[This letter does nothing to acknowledge HelloFresh's practice of bait and switch tactics, offering me a $discount on my first order, (what is a purchase of a gift card (meals for 3), if not my first order??) only to add the $back in upon checkoutIf you don't want to offer your $discount to the purchase of a gift card order, then you should state this on your email offer you sent meNo where in your email offer of $discount on my first order did it say anything about exceptions. I completed your online form, provided you with MY financial information, which you require in order to establish an account with HelloFreshI also gave you the name and address of the gift card recipientWhy you demand my gift card recipient give you HER financial information in order redeem her gift card, and to open an account with HelloFresh IS UNNECESSARYYour company is over reachingAll you needed to establish she was the intended recipient, was to ask her for her name and address! Since I had provided it when I purchased the gift card, viola!, you have ALL YOU NEED TO VERIFY THE RIGHTFUL RECIPIENT! ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

HelloFresh e-mailed me and said that my  account want cancelled which was not the issue I was stating. My issue is that I was told that my account was already paused for the maximum eight weeks, but then they re-activated my account six weeks after my interaction with Junette. I want a refund of $69 for the order I asked to have cancelled BEFORE it was shipped because I would not be home to receive the package because I was in the hospital for one of my surgeries. Their practices aren't clear, don't inform consumers that there account is being reactivated after a pause, and it prematurely reactivated. There is also nothing that states that there is a maximum amount of weeks your account can be paused before it is automatically reactivated without any notice; the only reason I knew about this procedure is because of a customer service representative I spoke to in August (the same one that said my account was already paused for the maximum amount). Another issue is that thei customer service representatives are the ones who give different information depending on who you speak to. I find the response they sent also doesn't accept responsibility for their own inconsistency and tried to imply that I was confused, when in reality I am only understanding their service by how THEIR employees communicate it to me. So this issue is not resolved until they refund me the $69 for the order I asked to be cancelled many days before it was scheduled to be delivered.
