Archival Albums & Photo Pages Reviews (489)

Review: I placed an order on 3-15-2014 for photo albums and pages. When I contacted the company on 4-8-14 [redacted]@archivalphotopages.com said the photo pages had become out of stock and she hoped they would be in 4-10, and I would have

priority shipping. I still have not received them. I called the number several times, all I can do is leave a message, no live person to talk to. No one has called me back in one week. So I sent an email, there is no response.

If I can not get any of the products I ordered, then I want my money back.

the phone # I have called is 1-877-814-2554

My order # [redacted] and I paid $153.55 with a mastercard.Desired Settlement: If I can not receive the products, then I want a refund of $153.55.

Review: I ordered photo pages from this company 8/18/14 for the amount of $109.82. They took the money from my credit card and never sent the products that I ordered. Called them many times and they would not answer, return calls or e-mails. On Dec 30 I e-mail them and told them to return my money if they couldn't send the products. and I received a return e-mail on Jan 5 that said my request was being sent to the bookkeeping dept.Desired Settlement: I think 5 months is a long time for a company to keep trying to avoid talking to me, they have used my money all this time. At this point just want my money back.

Review: (this is a complaint against Archival Photo Pages)

I had dealt with Archival Photos for several years and found them satisfactory (up to 2014). When my order still hadn't arrive in late September, I wrote the company a letter explaining my order not being fulfilled, then I went to my banker who found out that my check was cashed at [redacted] in [redacted]. In the winter I made 2 more phone calls. I am coming to the Revdex.com for help and resolution to my problem since some complaints have been resolved.Desired Settlement: I would like the amount of my check refunded ($55.91).

Review: I am trying to contact the company regarding an order placed the last week in June. My bank statement shows that my personal check has been cashed but I have not received my order. I have placed several calls to the company and always told to leave my message on their voice mail. My voice mail messages have not been answered.

Review: On August 10, 2014 I ordered $131.64 worth of product. On August 18th my check was cashed. It is now 6 months later and after multiple phone calls attempting to either get my ordered product or have my money returned, I still have nothing. Companies such as this who have multiple complaints need to be shut down. If the Revdex.com doesn't do anything about it, that what is their purpose.Desired Settlement: Full refund. And shut them down.

Review: Placed an order online 12/9/14 for 3 packages photo pages (order # [redacted] for a total of $57.88. The payment was taken out of my [redacted] account on 12/10/14. To date I have not received my order. I have called their customer service number at least six times. Two weeks ago I received a call back from their customer service department, they said they would look into my compiant and call me back the following Monday. I have not received another call and or received my order. They have my $57.88, pretty much like stealing the funds.Desired Settlement: I would like my order or a full refund

Review: I placed an order with this company on December 31st in 2013. I hadn't heard from them so when I called, I was told they were shipped on 2/18/2014. I called on 3/3/2014 and received a tracking number. However after being in the shipping and receiving field before retirement I know you can't get a tracking number until the package is picked up by the carrier. I called again and was told it shipped on 3/31/2014. I finally received the shipment in April 7th. Upon opening the package I found two that the spine was completely loose from the Binder, so I called them immediately on that day and left a message. On 4/8/2014 I received a call from them and told it was shipping on 4/8/2014. I called at 5:30 PM

Eastern Daylight Savings Time and was told it would ship Monday the 21st or Tuesday the 22nd and once again she tried to give me a tracking number. Well once again you can't track a package when it hasn't shipped because that comes from the carrier upon pickup.Desired Settlement: In their catalog they tell how good they are, etc. But I just wish I could get a straight answer. After all the customer deserves proper service without the various runarounds and time consumed trying to locate their order. So at this time I still don't know when my replacement binders are going to ship and when I can expect them. As I said above I worked in shipping and receiving for 30 plus years and I know it doesn't take an act of congress to pack up two replacement binders and get them sent out. That's no more than a 10 minute job and since their quality is so poor that their binders fall apart, wouldn't you want to do everything in your power to keep your customers?

You won't believe this but I have written many letters of commendation to companies when they excel. This is only the second letter of complaint that I have written and I'm 76 years of age.

Thanks for listening

Dear Revdex.com<

Review: This company never shipped the product I ordered though they did charge my credit card. They never responded to my voice mails or emails, and I was never able to reach anyone on the phone.Desired Settlement: I would like my credit card refunded and the order cancelled.

