Archival Albums & Photo Pages Reviews (489)

Review: On 8/23/14, I ordered a photo album and 3 packages of photo pages online for a total of $48.91. My Visa card was charged for this amount on 8/24/14. When the products were not received after about 2 weeks I started to call the number on the website. Finally on 9/26/14, I got a person to answer the phone and was told that part of my order was on back order. After changing the color for the album I was told it would be immediately sent out. I waited for the product throughout the month of October, leaving a few messages on their number and trying their online help option. I never got any response back. Finally on 11/3/14, I was able to get through on their number and told them to cancel the order and refund my money. I was told that they would process the refund but it would take 7-10 days for a check to be mailed. When I didn't receive anything I started calling again leaving messages since rarely did anyone answer the phone. On 12/20/14, I finally got a call back that said they had sent the check in Nov. After telling them (again) I had received nothing I was told they would check with their bank. Again I waited and called numerous times through Jan. and Feb. but still no progress has been made. On the few times I get a person to answer they tell me the same thing I was told in Dec. and show no progress in getting me my refund. I've called [redacted], the number on the website; [redacted] the number noted on my Visa bill for the original charge, and [redacted], the number of "[redacted]" the supervisor of the person on the help line. After probably 30 calls I still can't get any answers.Desired Settlement: I'd prefer an immediate credit to my Visa but a refund check that actually gets to me would be satisfactory too. As a last resort I would accept that the original order be filled and sent to me. During this delay I did finally have to order from another company so this last option would be better than having nothing to show for my $48.91 payment but I'd rather have my money refunded.

Review: I ordered from them in March, 2014, order #[redacted], for $51.88 of photo pages. I have called and emailed and still no order, or any kind of response. They should be shipped to [redacted], which I have indicated on my calls and correspondence.Desired Settlement: That my order will be delivered or I will credited for the amount of $51.88 to my PayPal account.

Review: Put in an order in Jan.21, 2014 and have not received my order yet. They have taken money out of my account Jan 22, 2014. In the amount of $41.94 .I called their customer service number (1-877-814-2554) and talk to them several times about my order, they keep telling me that it is on back order. Called them every day for a week now and all I get is a recording saying to leave my number and they will get back to later in the day. No calls have come through yet. All I want is my product that I ordered or my money back.Desired Settlement: Order placed or a refund back to credit card

Dear Revdex.com,

Review: I placed an order on January 16, 2015 with Archival Photo Pages (order #[redacted]) for 4 photo albums. I have an order confirmation from them. I have been back and forth with them over these past months trying to get my order delivered. At first, I emailed them every month or so and they always said they would send my order. But then all communication stopped. I tried to call them, but it always went to voice mail, and they never called me back, even though they promised to do so within 24 hours. If they don't intend to deliver, they should at least let me know.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive a letter or email from Archival Photo Pages (not a phone call) letting me know when my order will be delivered. If they cannot send me the order, it would be professional courtesy to let me know, so that I will not be expecting it and the order can be cancelled. I would also appreciate an email from the Revdex.com letting me know if this is resolved.

On 8/7/15 the order was reissued with delivery promised to be shipped in 30 days. I have not yet received my photo albums.

Review: I ordered photo pages and albums on May 5, 2014. I was told the order would ship about June 19, 2014. I paid in full with my Paypal account. The total was $61.97. I have never received the order or a refund of the amount I paid. I have called them, emailed them and while there is an automatic response to my email, and they promise to send the items soon, nothing every happens. When I call the company, there is just a automated system that takes messages. I sent emails on May 21, 2014, June 27, 2014 and August 28, 2014. They respond, usually, and say they are checking things out, waiting for the product to ship to them, production problems, can't refund to Paypal, etc, etc. But nothing ever happens.

