followed up on the information Ms. [redacted] provided. She informed our office she spoke to Ms. [redacted] and discussed the rental charges with her. They were able to reach an amicable agreement and a refund in the amount of $91.23, which includes a refund for one day rental of the truck, furniture pads, Safemove Protection and tax as well as only a charge for the fuel from the 1.9 mark. The refund was issued back to the credit card listed on the rental agreement and should post on their next credit card statement.

The email I received on 12/4/2015 stated I should call any sales rep with an 800 number.  If she read my complaint, she would have seen I had been on this Merry -Go-Round about a dozen times.  I was expecting a phone call, an apology, and a kickback for the amount of trouble I have been through.  I did try to call the 800 number to see if I could get a direct line to her, after waiting on the phone for 20 minutes, I was told she was off for today...no means to leave a message even.  The sales rep then had me hold another great while to try and connect me to someone else........same old story...

The refund should post on her next credit card statement. Mr. [redacted] mentioned he has tried to reach Ms. [redacted] but found her contact number to be invalid.

for the lack of service he received. Mr. [redacted] did obtain the $300 VIP Certificate and issued him a refund for $300 back to their Visa account. Mr. [redacted] issued him another refund for $300 for the poor customer service. He explained the U-Box did not look as if it had been broken into but believes it may have been damaged by the forklift when transporting the U-Box. Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] stated nothing appears to be missing or out of place when it was inspected but was not 100% certain. Mr. [redacted] offered to have them come to our [redacted] Park Center to inspect the U-Box when convenient. A claim will be opened if necessary. The U-Boxes have been moved from our [redacted] Center to our [redacted] Park location at Mr. [redacted]’s request and will need to be shipped out of [redacted] Park. Mr. [redacted] has Mr. [redacted]’s cell phone number if any other issues come up. Both refunds for $300 each should post on their next credit card statement.

They confirmed a U-Haul team member operating the forklift did scrape the driveway causing unknown damage. RepWest explained that our Regional President has attempted to go to Ms. [redacted]’s residence twice to get the driveway scrubbed clean and then take photos to see the extent of the damage and make a fair and reasonable offer to settle. Ms. [redacted], however, has declined this offer both times. She had submitted an estimate to repair the driveway for $600 but it was not itemized, nor did it provide any details as to what repairs were being conducted. RepWest is currently working on making contact with Ms. [redacted]’s contractor to properly assess the damage and the actual cost to repair but has not yet received a call back. We continue to be committed to providing our customers with the highest standards of service in the do-it-yourself moving industry. In addition to our basic truck and trailer rentals, we rent pick up trucks and cargo vans. We rent storage units, garden equipment and steam cleaners. We sell boxes, bubble pack, rope, tape and propane. We also sell and install permanent hitches.

[redacted] and [redacted]-same person. I was recently married. I was in constant contact with UHAUL during my rental which involved a VERY UNEXPECTED family emergency out of the way. I offered twice to return the rental to Nashville instead of Antioch. TWICE I WAS TOLD NO. It was "no problem." I called UHAUL every single day to keep in contact with my contract and UHAUL. I was told by every single person I spoke with there was no charge and notes have been made on the account. Every single time I called Antioch, IL to speak with the facility we were returning to, someone in Arizona answered. It was IMPOSSIBLE to speak with the UHAUL facility. I had the notes read back to me by the AZ receiving phone calls - ALL OF WHICH SAID NO CHARGE. It was confirmed to me multiple times. We would have modified the rental ASAP and returned to Nashville were the family emergency was if needed. I explained in detail the family emergency and have hospital info too. Again, I WAS TOLD NO CHARGES. Now, the three people who were not able to make rentals is RIDICILOUS. Why in the world would you continue to rent out a vehicle tow trailer (which I was told was wanted) THREE TIMES if you have NO TRAILER to rent out? I was in contact every single day - WHY WOULD YOU?! Makes absolutely no sense to continue to make contacts for something you do not have. In addition, I have zero ways of validating this information. I am just told, which could be anything. I am not dumb - it is easy to say three, six or ten people. But I have no way of knowing.I paid in full for my rental and trailer. I refuse to pay additional cost when I was told by multiple people on multiple days that it is no problem and there is no charge. I am sure if you pull notes from my account, you will see what I am talking about - unless of course those notes no longer exist. Which is out of my control and unfortunately would not surprise me one at all. Absolute worst company I have ever done business with in my life.