Review: Ordered $45.62 worth of products on February 9, 2014. After numerous apologetic e-mails, I was given a tracking number for my shipment which was never received. Requested information on package on three separate occasions and have not received any response. Using the company's phone number is not an option. It always goes to voice mail and a response is never received.Desired Settlement: Provide me with my order or credit my account.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

I have received my order. Thank you very much for your assistance in this matter.

Respectfully,

Review: Unable to receive product that I ordered and paid for. I have tried calling and emailing this business, only to get no satisfaction. The phone number is always busy and my emails are computer generated stating that someone would contact me within 24hrs. My bank cleared my check on 1/17/15.Desired Settlement: To receive my order which has been paid for in full or to receive a refund.

Review: On March 22, 2014 I placed an order with Archival Albums and Photo Pages charged to my VISA card. My order did not arrive so I contacted the company in late April re: the no-show. I received a call from a company rep saying that their inventory had become depleted but they expected to have it replenished by early May and I should receive my order by May 10. It did not appear and I didn't follow up on the matter at that time because my husband was dealing with cancer. He passed away in mid-July and in late July I received another e-mail saying that a rep would be calling. Still had no order delivered. I contacted them again in early September to request my money back or I would report them to the Revdex.com. I received the "stock" e-mail notice that a co. rep would be calling me, but heard nothing.Desired Settlement: I don't believe this company is reputable and should be given an undesirable business rating

Review: I mailed an order to Archival Photo Pages on February 6, 2014 for 6 items. Merchandise and shipping totaled $55.53. That check cleared my bank on February 14, 2014. I did not receive ANY merchandise until April 8, 2014 and that was only because I called more than once inquiring for it. They were only able to send me a partial shipment, 3 of the items, totaling $21.65 stating the rest of the items were on back order. 124 days of back order have passed now and my email and phone inquiries are being left unanswered. (the phone calls request my name and number and that they will get back to me, but they never do have)Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded for the items I have not received. That is a merchandise total of $23.91, plus my S&H fee of $9.97, or a total of $33.88.

My disgust is that I believe this company may have operated under another name a few years back calling themselves Century Plastics and that I actually ordered from them then and never received all of my items.......and let it go. They said on one of my phone inquiries then, that they had had a fire. With the passage of time and receipt of a new catalog in the mail-- with the basically identical products as I had seen in Century Plastics, I actually thought they had gotten back in business and changed their name. I feel a fool for not checking in to it more.

Review: Submitted order January 11, 2014, payment was taken from my account, allowed sufficient time to receive product and received nothing. Contacted company February 4, 2014, and was informed via email that some products were back ordered until March 20, 2014. I have contacted company within the last 30 days with no response and still have not received product, however they have received payment.Desired Settlement: Product or return of money

Review: I sent an order form with a check on Feb.16th, the company returned the check and said they had the wrong name on the order form, so I sent a new check on Mar. 20th. And then made several phone calls to the company, over the next month, each time they reassured me my order was going out that week, I called on 4-22-14 to have my check returned to me and cancel my order. I never got it, and my bank statement shows the check cleared at the end of March. So I called again on 5-26-14, and was told that my order was going out that week, and they claim they didn't know anything about returning my check. They have a great product, but it shouldn't take that long to get an order or your money back.Desired Settlement: To prevent this from happening to someone else.

Response:

Dear Revdex.com,

We are sending this customer's order out today by 5:00 PM Pacific time. UPS tracking #: [redacted] will confirm the shipment of this order. We do apologize about any inconvenience caused to this customer. We recently changed a few things within our company to prevent these types of back orders from happening again. We are sending this order out and if the customer still requests a refund then we will absolutely refund her as well as the customer keeping her order. We do hope that whether refunded or not the customer is satisfied with the product. We do apologize again.

Review: Order with company placed on 7/31/2014 for photo pages in the sum of $74.82. My credit card was charged for this (and paid) in August 2014. No delivery has been received. My repeated attempts to contact the company by phone and e-mail (multiple attempts since early September (9/9/2014))were NOT answered. The phone calls were answered by machine with a promise to call back within 24 hours and this never occurred, the e-mails by form response with same promise. Over the last 48 hours I have repeated this process again and received no response!Desired Settlement: I would like the merchandise that I paid for shipped to me ASAP (within a week) or a full refund sent to me.

