AT&T Wireless held my phone hostage even though I owed them no fees As a result, I had not ability to make or receive phone calls with my new carrier This hurt and posed risk to my pregnant wife and two kids, as well as to the people that work for me

Agent made several mistakes with new order and ATT will not honor any of it Called ATT because of a promotion I received for internet and phone Agent quoted me a specific price for a level of service (internet, phone)After telling me that if I bundle TV there was another promotion and I would get the package at a month and $in Visa gift cards When I received the Order summary the internet speed was not and the package was $more a month with the first bill being over $which she never told meAll the installation costs were supposed to be waived but apparently they were not Upon calling ATT to clarify I was quickly told I should cancel my service as they won't be able to honor the package priceI suggested they check the recorded phone call so they can definitely verify I was also told that the Summary emails are problematic and incorrect which of course leaves the consumer with no correct documentation of what was actually orderedI'm glad

AT&T UNDERHANDED PRACTICES DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH AT&T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AT&T requires a contract when a customer first installs their equipment That is understandable in today's environment However, they renew and extend this contract without the customers knowledge or approval Case in point: I have AT&T internet and Direct TV which is combined into one bill each month I have been a customer of Direct TV for years I also have equipment protection in the event of some failure Of course for this protection plan I get to pay an extra premium When a piece of equipment fails AT&T/ Direct TV will gladly replace the failed equipment which is a good thing But here is the underhanded business practice Even though I have paid for a protection plan, when equipment is replaced due to a failure of AT&T's system, AT&T automatically commits the customer to another year contract without the knowledge of the customer This is not correct mainly because I have already paid for a protection plan Bottom line, AT&T conducts unacceptable business practices and has no loyalty to their customers

I have been lied to about my speed and the internet service for almost a year and the phone service has another persons name on it and the price I am tired of the smart mouth liars at this company who lie about the products and service when you call or sign upI have been taken advantage of this company for a yearI was told I would have fiver internet and phoneI was told I would have a certain megabyte and I never did, I looked at my bill and I ahve dial-up, dialup for internet!! I was told they would bury the cable outside they never did, I was told I would have certain discounts, they disappeared once they came out here to upgrade me and found out they could not then all of a sudden my account went from being with the, for a year to being a new customerThe technician lied about my services and he took away my high speed internetI want a full refund and a apology

In October I decided to switch my cable and internet from Time Warner to AT&T One of the things that was attractive to me was the fact that they promised a 'rewards card' for $ In my conversation with the rep, I was told that they would mail me the $VISA rewards card so I switched Today I called to see where the card is They informed me that my card had expired (after I had spoken with [redacted] (from India, I assume), then [redacted] and lastly with the supervisor***.At no point, when I was signing up for new service, was I told that I had to jump thru any hoops to get my rewards card nor was I told that there was an expiration date.This is a SCAM! I was told my bill would never hit over 110 and now it keeps slowly creeping past it. Was basically told too bad so sad by the "Manager" I called and talked to FR7837 on May 1st 2017 he told me my bill would never go over 110 no as it went up, I basically got told I was an it for calling as billing is subject to change by MJ1853 this lady should be fired. She has no right being a manager..
