Bournview Recovery Group ("BRG") is in receipt of the complaint from Ms***Thank you for giving us the opportunity to respondBRG contacted a consumer believed to be Ms***We are required by federal law to verify a consumer's information before disclosing any information regarding
the purpose of our callWe did place one call to Ms*** in an effort to speak to a consumer with the same name as herUnfortunately, as she indicates in her complaint, we were unable to do so and the call was terminatedNo further contact to her has taken place and her number was marked as incorrect for the consumer we were seekingAt no time was Ms*** threatened with a "case" against her or anything resembling itWe simply were contacting her to attempt to verify her informationWe did also place a call to her son in an attempt to locate the above referenced consumerAs we were unable to verify whether Ms*** was the consumer we were seeking, we were unaware that they were relatedHowever, we have reviewed the call with the representative that placed the calls, and they deny disclosing the purpose of our call as our training dictatesWe have previously closed this account as we were unable to locate the consumer we were seeking, but will continue to honor Ms***'s desired resolution and treat this as a cease and desistShe should not hear from BRG againPlease contact the undersigned if we can be of any additional help in this matterSincerely, Authorized Representative of Bournview Recovery Group