Review: Ihad ordered a Family Tree Album Kit from this company on June 27th.After hearing nothing for 2 month, I inquired via email about the order. I got a response back what they have in stock and if they should send it. A phone call from the company followed regarding this, and she would send out the merchandise within one week.4 weeks later......nothing.......On September 8 I requested a refund, which they acknowledged and promised to process the same day..........it's going into the4th week nothing.. they apologized for the delay.....delay is if something comes late......nothing ever came, no merchandise,no refund !!!!Their customer service is not very responsive to complaints, and you can never reach anybody on the phone......Desired Settlement: I would like a refund as soon a possible

Review: I ordered photo pages on 12/10/2014, and have not received them. I have called numerous time, with no answer. I have emailed twice, with no response.Desired Settlement: Delivery of merchandise, or refund of my $130.58.

Review: I placed an order using the Archival Albums & Photo Pages website www.archivalphotopages.com on January 19, 2014 in the amount of $123.67.

The charge for the order posted to my credit card on January 20, 2014. I left several messages and spoke with customer service representatives on at least 5 different occasions over the past 6 months regarding non-delivery of the order which was acknowledged by them to have been on back-order.

I received an e-mail communication on May 20, 2014 stating that the order would ship by June 12th. Finally, on June 16, 2014 when I confirmed that the order had still not shipped, I sent an e-mail requesting the order be cancelled and the purchase amount refunded to my credit card. Since then I've left several more messages and spoken with at least 3 customer service representatives one of which ([redacted]) who informed me that my credit card number had been purged from the system and she needed me to provide it to her again in order to process the credit to my account. I provided her with my credit card number and she informed me that the credit memo #[redacted] reflected that the refund had been processed.

As of June 11th, the credit has NOT been issued to my card.Desired Settlement: The outcome I desire is a refund of the amount that was charged to my credit card.

I am requesting that a refund check be mailed to my new address in Virginia as I am a military spouse and active duty retiree and no longer living at the address in Rhode Island where the order was placed and requested to be shipped.

Review: I placed an order on 11/14/2014 for three album binders and no personalization. My credit card was billed $41.85 right away. I still have not received my merchandise. I called on 1/5/15 and was told that there was a glitch in the system and they would call me back in 24-48 hours. I received no call. I called again on 1/19/15 and an [redacted] at 203-304-6864 told me that the system was down and should be back up by Thursday. I called numerous times on 1/27/15 and could not get through at all. On 2/3/15 I called an spoke with a [redacted] who put me through to the shipping dept. After 20 minutes they did not answer the phone. I called back again and spoke with the same CS person and I asked to speak with a manager. I was on hold for another 20 minutes and no one picked up. I called right back and got [redacted] a 3rd time and she asked for my name and number and said she would have her manager call back. I had issues just like this before where I was billed and I was given the run around month after month for a year before I got my product. I only ordered from them again because my album collections have always been bought from Century Plastics which I was told Archival had bought out and I didn't want to change my photo library.

Product_Or_Service: 3 photo albumsDesired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Other (requires explanation)

I would really like the order shipped to me or refund my money.

Review: I complained about this company once before. At the time they were named [redacted] Several years ago, probably 2009 or 2010, I ordered approximately $300 worth of binders and slip cases from them which I never received. They said there was a fire in the factory. They would not cancel the order and refund my money. After I contacted the Revdex.com I got a phone call and they said they would issue me a check for a refund. The check never came. (There is a new company called [redacted] that is reputable. I believe they bought it from these people.) They are now operating under this new name Archival Albums and Photo Pages. I received a catalog, so I contacted them to see if I could rectify the problem. I explained the whole history of the situation. I have a chain of emails showing that they promise to send the merchandise and never do so. They have basically done low resolution scans of the [redacted] catalog and put their name on it and from what a representative at [redacted] told me, they continually take orders and don't deliver product. They rarely answer the phone, there is always a recording. Emails are now also going unanswered. I fear I will never see this money again.Desired Settlement: I would like my money back. I would like a bank check or cash equivalent since I have no faith in the company writing a good check.
