Please note that AVAS did not resolve this issue for me - the local florist took it upon themselves to correct the miscommunication from AVAS and came through with a premium floral arrangement.

they are bound by those terms. The customer MUST approve the acceptance of those terms of service before finalizing the on line order or the order will not be placed. Prior to the acceptance of "the terms of service", all of the charges for that order are shown and MUST be reviewed before acceptance of the order.Substitution Policy:The flowers shown online are representative of color scheme, look and feel, overall style, and value; however specific containers and or flowers will vary in some cases due to floral designer interpretation, availability or need to meet our quality standards.  11. CancellationsOrders for Products may be canceled within twenty-four (24) hours after they are placed, except for orders for Same Day Delivery or Next Day Delivery, which may not be canceled. I am rejecting this response because I was told over the phone that this florist was located here in town (Mokena Il.) On their website they mislead you into thinking that they are a local business. I would never order flowers online! I always want to talk to the florist personally! Unfortunately  the local florist that I've been using for many years has retired. I feel that I was hoodwinked by their misleading information.  Thanks

My apologizes for the issues mentioned.The customer gave delivery location as 'the co. nursing home' that they would know of location, being local. They provided an incorrect address which I couldn't verify but assumed they knew of it. At the time of the order being placed, the invoice is...

emailed for a customer review and at that time, Avas needs to be notified of any errors. A correct address was provided by ther customer after missing the original requested delivery date. The florist confirmed delivery on Monday 5/2 before noon after trying to deliver to the incorrect address numerous times. As shown within the Avas website for all users to view before placing their order; We are located in Mahwah, New Jersey, but we operate nationwide by working with local florists. We also often use FedEx and UPS for delivery. Customer must review company policies/guarantees: When is the deadline to place an order for it to arrive by a specified date or time? If something were to happen to your order, would you be able to receive a full refund or replacement? Read the company policies for returns/exchanges and the fine print associated with your order to understand your rights as a customer of the company. This order was delivered and it is non refundable;If a delivery attempt is made to an incorrect address provided by the customer or the arrangement is refused by the recipient, the order will not be refunded.  We will offer a redelivery to a valid recipient or address if requested and provided by the customer.

I am rejecting this response because: I contacted Avas Flowers after speaking with my other relatives regarding the disgraceful flower arrangement for which we paid $127.00. I was going to be in Bayonne, N.J. a week after the funeral.  I was going to go to Avas Flowers, in person, to discuss the problem.  I was going to stop at the funeral home as well.  My niece researched Avas Flowers for an address. There is no Avas Flowers in Bayonne, N.J. We then researched numerous websites  where we found  hundreds of complaints  against this company. Most were the same as ours, half dead flowers!  How this "company" is still in business ?  My Aunt was waked for one afternoon and buried the next day.  We wanted the vase to stay in the Church.  The vase was going to be retrieved and replaced by Avas?  I should have taken a picture?  I was supposed to pay nearly $100.00 for dead flowers after their refund?  This florist is a disgrace .I have sent flowers, fruits, etc., all over the world for all kinds of occasions, always paid well , was never disappointed and have never complained.  I refuse their refund.  I would rather state my disappointment  and my case on social media, Revdex.com, all the florist sites, etc., etc..  These "people" ruin sad and/or special occasions.  I am livid!

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that while this resolution does not satisfy my request to be refunded in full, it is at least an attempt to improve their Customer Service.  Please note, I have not received said credit to date.

I am rejecting this response because: no attempt was made to notify me or the recipient of any delay with delivery.  I believe in good faith, you would at least advise the paying customer that the delivery would be later than requested.    I continue to request a full refund.

I am rejecting this response because:  in no way is the item on the website representative of what arrangement was delivered. The arrangement delivered was from Price Chopper supermarket   I have several photos to show the difference which were sent to Ava's flowers via email   The 3 roses in the arrangement were also half dead. I want a full refund, not just 15.00.  In addition I was charged for two Mylar balloons and full size card I did not order.  I was told it was too late to refund as shipment already went out   After several complaints I was credited for items not ordered.  The items were not delivered even though I was told it was too late, so I would have been charged for items that were not delivered    This is a very misleading "company"  complaints are very evident in several complaint sites   Fraudulent advertising.  I do not accept their response

that was sent to his email after placing the order, orders placed on Valentine's Day were not guaranteed for same-day delivery. Mr [redacted] order was completely refunded on 2/15. We cannot assist Mr [redacted] further at this point. Thank you and have a great day.

attached screenshots of my order confirmation emails. You'll note one is on January 13, 2017, the date I placed my order. The second is on January 16, 2017, after I complained that I was never made aware that the website had doubled my order without my knowledge. I also received strange invoices in both emails, which clearly shows a discrepancy in orders. You'll note one has both bouquets on one order and the other has two matching orders with different order numbers. You can't blame me for the obvious customer confusion here.I was charged one full amount for two supposed "separate" orders. I wasn't notified of my "entire" order until days later but I somehow I should have just known that I buying two identical bouquets? Interesting business logic!Yes, two sets of bouquets were delivered. They were the exact same bouquet and had the exact same message. It is not my fault that your website errored and gave me one instead of two. Why would a customer want two matching bouquets with two matching cards?I am requesting the full amount refunded to account for the complete nonsense that attempting to get this refund has been. It's clear from your Revdex.com rating that I am not the first customer to be unsatisfied with your services, and I'm disappointed that this remains the way you treat your customers after years of complaints.
