ½ hours from the time we got off the plane until we got to our final waiting area That is ridiculous AND a form of discrimination Just because our mother needs a wheelchair does not mean we should be treated like 2nd class citizens and that is exactly what happened This type of treatment has never been seen at other airlines we have flown There has always been a wheelchair waiting to take us where we needed to go, and we got there is a timely mannerThe $voucher is like a slap in the face for all the trouble and discrimination we had to endure We won’t be using them anyway as we will NEVER fly American Airlines again Regards, [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:When you called me, you started off the conversation by saying that you were trying to better your relationship with the Revdex.com and that you were sorry that I missed my flight, BUT you weren't going to give me a refundI'm not sure what the purpose of that call was if you expressed your intent within the first seconds of the call, and that was to do nothing for me, but to get back into good graces with the Revdex.comI actually do NOT understand (as you stated) why I would be charged the cost of a new flight when this was in no way my faultI am a graduate student and my only income right now is through my assistantships, which don't even cover the cost of my rentI didn't choose to go on this vacation out of pure enjoyment, I was the maid of honor in my best friend's weddingThat being said, the charge of the additional payment affected me for several months, trying to catch up on billsAmerican Airlines is a billion dollar companyThe fact that you would not try to rectify what is a nominal charge to your company so that I could have the financial burden relieved that AA caused is immoral and extremely disappointingI have been flying American my whole life, but this experience has been so disheartening and my family and I don't plan on flying with AA in the future if this isn't resolved in good faithMy boyfriend wanted me to spend some time with his family in Arizona over my Christmas break, so he bought me a plane ticket as my Christmas presentOn the way home when I went to check in, we realized that my boyfriend booked the flight incorrectly and instead of booking me a 1215PM flight, he booked a 1215AM redeye, which of course we missedThis mistake was 100% his fault, but not only were the agents extremely polite to me, but they put me on the next flight, a 140PM flight, for NO extra charge and NO change feeHow two companies that have such comparable airfares have such different customer service? This makes the decision easy for me to use United in the future unless AA intends to refund me the cost of the extra ticketSince this has been such a drawn-out process, and I know we are both anxious to be done with this, I would also accept an American Airlines voucher for the cost of the additional ticket Regards, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:While American Airlines 'resolved' this issue long ago by refusing to do anything about it (indeed, they provided no customer service phone number or any way for me to correspond except through e-mail, and typically delivered canned responses), I do not consider this to be satisfactoryTheir failure to enforce their pet policy cost me thousands of dollars, and is unacceptable Regards, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:American Airlines made no attempt to remedy the hardship that their extremely poor customer service cause me and my family I maintain that: (1) we began the cheprocess with AA personnel prior to the 45-minute cut-off time for checking a bag; and (2) AA made no effort to remedy their error in checking us in, the staff was extremely rude, and in fact charged us a rebooking fee of $to take a later flight I requested that at the very least AA refund us the $rebooking fee and they refused, taking no responsibility for their error and poor customer serviceIt is no surprise that AA continues to rank near the bottom of most lists for customer service satisfaction, and maintains an "F" rating by the Revdex.com Their over month delay in even responding to my Revdex.com complaint is evidence that they have no intention of improving their service Regards, [redacted]

It conviently cheats your customer for AA to pocket the money they spent on that leg of the flightI spent getting home and your lousy overpriced, price gouging, sy customer service of an airline doesnt care and wont reimburse meThe lady over the intercom said they would reimburse passengers only to avoid protestIf I ever see an AA flight canceled with a representitive boldy lying to all the customers again I will cause an uprising!! This flight # should be under investigation as it conviently cancels that leg from LAX to San Diego routinelyMy family and friends have all been affected and your poor excuse of a voucher does nothing for me as I will never fly with your sy service againLuckily, I'm in the travel industry and have already started a petion and urged clients not to fly with AA Please pass this on to AA Regards, [redacted]