I just received a new catalog from them in the mail!! They are still sending catalogs and I am beginning to believe it is just a scam to get orders, take money, and never ship them.Desired Settlement: I want my money refunded ASAP!! $61.97

Review: On January 24, 2014 I ordered $256 worth of product from Archival Photo Pages. No product ever came even after I called and also used their online operator. Three times over 7 weeks I was told the items I ordered were in stock. Three delivery dates were given and three times nothing came. Subsequently I cancelled my order over the phone and was told they would refund the amount to my credit card. No refund came. I was given an excuse that the person doing the refunds was on vacation and the person filling in was swamped. I waited again. Nothing happened. I called again. I was told they would send me a check. Again nothing happened. I called again and was told a check had been cut but they did not know where it was. Shockingly 2 weeks later a check did come. A few days after depositing the check my bank sent me a notice that it had bounced due to "not sufficient funds" and they were assessing me a $10 fee because of it. I went to the bank the check had been drawn on and was told to continue trying daily to cash the check. I tried every working day for 4 weeks and there was never enough in their account to cash the check. I called Archival daily and at different times. They would not answer my calls. Their online operator was never online so I sent an email explaining my situation. Eventually I received an email. I was told they would send me a money order. That was over a month ago. Archival continues to not answer my calls or emails. From my painful and exasperating experience with Archival Albums & Photo Pages it is my opinion they are not an honest or reputable company with which to do business. Further, it is my opinion they are only in business to deceive and steal peoples' money. I do not believe they have any product at all. STAY AWAY FROM archival albums $ photo pages!!!!Desired Settlement: Refund $256.43 to me. And the $10 fee from my bank if possible.

Dear San Diego Revdex.com,

Thank you for your email. I had solicited the help of our local NBC TV affiliate . They help people who have problems with unreputable businesses. Once they got involved I received a phone call from a " manager" at Archival Albums desiring to resolve my problem with them. Six days later I received a check from Archival and four days after that my bank told me that it had cleared. Archival also told me they would send my order in full (in three weeks). I do not believe they will. But as long as they have now refunded my order, including a $10 bounced check fee my bank charged me for Archival's first refund check, I am satisfied and feel my complaint has been resolved.

Thank you for your efforts in helping me get a resolution to this problem. I am thankful the Revdex.com is around to help people with situations such as mine.

Sincerely,

Review: In January 2014 I ordered a Double Album Gift Set from Archival Photo Pages. I received the order within three weeks but part of the order was not included. There were to be 100 photo pages and I received only 50. On February 3, 2014, at 2:06 PM I called the company, spoke with [redacted], and she assured me the missing pages would be sent. Thus far I have not received them. I have since called the company and have only been able to leave messages. Those phone calls were on March 3, 2014 in the mid afternoon, on March 5, 2014 at 9:02 AM, and on March 21, 2014 at 10:32 AM. Those calls have not been returned. On March 6, 2014 I sent a letter to Archival Photo Pages with a copy of the catalog page from which I ordered and a copy of their packing slip in which I explained what had happened and asked for the pages to be sent to me. As of now, April 4, 2014, I have had no response. Archival Photo Pages is not honoring their advertised item.Desired Settlement: I want to get the missing 50 photo pages or else a refund.

Review: On Feb. 18, 2014 I placed an order with Archival Photo Pages of San Diego for albums and pages totally $68.90 and I have still not received it. After 2 weeks I e-mailed them to ask about my order and received a reply saying some items were on back order and would arrive by Mar. 13 and would be shipped right after that. However, by Mar. 31 when they still had not arrived, I tried calling their toll free number and was told to go on line and do a live chat, which I did. They told me that the pages were then being sent from the factory and I should receive my order in 24 to 48 hours. By April 14 when they still didn't arrive I tried to do live chat but it was not operating and was told to send an e-mail, which I did, asking where my order is at. I received a reply saying someone would contact me within 24 hours, but no one did.Desired Settlement: So on April 17 I sent another notice and received the same message back, but they have never replied and I still don't have my order. Now what??? Is there any way I can get this settled?

Dear Revdex.com,

Review: I ordered over $200.00 worth of products from the Archival Photo Company in San Diego in January 2015. When I did not receive my order after 6 weeks, I sent the company an email. There was no response. Since then I have been emailing as well as calling on a weekly basis. I finally got a response from [redacted] on May 1, 2015, stating that she thought the order was sent out weeks ago. She also stated that she will check into why I have not received my order and get back with me. Needless to say, I haven't heard back. I sent another email and called on May 30, 2015 asking for a refund. I have not had a response back from the company.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund check for the amount of the products that I never received.

