Lost TV service Saturday - reported Sunday evening - extremely complicated menu system finally connected me to a representative in a foreign country who was obviously following a scriptEventually she said she would arrange a repair appointment for Monday and call me backWhen I heard nothing the following day, I called again - the system identified my complaint and reported I had an appointment for Friday, five days after reporting the problem, which had not been reported to meAs I did not want to be without a TV for a week and I am paying an exorbitant amount for the little TV I watch , I called again to re-arrange appointmentOnce again, after going thru the irritating menu I got a representative who said she was n Central America, I asked for someone in Columbus, OH and finally got a very pleasant man who was able to walk me thru some steps that hopefully will bring back my TV serviceHowever, he was unable to give me an earlier repair appointment if his suggestions do not workFor what I pay monthly,WOW's system is irritating and useless - I a serously contemplating switching to an anenna
They are the worst services out there I've had nothing but trouble since they were installed No phone, internet, and tv The tv has went out at least times in days I've been without the tv for days & they won't be out for another days When they arrive on Wednesday 11/14/I am having them remove their product from my home How many people would put up with no tv for days straight?
In May of I canceled my service with WOWOn may 5, a representative of that company came to my house to retrieve their equipmentHe stated then that his records indicated I had signed for a"a little black box about the size of a cigarette pack" to operate a 4th TVI told him there must be some mistake since he could see that I only have three television sets and that he retrieved the WOW equipment required to operate three TVsHe agreed, but said he would have to indicate to WOW that I was not able to return all of the equipment that I signed for
Several weeks later I received a call from a WOW representative saying I owed them $for the black boxI explained "that was some type of mistake since I only had three TVs and the WOW rep retrieved the equipment required to operate those TVsI don't doubt the black box for the 4th TV was on one of the many forms I signed, but it had to be installer error or theft since I only have three TVs." This year our internet and phone have been completely unreliableWe have had repeated outages including: 1/8, 2/18, 2/19, 2/26, 2/27, 2/29, 3/1, 3/14, 3/15, and now again on 7/Every time the first step seems to be to send a technician out to our home to check all the connections and wiring and every time we get a clean bill of health internallyAnd now on a Tuesday we are told by customer service that once again nothing can be done until a technician comes out to our house to do the exact same checks, including wading through our attic insulation and matting it down, on a Friday afternoonSo including today at least days of phone and internet outage this time before the WOW team will even look for issues out on their system
Before this last run of a few good months there were multiple issues found on the WOW node that includes our houseSignals were down all around (except our internet uplink where the signal was out of spec hot)And the repair team even found a strong sign
My bill was paid on time and I was current on my bill and they sent a technician out and he messed up and turned off my cable and my internet and when I got home and called wow they tried to tell me that I would have to wait days before they would turn it back on because that's the only time they have an availability

I have been trying to get WoW! I cancelled my WOW service due to much lower than advertised download speeds of megabits per second speeds that were paid for When calling for technical support, there are always extended wait times even during non-peak times late at night After I cancelled my service, I was charged an early termination fee of $which I feel is unfair considered the terms were not followed through by WOW

Wow came to my home to upgrade my phone service and could not complete the upgrade They terminated my phone service and left me with no phone line They did not return to fix the problem like they promised They also did not come out to fix the problem the next dat The people on the phone did not listen and kept talking over me They refused to fix the problem they created They required that I take off for work to fix the problem they created They repeatedly missed appointments and refused to fix the problem they created This is not the first time they have provided terrible service
