Contracted internet for a total of $39.99/month for two yearsConstantly getting overchargedCall in every time I receive a bill to get it correctedProblem still persists

On august 18th I cancelled my wow internet only serviceMy price increase from $dollars to $dollarsI had agreement with wow after numerous phone calls, to pay $total monthly for internet onlyWhen it increase I called wow and agent agreed to credit me $dollars to my accountMy next bill was for $Sixty seven (67) cent more than agreed....Already more crooked than usual....Wow cable keeps customers on hold/wait until my arm goes numb from holding the phone
I paid My bill on august 3, 2018, well before it was due, as I pay on line with my capitol one credit card as soon as I receive my electronic billI pay for service with wow before said service is render, I pay in advance for service, not after I get it as Wow agent on phone tried to tell me today 10-4-

I had WOW internet, cable and phone for a few yearsIn October, the wifi was not working and the phone did not work over a weekI was out of town the first week in October, so it was frustrating not to have it workingI called Customer Service different times and sent emails from the libraryThe male I spoke with did not seem concernedI tried to get helpThis was the first time I had a problem with CSI switched to CharterBig mistakeToday I was connected to WOW againThe guys who came out, Justin and David, were excellentThey finished in less than an hour, were very professional, connected my lap top to the internet, rolled up Charter equipment, and helped my grandson connect his gameThey were very niceGreat service!!! I could not find a way to do a review for them with WOW way

This is THE WORST service provider of any type I have ever had experience with after living in many states and locationsDo your research before selecting this companyI have had years of trouble with them as have many of my neighborsI contacted on my street today to verify my problems were external to my homeThey all have had a service tech visit in the past days with nothing but a B.Sanswer and NO resultsRUN! I've had fraudulent like activity from their customer representatives, where they had made changes to our account without our knowledge and/or consent & was expected to pay for a technician to come to the house to troubleshootI have also had to file a police report due to theft of my prescription meds by a technician as wellTheir services are overly priced & work intermittently at best

I was sold bundled services just before the new yearI was told that the promotional rate of $would be good for one year, at which time the rate would increase $5/yearIn my monthly statement, this is written as a $rate with a $discountIn my July statement, the rate upon which the promotional discount was given went up $So in WOW's frame of reference, I was still getting my $"discount," but my bill had increased well in advance of the one year promotional expirationI regard this as either a deceptive billing or selling practice The promotional rate is worthless if they can arbitrarily increase the price of the product at any time during the promotional periodFurther, they are still offering a promotional rate equal to the one I was offered, indicating that the price increase was not "for everyone" as their representative claimed on the phone when I called them
I was able to get a billing adjustment of $5/month on my bill that would be in effect for one year

Since service started in with WOW, I have had sporadic service issues with Wow cable & TV (3) technicians came at different times to replace set boxes with the third visit by a master tech to found that the service had been hooked up incorrectly by the techs
I was told at each visit I was not to be charged for the corrections but yet was charged $anyway I called the "customer service" in both Nicaragua & Colorado Springs, but was told there was no way they could refund my money or give me credit for the mishookups that I've been experiencing since I started business with WOW

I"ve had several issues with the cable service rendered by WOW Over the past several months, they had to come to my property to resolve issues with the cable boxes in my bedroom and livingroom, along with the master box Either the box is not sending the signal or the cable box has to be reset The past two (2) weeks, the menu would show tv program that has past and it would take several resets for it to update In some cases, I could select "grid" and that would show the updated programming, now that doesn't work Another example, daylight savings moved the time up an hour on March 12th, it took three (3) days for the box to update to the appropriate hour, the resets did not work
Wow has offered to send a repair man out, however, none can get here within the next week during a time that works with my work schedule And since, I've worked around in the past to be here for the repair man, I do not believe I should do this again for the box not work again

Their equipment is crap! It keep going out, then I have to wait several days for a technician to show upIf it had only been once it would have been no big deal but this keeps happening

I reside in a HOA community with a no soliciting sign Flyers were placed on porches and doors A few neighbors complained and called HOA The next day, I noticed a car around corner behind a tree (car engine and lights were "on" in daylight hours) The person inside car was sitting there watching me arrive home I rechecked and the person and car was watching me, making me uncomfortable I went inside my home and rechecked and the person was still watching me and parked behind a tree It was intrusive and uncomfortable The person drove on my driveway without being invited and yelled out "I am not a criminal!" (twice) I did not know him and did not know what was going on I asked him who he was His behavior was odd He said he worked for WOW I nodded and replied, Okay, you must be John Hammer He rolled his eyes and said yes He asked how I knew that information I resplied "you left marketing information on my door and this is a No Soliciting HOA community I asked

I discontinued service in August prior to moving out of state When I turned in the modem, I was told that my credit balance would be sent to me I never received it, so I called and was told that it would take one month to six weeks It is now two months after the fact and I have yet to receive the refund, but I keep receiving invoices showing a credit balance of $ This is what is due me Email and letters have been ignored and I cannot get any satisfactory results from calling

I originally requested to transfer service due to a moveUpon appointment, the technican indicated he would have to place a service verification request and I would have the results by the following Monday (11/21)I called back Monday and there were no resultsI called back the following Tuesday (11/23) and the opertor indicated she didn't see the request and would enter a new oneOn Wednesday (11/23) I received an automated voicemail indicating WOW could not service my address at this timeI work from home and was without internet service for business days at this point
I called twice the following week (week of 11/28) and twice the next week (week of 12/5) to follow-up, each time being told that they could not close the account because there was an open order to transfer serviceThey also were unable to close the orderI was repeatedly promised a call back with resolution and never heard from anyone

I contimue getting automated calls about shutoff service that will take place on the 22nd of March, Everytime I get the 'same person' (probably the only person), to take my call she gets all the information from me (seems to have no problem with that part), then I tell her what the problem is, and I never finish because when I start talking all of a sudden she can't hear me My frustration is over the top right now The check was mailed in last week on Thursday THATS all I want to say to her She keep saying "...can you hear me?" I hear her just fine, she hears me until I start to say I mailed...........the she starts with this repeated ,"I can't hear you"

I signed a three year business bundle with Knology, now WOW! and the contracted amount was never honored by WOW! I overpaid about $1,over that time period and tried through them to get it corrected Calls were never returned and when I finally got someone they told me they didn't have to honor the contract, but I did After going through multiple sources to address this, I was contacted by phone, that is on a Saturday when the office is closed or on weekdays at 8:00pm, after hours This was their "attempt " to contact me When they called during business hours, return calls reached a recording I received a letter from Ashley Smith stating I only had a day window to address the overcharges For those considering WOW!, read the computer accessed contract and "buyer beware"