Review: I ordered $73 worth of photo scrapbooking materials from this company on Jan. 20, 2014. Since that time I received a handwritten letter on Feb 12, 2014from one employee in response to my phone inquiry as to delay in promised materials, which I had charged to my Visa account. The letter assured my delivery by Feb. 27, which did not happen. In March I called company again, this time talking to a "supervisor" who explained that the original company I had previously used through the years had been bought out by the actual supplier to the old company, that in the process of fulfilling orders that were backordered, they had fallen behind. She expressed concern for my wait, and promised delivery "as soon as possible" I said I understood but since that time I have received no other information from the company as to when delivery would take place or any other information.Desired Settlement: If they cannot produce my order of two large scrapbook 3 ring, and the inserts for photos and the identifying edge binder cards as ordered, I would like a refund.

Review: Ordered an album of sorts for p[ost cards. Called many many times and finally talked to a man who said he would send a free album monogrammed. Wanted to make up for all the time I waited. Waited again for many weeks and was so fed up I asked for the money back. He sent the check and I deposited into my bank account. The check bounced and I was charged an additional $ 12.00. Have been calling for 2 months once again and cannot get a return call. Have once again sent a copy of the bounced check.Desired Settlement: Send my money back plus$ 12.00

Review: I placed an order on July 9, 2014 and I still haven't received it. I contacted them on Augst 7 and August 22 2014 and they assured me I would receive my order and that they had been backed up on their orders. However, they have processed my order and it has shown up on my Mastercard. The total amount was $63.06. My order # is [redacted]. The representatives I feel, are giving me the runaround. They keep reassuring me I'll get my order but I have still received nothing. If I don't get my order I would like my money credited back on my credit card.I would like a settlement.Desired Settlement: Since it doesn't look like like I'm going to get my order I would like a refund.

Review: Order Date: 04/01/14, Order #: [redacted], Product: Light-Weight Archival Photo Pages Holds 6-4'X6" - Narrow Vertical Horizonal (25/Pak), Product #: [redacted], Cost: $45.59, Payment Method: Credit Card, My credit card debited: 04/02/14.

On 04/11/14 I spoke with [redacted] in Customer Service who advised that the order was on backorder and would ship onMonday/Tuesday 04/14-15/2014 via UPS Ground. On 04//24/13 I had a computer Live Chat with a customer service agent who advised she had no record of my April 11th conversation; and the material for the pages were scheduled to be received on 05/01/14 to "create the pages". I requested a refund to my credit card. The agent advised that a a check would have to be issued because they were "switching cc merchants" and "it wtill take about take 7 to 10 business days". I also requested a verification that my refund request was processed and was told that the refund had to be processed before verification. On 05/08/14 Heidi could not find my request for a refund. she said she would put in the request and it would be 7-10 days. On May 27th I telephoned and could only leave a message for a call back. I have not heard from this company to date!Desired Settlement: I paid for the product at the time I placed the order. The product was not delivered as promised, I requested a refund and was assured it would be processed 3 TIMES, and my credit card was debited immediately. Therefore I want a refund of $45.59, I paid they have MY money, there should be no problem refunding $45.59 back to me.

Review: I placed an order on 11/14/2014 for three album binders and no personalization. My credit card was billed $41.85 right away. I still have not received my merchandise. I called on 1/5/15 and was told that there was a glitch in the system and they would call me back in 24-48 hours. I received no call. I called again on 1/19/15 and an [redacted] at [redacted] told me that the system was down and should be back up by Thursday. I called numerous times on 1/27/15 and could not get through at all. On 2/3/15 I called an spoke with a [redacted] who put me through to the shipping dept. After 20 minutes they did not answer the phone. I called back again and spoke with the same CS person and I asked to speak with a manager. I was on hold for another 20 minutes and no one picked up. I called right back and got [redacted] a 3rd time and she asked for my name and number and said she would have her manager call back. I had issues just like this before where I was billed and I was given the run around month after month for a year before I got my product. I only ordered from them again because my album collections have always been bought from [redacted] which I was told Archival had bought out and I didn't want to change my photo library.Desired Settlement: I would really like the order shipped to me or refund my money.
