I sold my house in Augusta GA and moved to Pensacola FL I tried to forward my WOW internet service to FL and they did not offer services in Pensacola FL My wife took everything in to local office and cancelled the service The customer service lady told her because we were moving to a place they did not offer service that there would be no early termination fee Now, months later we receive a bill from WOW for because of the early termination they now have decided we owe fee

called and made a cable payment last Friday and service was cut of 5mins after payment was receive ask to speak with supervisor about the issue and was given a run around the entire weekend living number for supervisor to contact me and haven't been given a call as of yet

I have contacted WOW about internet services at my home since regarding intermittent interruptions which has resulted in several service calls We have updated our personal equipment as recommended and the issues have not been resolved Most recently (days), still no continuity in the service They have recommended sending a service technician to the residence for a fee We have declined because the problem has never been resolved Nevertheless, the cost of this below average service is increasing
To clarify, we have reset the modem and router repeatedly When near or far to the router/modem, WIFI service is horrible They are unable to effectively troubleshoot the cause and efficiently resolve the issue

We recently moved into a new house, and I called WOW Cable to transfer services to our new address When I spoke to an agent on the phone she stated that they did not offer service at our new address and that we would need to cancel service instead of transferring it There was no mention of any fees or other penalties for having to cancel service because they did not service our new address Today, I received a statement from WOW Cable with a $Early Termination Fee When I called to see why I was getting charged a fee for cancelling service early as a result of them not offering service at our new address, all they would tell me is that it was a "valid charge" and that it was in the contract When I asked them to provide the signed contract so that I could review the language to determine for myself if it was "in the contract" the supervisor whom I was speaking to told me that I would need a subpoena for them to send me a copy of the contract When I asked to speak to the sup

months ago I switched from *** *** *** to Wow Cable The advertisement reported if we switched to wow cable our bill was guaranteed to not increase more than $dollars every year for five years When my bill was paid last month (autopay) I noticed it was nearly $dollars more It went from $a month to $a month I contacted Wow about this increase and pointed out the advertisement special that I signed up for months ago The representative told me the basic pricing hadn't changed, but a promotional offer had expired During my conversation with Wow months ago, I asked the rep if I understood him correctly, my bill shouldn't increase more then $dollars over a five year period He confirmed this information Now, I'm being told the bill will increase by over $dollars per month but that wasn't part of the original pricing because of a promotional offer In my view, this is advertising and trickery on the part of Wow They repeatedly stated

So my complaint with WOW way internet service starts with the fact that I have been a loyal customer for many years I prepay my bill for years in advance Until recently they were billing me $200/month for 300mpbs internet only access which I prepaid with a $credit balance They then sent me an email that 600mbps at $94/month When I asked to have that price honored they said NO Only new customers get that price? The best they can do for me is $125/month Now it would seem a bit absurd but I can disconnect, and reconnect as a different named customer and they will honor that price but I ask you this, why send this email to existing customers only to aggravate them? They I sent them a message on Twitter and their customers service rep asked me so do I want the lower price? I though you got to be kidding me, right? Seems like these people have their head in the sand and one hand does not know what the other is doingTheir CEO Steve should know about this and they should honor what they market to everyone, especially those who helped them get to where they are today This is why I am writing to you because they should honor their own marketing and email campaigns for all customers, that is unless what they do is a scam, for first getting you in the door, and then sticking it to you with price increases as you remain a customer
