Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: It fails to address the fact that [redacted] used the information directly furnished by AutoLoss.com to deny my claim for diminished value A reasonable person would assume that a company representing itself as a diminished value specialist would run the vehicle identification numbers of the comparable vehicles located to make sure they were not tarnished by things like, you know, a TOTAL LOSS There was a total absence of due diligence, and no amount of "amending" the report, as they have stated they would do, is going to change the fact that they dropped an ironclad denial in [redacted] 's lap when they turned in the total loss vehicle (in the comp report) without identifying it as such Yes, I AM an insurance adjuster, and NO, I would not reverse my denial if I was the handling adjuster for [redacted] I paid $to AutoLoss.com to assemble a report after vetting the vehicles they intended to include There was no vetting in terms of researching the vehicle's history to make sure it was clean as mine was (19K miles at the time of the accident), and as such, they included the aforementioned total loss vehicle THAT DAMAGE CANNOT BE UNDONE They failed to find actual comparable vehicles -- those with no prior accident history and DEFINITELY those that were not deemed constructive total losses due to collision damages It is irritating enough that their report cost me any chance at a diminished value recovery, and I have confirmed this with two different and unaffiliated attorneys whom I personally know They reviewed the information and determined that the report was too prejudicial and damaging to consider escalating the matter against [redacted] to small claims court Therefore, not only have I suffered a loss in value on the vehicle that I will now NEVER recover, but I actually inadvertently paid AutoLoss.com to sabotage it by creating a faulty report that lacked thorough investigation into the vehicles they chose to include.I categorically reject this response and still contend that only a refund of the $I paid will settle the matter to my satisfaction

RevDex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Sincerely, [redacted]

I contacted Autoloss LLC after three months of fighting with my insurance company on the total loss value of my vehicleAmanda and her staff got on it immediately and helped resolve my settlement after a month and it took that long because of the delays by the insurance companyThey increased my settlement by more than $The insurance company that advertised that they will stand by you did not stand by me, but Autoloss LLC stood by me and got me $12,when the insurance company offered $for my total loss settlementAmanda and her staff did a great job and got me an equitable settlementI highly recommend Autoloss LLC if you don't feel the insurance company is giving you a fair settlement

The client has gotten ahold of us and having us modify the report His response makes no sense to me He is asking for our help further and we are gladly helping himWe will modify the claim and get his approval then fax it to the insurance company Thanks, Monica F [redacted]

Autoloss is amazing My vehicle was in a wreck and State Farm told me that Oregon was not a diminished value state I googled Diminished Value and was amazed and the laws for diminished valueAutoloss wrote a comprehensive appraisalI was very impressed with everything My case settled in a few weeks and I was given the full amount in the appraisal I am very grateful to Autoloss for the help and honesty Every time I called Autoloss it was an excellent experienceI thank God for Autoloss Sincerely, [redacted] ***

My experience with Autoloss has been a positive one - even when I called from FL at 9am which was 6am in OR and Monica actually answered the phone! Once the initial contact was made and I received an extremely comprehensive appraisal, further communications were with Amanda at their Help Desk Yes, there were times were it took a day or two for an email reply, but always a professional and helpful one I truly did not know where to start - the insurance company stated that for a diminished value claim I needed to find 3-vehicles that were the same make & model as mine, with the same approximate mileage and same amount of damage Andhad been sold or tradand received a lesser value because of the damage, although repairedResearching that scenario seemed dauntless but they did not give me any other options Taking a chance on spending $verses just walking away seemed worth trying After two of their suggested letters, which I sent on to the insurance company, I was offered under $yet the repairs exceeded $7,- disappointing at best Amanda encouraged me not to give up In the end, I did contact the insurance commission's office (at Autoloss suggestion) and was then offered times the $fee The process took almost months until I received a check A good investment with a great return - well worth the money

This company is absolutely first classWe had a damage to our almost new HondaThe auto body shop did a nice job but the fact is any car in an accident is diminished in valueInsurance company told us to fill out their forms and they will determine valueFortunately we found Monica and her company prepared CA compressive page detailed report showing diminished value of over $3000:and we had only $in famagesInsurance company accepted the claim for full amount and paid us no questions asked in weekThey sent the report direct to insuranceensure company on our behalfIt was remarkably easy and I spend a lot of time with banks and insurance companesThis was easy for anyoneTotally satisfied [redacted] FLorida

Yes, we understand the dealerships give the post loss value Our report clearly states the pre loss value with comparable We need further evidence of the post loss value The DV manual we sent this client originally went over this as well Monica F*

