WOW makes it nearly impossible to cancel your serviceYou can't cancel online through your accountThey make you call and it literally takes hours The first few people you talk to can't helpMy service was eventually cancelled because of non-payment - I was no longer using their service, but could not cancel I paid in full eventually and they turned around and restored my service without me asking for itNow I'm getting threatening letters from WOW about the billI'm currently on the phone with WOW now, hour and counting and still nobody that can help meWhen they find out you're trying to cancel, they leave you on the line for hoursIt's fraud plain and simple

Tried many times talking to someone about the charges on my bill and either never heard back or kept getting transfered or connected to rude operatorsWas charged when I no longer had service after I had canceled and returned product

I started with wow in February and everything seemed to good to be true I guess it was Three hours after my service was connected, we had an outage.In the last months I have had technicians come out I used to work from home days a week and am no longer allowed to since my wifi is not always a promise I have TVS in my house and one does not work, one, you cant change the channel and the other one is ok most of the time except we get a scattered picture on demand and dvr I have asked for help numerous times and the tech usually fixes the problem but it comes back within 24-hours I am tired of paying for something I am not getting and I was promised they would get this taken care of numerous times I was waiting for a call back from a supervisor who promised me he would resolve my bill and try and come up with a fix instead I received a call from collection saying they would suspend the only tv I have (unfair) if I didn't set up a payment plan for $ 200????

After tens years with WOW, I final switched to *** Over the years WOW has upgraded equipment, swapped equipment and finally convinced me to switch to the mb internet I paid more money for this internet and was lucky to have mb speeds Their service man did not show up in the time frame that he was suppose to I did not wait any longer for him and left He had the audacity to first charge me a dollar missed appointment fee and he records the call as he came into my house and fixed my issue by resetting my internet They did not solve my problems, even some of there customer reps said I would never attain those speeds After days of service calls and equipment being swapped out, I stopped my service with WOW I returned all equipment as they instructed at he drop box in Madison Heights They send me a final bill of a dollar credit, today they send a unreturned equipment bill WOW, you have all of your equipment I can not help you have incompetent

I cancelled service in August, a few days into my new billing cycleWhile on the phone with the rep in August, I asked for my automatic payments to be stoppedIn September, an automatic payment for the regularly billed amount was taken from my bank account ($50+), I only owed less than $from what the rep had told meI called back in September and was told there was no way to cut a refund check until the September billing ranThe billing runs and is mailed around the 20th of each monthI still have not received a refund checkThis business is basically telling me that there is no way to issue the refund of the overcharge for a month periodThis is a terrible business practice and they are taking advantage of people who are trying to cut costs

Signed up for free trial period of one month beginning on Nov I wasn't happy with the service and called to cancel prior to the end of the month I took the equipment to the closest office and was told I had no further balance I then began receiving bills in the mail for the period of use

WE SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT FOR INSTALLATION ONNO ONE SHOWED UP FOR THE APPOINTMENT NOR DID ANYONE CALL TO INFORM US THAT THEY WEREN'T COMING WHEN I CALLED THE COMPANY TO ASK WHY NO ONE SHOWED UP, NO ONE HAD A GOOD ANSWEREVERY TIME WE CALLED THE COMPANY, THEY NEVER ARE UPDATED ON OUR SITUATIONTHIS COMPANY HAS VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICENO ONE EVER FOLLOWS UP AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS APPEAR TO BE DISCONNECTED FROM EACH OTHER IN TERMS OF SHARING INFORMATIONTHIS EXPERIENCE IS ONE OF THE WORST I HAVE EVER GONE THROUGH AND I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND WOW CABLE TO ANYONE!

On this date of this complaint, my service went out for whatever reasonAfter calling WOW three times to get my recorded service restored, I got nothing but the run around all different excuses to get me off the lineI asked to speak to someone above a rep and when I do and he steadily tells me there is nothing he can do and I ask to speak to someone above him, he tells me there isn't a person above him and there is nothing he can doFour representatives and no results shows me incompetence and the customer service to me didn't seem to care for the customer at all

I have to move they do not offer a transfer to my areaI am forced to cancel my service because I cannot keep it connectedThey told me I would have to pay an early termination fee I cannot affordI would keep them if they offered the service but they do not I HAVE to cancelThrough no fault of my own they are charging this fee and will not waive it even though I can not do anything humanly possible to keep itThey suggested I pay for the internet here plus my own for the next year to avoid this fee which is ridiculousNow I have to go to arbitration to dispute itDon’t sign any contracts with these guys cause if something beyond your control comes up they will stick you with fees and tell you that’s your problem

I could not choose 2, but my complaint also involves Customer Service I have set my account up on ACH Auto Pay & your billing system has been flagging my checking account as invalid account number since the 2nd payment I've tried to make with it I have been on the phone w/ your Reps diligently every month to resolve & have been given numerous & contradicting reasons each time Every month they refund the fee, but fail to resolve the underlying issue, which is on YOUR end, as I have verified with my bank that there has been no request for payment from WOW I was supposed to receive a return call from a supervisor, and your team failed to call me back - I waited TEN BUSINESS DAYS Plenty of time After I took the initiative to call back myself & demand a supervisor, I have now been sent to an Account Review Specialist (***) who has now FAILED TO CALL ME BACK after I provided her with a letter from my bank, and she was supposed to review with IT why my account

I signed up for wow Internet several months agoThe company upon installation had issues with providing the service I am paying forI was told I would receive 80% of my Internet speed (MB plan = 400MB should be provided)This level of Internet speed has only been reached a few times since my service beganI was promised a credit on my invoice for poor Internet speedsI was only given six days of credit despite having three months of service at subpar speedsI’ve also spent over four hours on the phone and hours on three technician visits which have not resolved the issueI am still being charged full price for speed’s well below the speed of my service plan
