Horrible customer service and automated phone system, No dial tone at NID and will not send service repair for one week

This is the worst customer experienceI scheduled a service appointment, already two weeks out from the date of schedule, and it was scheduled from 1-3pmOn the day of I called to see if they could come 1:or later as I had another conflicting appointment and wouldn't be home until 1:They said they would "take note" of the request but if the technician showed up it would count as a missed appointmentSo then I tried to reschedule, and ended up sitting on hold, being transferred, and waiting on the phone while the representative took TEN MINUTES to open the "tool" he was using for appointment availabilityThen he proceeded to tell me that there was no appointment today for me, in fact it was next week from 10-At this point I asked to speak with a supervisor, sat on hold for another minutes, then the supervisor came on the phone and told me yes I did have an appointment today but it was from 8am-2pm and that the system just much have changed it! And the next available appointments weren't for weeks, and even if I did reschedule a different time the system could just go in and change it all on it's own and it wouldn't matter what I scheduledThis is so unbelievableSo now I'm going to sit at home all day waiting for ATT to call me and tell me they're on their wayF this place

I have been with AT&T for yearsA decade, to be exactThroughout that time, I have had minor issues with billing, etcthat have been easily cleared up through a phone callIn fact, although having to call AT&T several times to deal with the issues, I usually got off the phone a pretty satisfied customer
But recently the company went too far
I took advantage of an online promotion on the last day it was offeredOver the phone, I ordered a "free" LG GphoneThe deal was, I had to activate a new line and pay the first three installments, which would then be credited back to me
Several months afterward, AT&T continued to bill me for the phone, and I continued to speak to reps, who would typically issue me some sort of creditFinally, in December (five months after taking advantage of "deal"), AT&T suddenly cannot find the promotion, tells me that they have no record any deal associated with the G(which I wouldn't have gotten had it not been "free" -- I gave it to my elderly grandfather), and that I owe them nearly $more dollars
To make a very long story short(er), I spent hours and hours, literally, on the phone and on chat with various representativesTwo of them said that they saw some evidence of the promotion, while the rest were allegedly obliviousIt didn't exist, they saidAnd not just lower-level representatives, but supervisorsThey created an "urgent case" for me that dragged on for weeks and weeks with no call-backAT&T continued to bill me for the phone, and I continued to call and tell them I wasn't paying for it
Finally, AFTER I filed a complaint with the Revdex.com and the FCC, coincidentally and mysteriously (note the sarcasm), I get a call from the president's officeThe person I spoke with found the promotion with no trouble and, within a day or two, assured me that I will be receiving the appropriate credits from here on outFinally, after spending hours and hours that I didn't have to waste, I got from AT&T what they promised me six months agoOf course, now I am tied to AT&T for who knows how long, while I "pay" for the is "free" phoneThis scam is well-documented online -- go to Google and see for yourself
The day I have fulfilled my obligation to them, I am finding a new carrier and never looking backUntil then, I will take every opportunity to make sure that everyone knows what a fraudster AT&T is and that no one I know takes his or her business to AT&TMy other family members, aware of what I've been dealing with, have already switched to Verizon

I have had nothing but problems with AT&T When I moved from my house and had my service disconnected until I got in my new house, AT&T disconnected my mother's service My mother is years old and she had no phone After many hours on the phone, I thought I had every thing worked out...my service disconnected and my mom's service back on They turn her service off again I gave them my name, my address and my account number for the disconnect AT&T said that the cell phone number on both accounts was the same so they used that to disconnect the service...really!?
After many more hours on the phone and writing to the Revdex.com, I got a call from someone in the president's office She said that because of all of my troubles, when I reconnected my service I would only have to pay a hundred dollars plus tax for my tv, phone and internet and I would get all new equipment and $dollars in a gift card I moved in this July 8th and I got old equipment..one box has already had to be replaced...only $gift card and $bill!!! I called and was told that this is the best that they can do I based my decision to stay with AT&T on what I was told This seems like a bait and switch scam to me I called AT&T last night The young man I talked to was very nice, but he couldn't do anything I asked to speak to a supervisor He said that she was in a meeting and she would call me back in minutes I still haven't gotten that call This isn't the first time time I have been told I would get a call back and the call never comes AT&T lies to there customers They trap you into a year contract and you have to put up with they lousy service or pay an exorbitant penalty I want what I was promised or out of the contract

Upon getting a bill times as high as my one I got Att on the phone and tried to work it out to no availeThey promised 45k internet service and do to the bad wiring at THERE DROP they cant even give me the 24k I was paying for
They sent a tech out here that I was not supposed to be charged for to tell me they cant make it workThey charged $for that! they charged me for movies I never orderedThey doubled there prices regardless if they work or not! I am supposed to be paying $per monthevery month I have to take an anxiety pill before opening the bill
