Terrible support structureIf they have to bury a wire to set up your account just go ahead and cancelThe customer service representatives aren't able to communicate all of the information from the buried wire teamI had different appointments set (all of which I had to wait at home for) the first one was minutes late and told us they needed to bury a wire which could take up to weeksI inquired again week later to check on the status and they informed me that the engineering team had decided we didn't need a buried wireSo we set up another appointmentThe tech came out again and again told us that engineering was wrong we do in fact need a buried wireThey left the order in place for the buried wire and said that they would follow up with us in two weeksTwo weeks later we have no buried wire and no updateI call again and they set up an appointment for someone to come and install the wireNo call no showI call again and am told that they are sorry for the confusion but they will schedule the cable burying for last FridayNo call no showI called yesterday and was told that a representative will be here the next day to bury the wire and one will be there to complete activation between and No call no showI called today at and was told I needed to call the buried wire team myselfI am working for ATT now so that I can pay themThe buried wire team tells me they have a back log with city permitting and cannot tell me when they will be able to install the serviceThe representatives were all nice but they were almost all lying to me to get me off the phone or were completely ignorant to what was actually happening with my orderATT can't even get me set up and has cost me around hours between waiting on appointments and sitting on the phone with themDON'T DO ITThey paid for that A+ rating, they have 95% negative reviews

I've had AT&T for roughly months and have had nothing but problemsI have been lied to on three separate occasions and I have had bad servicesOne representative tells me one thing and another tells me anotherI have been hung up on while trying to resolve issues and not been called backThey continually fail to hold up their end of the dealI have an AT&T tower right behind my house and my internet service is still spotty even though I have been told I was being given the best servicesI have been trying to get my AT&T and Direct TV bundled and they fail to do it resulting in me not getting my Direct TV bill land being charged late feesI would recommend people not sign with AT&T and use literally any other serviceI will be changing services once my contact is up

I have had nothing but problem with AT&TFirst they could not get my wireless information in orderI transferred off my father's account onto my own and for some time my bill and phone number kept appearing in my father's nameSpoke to multiple representatives before it was properly fixedTHEN I was assured by an agent not once but twice that my phone installments were paid offReviewed my bill and installment charges were on thereWhen asked what AT&T can do to accommodate per the error of their employee they informed me they could do nothingNOW I have had an "outage" in my area for daysLike most internet is needed for work related purposesI asked what can AT&T do to accommodate for not providing the service that I am paying forThis case it is cable and internetThey again informed me they can do nothing except activate my hot spot and that there is not ETA when the outage would be repairedI initially was told hours it would be fixed then 24-hoursWe are now on day and they are still stating no ETA when it will be fixedI asked if they can provide a MiFi for the time being since internet is necessary for my line of workThe agent stated they didn't even know what that wasI escalated times and still nobody could give answersAT&T HAS AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE AND IN NO WAY KNOWS HOW TO TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERSGive your employees proper training so your customers don't have to continuously be transferred, repair their situation only to be told the same thing as the last representativeAt this point I feel I have no other choice but to cancelAlso, the representatives I spoke with were not pleasant in any sort of waySuper uneducated and poor tone of voiceOverall awful experience with AT&T and I would NEVER recommend their service to anyone

Horrible customer service

We cancelled our services with AT&T after years However, they never terminated services internally Thus, we are being charged for services that were not used They send us to collections for $which they can not explain why First collections company Credence Resource Manag, TX dropped the case We sent in our explanation, and they returned the case to AT&TThen, Sunrise Credit Services, Inc, in NY Now AT&T is trying a different collections company named Diversified Consultants in FL An explanation letter was sent in to Diversified Consultants on march 21st, and as of today we have not received and answer It is our intention to clear this situation as soon as possible However, AT&T needs to do some internal work first It seems like it is a glitch on their system that never got fixedI WASN'T ABLE TO UPLOAD ALL PAGES OF SUPPORT DOCS Is there a fax number or mail address I may send these pages in? Att customer service continues to illegally services to my account, make unauthorized charges and cancelling my phone services even after services have been paid forTheir customer service department continues to hang up phone calls and unable to fix their mistakesThey do not put adequate notes in their systems and supervisors make promises of having issues resolvedWhen calling their representatives they hang up on purpose