I was not able to work with the liable insurance company on my claim for diminished valueI googled and found AutoLoss and I have to admit I was reluctant at firstFortunate for me I called and spoke to Monica who explained the process and possible outcome and I was amazedI put my trust in her company and believe me it paid off more than I would ever have expectedI would highly recommend AutoLoss to all my friends and family in the futureThank You [redacted] from NC

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Autoloss.com did not disclose a material factThe fact that AL has known (documented since via complaints on the Revdex.com website) their appraisal is not accepted by insurance companies is a materiel fact That is a blatant violation of consumer lawThe bottom line is MF has known at least since the AL Appraisal is of no value in negotiating DV claims with certain insurance companies, including ***.Sincerely, [redacted] ***

I am writing today to request a refund of the $I paid to AutoLoss.com to prepare a diminished value report on my vehicle following an auto accident in which I was involved last July The appraisal provided by AutoLoss, Incactually provided the other insurance carrier all the ammunition they needed to categorically deny my claim for diminished value One of the "comparable" vehicles provided in their report was a total loss Trans Am that was still listed around $20K, and [redacted] used that sale listing to inform me that, if a total loss vehicle was still being listed with a $20K price, my $1K in door damages would constitute no loss in value whatsoever Kind of hard to argue with that logic, and I have abandoned my pursuit of the DV claim I find that the inclusion of the total loss vehicle in their report, and AutoLoss, Inc.'s failure to perform due diligence, realize that the VIN was tied to a total loss and not include such a vehicle in the report, proved highly prej

As appraisers sometimes the appraisals can be subjectiveIn our paid invoice and on the website it states if clients don't receive the appraisal fee after following the proper steps we will gladly refund the client their diminished value appraisal fee We never stated if the insurance company does not pay the full amount of the claim or if they hire their own appraiser then our client would get their money refunded We also sent our client a DV manual going over the steps The next step would have been for her to get the offer in writing and forward it to us We can not reimburse Ms [redacted] the appraisal fee because [redacted] decided to hire their own appraiserTypically, the insurance company will be prompted to hire their own appraiser after getting our report That is the process when settling diminished value claims We wanted to help Ms [redacted] and we have a 1-to help her immediately We can not refund her the appraisal fee because [redacted] did not use our report We would still love to help her is she would like to get our help Thanks, Monica F*

Date Sent: 9/18/2017 The check was mailed out 2 weeks ago. If Mr. [redacted] does not get the check this week we can void the check and just credit his credit card.. Please let us know if Mr. [redacted] does not get the check so we can help him further. Thanks, Monica F*

Initially, I was only offered only $for my diminished value claim [redacted] *** tried to screw me like all insurance companies doI had used Autoloss before so it was easy to work with themAfter many demand letters by Autoloss staff and Doug calling my adjuster I settled for $The process lasted weeksGreat bang for the buck [redacted] ***

I retained Autoloss.com to appraise the value of my car to justify a diminished value claim that was filed with the Insurance companyI received a fair value for this claim from the Insurance company and I am very satisfied with the outcome.I am confident that I would not have received this value from the insurance company had I not utilized the services from Autoloss.com All the staff at Autoloss.com are very professional and courteous and are experts at their craft I would highly recommend them to anyone needing to file a diminished value claim for insurance purposes

No real value added, to be honestNot saying they didn't do it what they "promised" they would do it, but the cost / benefit wasn't really thereThe report they provided for the diminished value lacked on substance and arguments, it's my believing now that they saved that for future up selling opportunities, when they would switch their charges from a lump sum for the report to a hourly charges to support arguments from the insurance companyNothing illegal, but not worth it As a matter of fact, I was better of negotiating directly with insurance company using tools I had available to my self over the internet, such [redacted] reports, etc and made a more compelling arguments than comparable car sales used on the report, using car sales from Florida to compare with car prices in Texas!!! Lessons learned

On June 27, I paid Autoloss $to help us with an auto insurance vehicle diminution of value report I did all the steps required by Autoloss to get the value raised and it was denied by USAA insurance and the insurance board According to my agreement with Autoloss -- if they were unable to get me any additional money I would get my $refunded to me This was their guarantee upon signing with them They told me the refund could take up to days to be mailed The day period expired on May 9, I have contacted Autoloss several times and I get the run around about where my check is They said they mailed it May 8, but they refuse to give me a check number to prove it was mailed The money was to be refunded after February 9, when I proved to them I was not getting any additional funds from the insurance company I did that via email February 6, and they said all was good and check would be mailed As of today, May 21, we still hav
