Wow does not honor their charges that are put on the customer's bill incorrectly When a tech was sent out to my home on 9/for issues due to service interuption issues, the wow customer service had asked me to call back and they would not charge me if the problem was not in my control According to the tech, the wiring on the outside of the home was incorrectly done, so he had to rewire the previous work done by other techs When I called the customer service back, they said I would not be charged for the Tech visit, it was not in my control the wiring was done wrong to begin with He also stated he would give me a one time $customer appreciation for the inconvenience of having horrible service due to this existing issue When I received my bill the Tech visit was put on for $and the $customer appreciation was on also However, they negated themselves and I was still our that extra money When I called, the manager at wow said these techs have to be paid and the wire

I purchased wow internet service through phone and the sales person simply sent me the forms via email to sign and send backDidn't go over any explanations of the terms and everythingI had to leave the previous address due to my health issues and family problems which were unavoidableTherefore I had to cancel the internet serviceSince I didn't move to an area where the same internet service is not available, they are applying a early discontinue fee
When they sell the service they purposely neglect to explaining all the terms and conditions, but later on they are coming after me with this type of fees, which is a great inconvenience for me

The sales men who come to your door selling this product quote the wrong prices and when you get your bill the price is different than quoted and the manager that I talked to to dispute the difference would not work with me on the different price.I do not think this is the honest way of doing businessDo they need to lie about the price to get customers wow also said the price would be a year agreement at that price.When talking to the manager I was informed that the price would go up at the end of the first year instead of the quoted price for years.We are on a fixed income being we are both retired and or dollars means the world of difference

Over a period of years we have had numerous issues with our internet service either being completely out or the service received well below speeds we are paying to receiveThere have been approximately 30+ calls without a complete resolutionWe pay around per month for services that drop daily or are out frequently with no resolutionThis is not acceptable

A friend recommended Wow internet services and I called to schedule installation just to find out that my address has been 'blocked' and they are 'unable' to provide me with services
I bought this house several years ago and according to WOW Internet previous owner left an unpaid balance and as a result now I am denied internet service
However, I am not the one who owes the money to WOW and nobody related to me has had Internet service at this specific address - to the best of my knowledge , otherwise I'd be getting their bill/s in the mailbox, which is certainly not the case
This is very unusual business practice to where a new customer has been denied service due to previous customer irresponsibilityOne would think this is why we have collection agencies as they are the ones who usually take care of such issues
Unless this is some standard operating procedure to where a potential customer is made to jump thru the hoops and wait for weeks or months until WOW Internet

I am in a contract with WOW cable I am moving and called to transfer services to the new location They do not operate in my new location and are not willing to start They told me I would have to pay an early termination fee of $ I explained it is not my fault they do not operate in the new location and they are breaking the contract by not servicing me so I shouldn't be charged for an early termination fee I asked the call rep if I could speak with someone with the authority to override the fee and he connected me with a supervisor The supervisor told me they did not expect me to move and that I am breaking the contract