After recent conversations we experienced with AT&T customer service, we am certain this review is wasted time and energy, just as those conversations wereWe're not sure when AT&T became a company that has no regard for customer service, but know it is the case nowWe had been AT&T residential landline customers for years, most recent years with the same address and phone number, until last week We recently moved, and attempted to establish landline service at the new address (within the same locale), with no success, to date, due to the frustrating policy's imposed by the companyWe were actually told that establishing landline service "does NOT include a working jack"! That conversation resulted in deciding not to continue our serviceAfter much discussion, we decided that we still wanted to establish a landline, so we called back, within a week, to ask to re-establish the serviceThis was the most recent frustrating experienceWe were told that prior account history with AT&T does not count! That since we discontinued our service, last week, a credit check will be requiredWe are not concerned about the credit check, however, our credit reports are frozen to protect our creditThus, no immediate service can be established, since this will require contacting the credit bureaus to unlock our creditTo our knowledge we never once paid our bill late, in over years, but was told "that doesn't count"It appears, that this company doesn't really care if they keep customers, or notWhat a disappointing revelation

This complaint regards AT&T Uverse billing, and how they did not provide the discount offered beginning May 7, until presently (September 2, 2016)
When requesting transfer AT&T Uverse and internet service to my new apartment, the Customer Service Representative offered a package at a lower rate than my previous address He offered: Uverse U-200, 18mps internet speed, and home phone for $per month ($+ phone service at $9.99)plus required taxes and fees, for one (1) year term service This should have made the monthly bill around $135.xx My first bill total was $148.95, which was higher than expected, but not outrageous Now my bill has increased to $per month, plus taxes, which puts it closer to $per month!
AT&T is outrageous with price gouging

In January when we moved into a new house Robbie *** stopped by from ATTHis contact info is XXX-XXX-XXXX and email is ***@att.comHe convinced us to switch our wireless to ATT and that they *** issue a credit to us so that it doesn't cost us anything to switch from SprintWe sent him our final bill that was around $We were also told our monthly payment TOTAL will be $We received a $credit and a $creditAll of our efforts to reach *** have been ignoredWe have called, texted and emailed himOn 5/7/I called ATT and they said they can not help me, only Robbie canI asked to cancel my service and was told it would cost me $to cancel!
In addition, I was charged over $to my account from ATT and no one can tell me what for!
At this point, I would like to cancel all my services, turn in the phones, received the credit I was promised and not occur $to cancel my services

Promises made in discussion on the day I signed up for Uverse/internet services were not honored
I signed up to have UVerse installed in May of In that discussion in which I signed up and agreed to the services I was told by the sales person that I would receive the following for signing up: A 250$ gift card, Amazon prime for one year, and HBO go for a year I had indicated that there was a gentleman that had come by recently and talked about the gift card and they had the current promotions going onThe sales person affirmed in the phone call that I would get the gift card and the amazon prime and the hbo go When my service was first connected I did get the HBOgo Several weeks went by and enough time had passed and I called to check on my gift card A rep told me to wait a few more weeks because it could take up to six weeks I called back around July 9th and was surprised to talk to a guy that said I didn't qualify for the gift card and that he was going to have hi

wasted m,y time tech offered to upgrade for free and keep the price the same so I dont have to wait for another tech to come out for the better part of a decade I have have never had the speed I am being sold and paid forit is always 6-mbs less than what I payi always find myself waiting for four hours for a tech to come ot my housewho proceeds to fix the problem ONLY during the visit a week or two later and sure enough the problem continues and speeds drop att wants to continue trying this same approach

My husband and I canceled service with AT&T Uverse in January We paid our last bill and returned our equipmentWe continue to be billed for services we do not haveI called the 800-288-number and was put on hold Called the 888-993-number and was put on hold for minutesNo helpThe 288-number tells us we can not speak to customer service until we pay them money we do not owe themI have all my receipts from UPS that shows everything was returned on timeThis company wants to scam people!

AT&T installed our phone, tv and internet services on 09/07/We had problems with our tv service before the technician even left our home and he left without fixing itAnother technician came out the next day and we had to "bargain" with him to fix our tv service before he leftThey set up for a company to bury the services line and they came out several days later, disconnected our services, didn't reconnect them correctly, didn't wait until the utility company came to mark before burying the service line and leftThat issue caused us to have AT&T come out again and find that our services were not reconnected correctlyShortly after that issue, our 2nd dvr box isn't working correctly again and they refuse to come out and replace it, we have to wait until we get the 3rd box shipped to us, yet I'm expected to pay my bill for services that ARE NOT working correctly! This is VERY poor service and I'm absolutely disgusted that I'm now stuck in a contract that I DO NOT WANT because

There is no worse company in terms of billing practicesEven though an hour of conversation might finally get an issue resolved, the next month a bill arrives that has the same incorrect charges so it was a complete waste of timeAfter three months I am still trying to cancel my accountAppears impossibleThey really are terrible and I wish someone would do something about itNot fair!

AT&T Wireless held my phone hostage even though I owed them no fees
